I remember one of the fandoms I follow extensively on Tumblr decided they wanted to make their fandom more welcoming to people and friendly, so they decided to do a birthday thing for people where if you wanted to participate, you filled out a forum and on your birthday, the person you sent the forum to would make you something special for your birthday. What was that thing? I have no idea. They never sent me it even though they reassured me they got my forum, and was excited to make my present since my favorite character was their favorite character too.
Basically I filled out my Tumblr blog name, my birthday, my favorite character from that fandom, my favorite transformation, and my three favorite songs. I did all that.
I wasted several minutes of my life filling out that stupid forum for something she never made for me, despite saying she wanted to and saying she was doing it to make the fandom a more friendly and welcoming place.
Yeah, some friendly and welcoming fandom it is.

She was the only one in the fandom doing it. It was about a year or two ago.

I want to see the Anastasia musical so badly!! Like everytime I listen to the original Boardway cast recording I just want to cry because it sounds so perfect and beautiful and amazing. It's so historically accurate and Anastasia has her proper title and I love how the music has a Russian feel to it.
And the actress picked to play Anastasia is absolutely perfect! She has bright blonde hair and blue eyes, she's very short and stout. Plus when she performs, she's feisty, immature, a whiner, yet also playful, graceful and intelligent. In other words, she IS Anastasia and I kinda don't want anybody else to play this part because I feel nobody else will fully embody that character like she does.
Whenever I need inspiration, I just think about the fact that Shinji Higuchi and his friends started a small animation studio and were HUGE sci-fi nerds. They made all kinds of fan films for Star Wars and Godzilla using their little figurines. In 2016, Shinji Higuchi and his friends were all asked to work on Godzilla: Resurgence, which became the highest grossing Japanese film that summer and rebooted the franchise after nearly fifteen years, and he still can't believe he directed such a successful movie of something he loved so much.

It's Home Sick for the Holidays. I read one of the stories in it already and I'm not a fan. Then again I don't really like the way that author writes.

I love those people who randomly cosplay as characters from the same series who randomly bump into each other at cons and stuff. Since I'm starting to become more social in the cosplay scene I really hope that happens to me at some point. Like if I dressed as a character from an anime and I see someone dressed as that character's friend or significant other I would like totally flip out and ask them to take a picture with me or something.

Hey. That would be cool to take pictures with somebody that your character is in an alliance with, but I never been to a con unfortunately.
Yeah, I've never been either. I almost went to one a few years ago with my ex-best friend, but we decided to cancel at the last minute due to school conflicts. Although I have been to local events in town where I've cosplayed, or just did it at my house for fun and took pictures.
They have some down in the city, but I never wanted to go. Plus I don't have anybody to go with, and I don't like going alone to fun events.That actually sounds fun! :)
It is! Over the summer I did an anime meet-up at my library. Almost everyone cosplayed but me, but when I go next summer I'm definitely going to cosplay. I'm either going to go as the person I'm going as for Halloween, or someone from Diabolik Lovers. Just because Diabolik Lovers isn't as well-known and I want to applaud literally for anybody who knows what I'm from haha
I used to dress up for Halloween but I'd usually end up as a cat using makeup, since I couldn't wait to go out with my friends. Plus a cat kind suits me since my eyes are kind of slanted. I would have to search around to get actual anime costumes, but I would personally go on Amazon.
Mom is helping me make mine. She really likes the character I'm going as, and is glad I changed my mind because my original costume idea was super elaborate and had a bunch of moving parts Mom didn't want to make.
I feel like the dream I had last night was messing with me. It was another scenario where I knew I was dreaming, and it kept laughing at me!!
The dream istelf was laughing? Was it like in those psychological scenes where a voice is coming from everywhere and nowhere, or was like someone in the dream laughing at you?
