Someone on GoodReads was describing their birthday as being nothing but filled with sugary things and lots of good books. And all their friends were wishing them happy birthday. I tried my hardest to not feel jealous, but I ended up feeling jealous anyway.

Mom says it's not her job to do such a thing. Other people ask me why I make such a big deal out of my birthday, and it's because it's important to me. It means I've survived another year in this world. Everything bad that's happened to me, I've survived and my birthday shows that. But when people ignore it, to me it feels like they're saying I don't exist, or that I'm invisible. That they don't like how long I've been on this planet. To me, a birthday is a cause for celebration that you've been through the worst in your life, but you're still alive and kicking in spite of it.
I've never thought of it like that. I think parents should definitely remember their kids birthdays.On our birthdays, mom will give us fake flowers and say "Happy Birfday!" in reference to one of our favorite shows.
My mom never does that.

They've actually done a lot of birthday stuff. But when my ex-boyfriend made me cards, he'd usually just make a compilation of all my favorite characters along with a pink aesthetic(flowers and birthday balloons and presents) and write on the top 'Happy Birthday Elizabeth! Love, Your Boyfriend'

Of course I loved it! Every year he'd do it bigger and better and I always looked forward to it. He also made me Christmas and Valentine's Day cards. They followed the same format, except the Valentine's Day card had my favorite couples on it and was red and pink with hearts, roses, and chocolates. It said on it" Happy Valentine's Day to my beloved girlfriend!"
Christmas has my favorite characters dressed up in Santa outfits and was red and green, and always said "Merry Christmas Elizabeth!" On them.
I don't know what I could do for your birthday short of a gif or video, but you get nothing from me on Valentine's Day :p

What I meant was, when my ex made me my cards, he knew enough about my favorite characters because I constantly talked about them, but he wasn't in any of the same fandoms I was in except for one. He always made those cards for me because he Googled those characters and put that on the card. If you're doing a birthday-related thing for me, I was suggesting you could do a Google search of some of my favorite characters and do something with that. Unless you've totally forgotten what fandoms I'm in or my favorite characters.
I know you're in Bleach and Soul Eater. IDR any others or your favorite characters.

In Assassination Classroom, my favorite characters are the three main ones: Nagisa, Karma, and Kaede. In Black Butler, my favorite characters are Ciel, Elizabeth, Alois, Edward, Doll, and Joanne(yes this character is a boy)
In Bleach, my favorite characters are Rukia, Momo, Orihime, Rangiku, and Mashiro.
In Hetalia, my favorite characters are Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Taiwan, America, and Japan. Also if you Google these characters, put 'hetalia' or 'aph' in front of their names, otherwise you'll just bring up the actual country.
In Sailor Moon, my favorite characters are Makoto/Sailor Jupiter, Usagi/Sailor Moon, Chibiusa/Sailor Chibi-Moon, Michiru/Sailor Neptune, Haruka/Sailor Uranus, and Hotaru/Sailor Saturn.
And I don't know I don't play much Pokemon but I like Dawn and Hilbert :P
