Mom told me that like at eight months or something you get an ultrasound to see how the baby is doing, and that she'll never forget that when she got her ultrasound, baby-me was licking her uterine wall lol
Lol at first I thought it said kicking and I was like "Why is that odd?"
I told her that explains a lot about me as an adult lol
Mom: "You should make their baby have blue and green-streaked hair! It'd be pretty!" Me: "That's not how genetics works, Mom!"
Mom: "It does in my world!"

My best friend got her learner's permit! I'm so proud of her! It took her three attempts, but the important part is that she kept at it. She offered to drive me to the BMV to get my own license done, but I declined since I don't have my own car yet and I found it to be a waste of time, but I definitely appreciated the offer.
That's awesome! Did she have to take a driving test to get the permit or just the written test?
Both, I think the one she had trouble with was the written portion.
Ah. I only had the written test for the permit, but I think it helped that I had very recently taken Driver's Ed.
That's what I did, Sera. Took drivers ed, then got my learners after school let out for the summer.
I guess I could ask her what she did, but my ex-best friend also got her permit and had to do both. So if my best friend went to the same place, then she most likely did the same exact thing.
It might be one of those state-differences.

Okay, so last night I WAS on GoodReads, but the site was being VERY wonky and wouldn't let me respond to messages no matter what I did. It still has a problem with letting me view my messages unless I refresh the page a couple dozen times, as well as telling me I have thousands of unread messages when I do not.
So if you're talking or RPing with me today, please keep this in mind.

Yeah I know, I went into UU and everyone else is having the same problem.
I remember once when I was really little a fly landed on my arm and I giggled because it tickled as it lapped at me, but then Dad shooed it away and I asked why he did that, and he said the fly wasn't licking me like I thought it was, it was actually throwing up on me. I then started crying and told Dad the fly shouldn't have been scared away for puking on me.

You know, the people who spray for bugs.
It's not fun at all, especially since we don't have any left in our apartment. But it's protocol.
*Shrugs* Maybe they're spraying for hidden ones, or to keep them away? Do they use some of that stuff that keeps bugs from coming near?
