~Look Down, You're Talking to Your Highness~[R]
The advisory is actually set to cancel at nine, which is when the library closes. I wonder if I could bide my time and go home thirty minutes later than I usually do.
Mom said if I check out any more books today she's banning me from the computer for the rest of the summer lol.
My library doesn't have a limit on how many books you can have at once, so I ended up collecting sixty.
I did have to return some stuff so in reality I probably have.....fifty-one out or something close to that.
Part of the reason why is because I read really fast, and therefore if I only check out like five books or something, then I'll go through them really quickly. I mean, I've read like three full-length books in just one day several times.
Yeah. I'm really intimidated though since the next book I'm going to read is War and Peace and it's 1,000 pages long. I'm worried I'll get stuck on it and therefore lose all of my other reading time. But then I reminded myself that I got through Anna Karenina, another thousand-page book in about a week, so I feel like I'll be fine.
But was that one interesting, versus War and Peace? I'm stuck on Hammer of Thor, which is odd since I love Riordan's books.
I loved Anna Karenina! It's one of my most favorite classic books. So I feel like I'll love War and Peace as well.
OhhhBut even then they might be different some *Shrugs* But what do I know about those two? (view spoiler)
:P Well War and Peace is about five different royal Russian families during Napoleon's attempted invasion of Russia in the 1810's.
Anna Karenina is about a Russian noblewoman who decides to secretly have an affair with her best friend and how this decision affects both of them and their friends in like the 1860's.
I've seeb few books set in the 19th century that weren't about the Civil War *Shrugs*I guess because I dont look? :D
Yes, you don't look lol It's actually really hard for me to FIND books about the Civil War unless it's like, Christian fiction or something.
More like...the spiritual journey of their wives back home, if that makes sense. And they're all set in Virginia.
Amberley made Rafael promise not to let any of the other girls see him with his glasses on, and Evelin forgot that so she had him put his glasses on to make the lace with Clarissa, so now I want Amber to find out somehow for there to be drama ^-^
