I think it's really gross when people open their mouths and show off the food inside yet every time I'm eating and someone asks me what I'm eating or what's in my mouth that's the first thing I think of doing and often do, I guess because I find it a rude question to ask when I'm clearly in the middle of eating and unable to properly answer you, like have some patience otherwise you're going to get an eyeful of my chewed-up food

My senior year sometimes I would save Lunchables from the gas station and other snacks and take them to school in a lunchbox to eat in my resource class and once my teacher asked what was in it and I unzipped it to show all these Lunchables inside and he was like 'what are you, some kind of dealer? "hey kid, you want some Lunchables?"'
Me: "Before we watched Hanako-kun I'd sometimes get recommended a TikTok compilation video for it and I'd often look at the thumbnail and be like 'wow that's a cute pink girl'! But now I know who that is," Mom: "There's no pink girls in that show,"
Me: "Think about it,"
Mom: "Oh!"
Everyone Else: "Wow Toxic Love is such a sexy-sounding song, so many people probably had sexual awakenings to it," Me: "These lyrics are some of the most disgusting images I've ever heard,"
I have no idea what this is about and frankly, I'm scared to ask :p
You ever seen Ferngully? The villain in that movie is noxious oil spilled by humans who goes around destroying the forest and he's voiced by Tim Curry, and Toxic Love is his villain song. It has lyrics like 'I see the world and all the creatures in it, I suck 'em dry and spit 'em out like spinach!'
'And what beautiful machines they have provided! Just light up the path of the doom with my sweet breath to guide me!'
'Filthy brown, acid rain, pouring down like egg chow mein! Slime beneath me, slime up above!'

Someone said acne is cute because it looks like little strawberries on your face and I've been thinking about that ever since because how can acne be so cute like that? It's gross and greasy and covers your face and if you pop one blood gets everywhere all over your face

It's not cute it's gross, Mom developed really bad skin as she got older and now her whole face literally looks like the surface of Mars
I have a painting in my room that I've had for as long as I can remember and it's just an old one of a little girl and a rabbit and every person I have ever known who has seen that painting has asked me 'is that a painting of you?' like no? Why am I always asked that, I look nothing like that girl lol Can't I just have a random painting in my room, doesn't everyone?
The only painting we have is one my mom did with her mom a few years ago at some sort of paint eventI have a poster in my room though :P
We have all kinds of paintings in our house, but it's better than my ex-best friend's place. Her family were hugely into the World Wars so all over her house were vintage propaganda posters and they were super creepy lol
Mom's thinking of putting me on an entirely plant-based diet so I'll feel sick a lot less but can still eat certain things. I wonder if it'll work and if we can both stick to it? By that I mean she'll give me burgers and pizza made from plants and not meat because she thinks the meat is what is making me so ill. She got the idea when she heard about the Impossible Whopper and said 'maybe you could eat that!' and I said I'd be willing to try because the worst thing that could happen is just...me puking
I'd say you should ask a doctor about that but I imagine you can't...going full vegetarian can sometimes be dangerous. There's a lot of nutrients and vitamins you wouldn't get so many have to take supplements.
Oh no, I'm not becoming an actual vegetarian! I meant Mom was going to look into plant-based meat. Like veggie burgers because she feels there'll be less grease and oil and stuff like that so I won't get sick. I'm practically a vegetarian already, I eat very little meat, just bacon and deli stuff
Well now I can add pretzels to the list of 'horrific things to vomit up' There was only one thing on that list prior and it was strawberry cream cheese and I still stand by that, that was one of the worst puking experiences of my life and nearly turned me away from the product altogether, but pretzels were pretty bad too
So in a few weeks the library is going to reopen its doors for a limited amount of time, as in they'll only be operating for a few hours a day and are limiting the amount of people inside and are making it so you can only visit for an hour. They're also removing a bunch of the furniture and preventing access to certain materials and making you check your items out yourself. It's almost dystopian in a way. A part of me wants to go just to see how this is going to work but it looks like I can't go without a purpose. They even said 'we're removing furniture to encourage brief, purposeful visits' so I guess I'll put a hold on something and then go get it and then see what's going on. I'm sure Mom would let me if I explain to her I'll wear a mask, not touch anything or use the computer, just go in, get my things, and then leave
I mean...they have to try and reduce the chance of infection. I wonder how they'll handle books
From what I know they disinfect and quarantine everything for several days after it's returned
I'm just not sure how one disinfects a book without wasting time cleaning every page and ruining the book :p

What about books that are just really sorry? Unrelated to any illness. Like just sitting in the floor, collecting a layer of dirt and dust and stuff.

Yeah I was assuming it was something like that because frankly not only would it ruin the book but it'd also waste a bunch of time if they cleaned the actual pages

Is this the right website? Someone suggested some sites for someone like me who's into more cutesy things and one was a clothing site but it must be wrong, none of them properly fit that aesthetic. It's more glamorous high-society stuff and I can't see myself wearing things like that. Even the graphic T-shirts didn't match what I was into at all, they were either of bands or had faux foreign words on them to sound 'cool' like my shirt that randomly says 'tres chic' in flowers. Maybe they changed their lineup? It was an older post and a lot of the other sites they recommended for other trends didn't exist anymore. The other one they gave for cutesy stuff actually does exist but a lot of the stuff I'd actually consider buying from them is sold-out with no indication of when they were or when they'll get more in
I will never forget when once Mom made me turn the PS4 on and take out a disc and put another disc in and I couldn't figure out how to do it because I wasn't waving my hand in the right spot and gave up and Mom was like 'you have to find the PS4's sweet spot and press that. are you going to get a girlfriend? then she'll break up with you because you weren't able to find her sweet spot during sex and gave up'
I hate those nights when I can't fall asleep so I just stay up all night and then I get frustrated because it ruins my schedule and my feelings of productivity and I beat myself up because I always mock people for having nights like these being like 'I never have problems sleeping! I can fall asleep at night and wake up at the snap of a finger and feel good!' so not being able to sleep feels like a punishment. Sometimes I'm not tired so I can't sleep but other times I am tired and yet still can't sleep for one reason or another. It feels like something I shouldn't have issues with and yet I just have those nights and I don't like them at all and I don't know why. I shouldn't feel embarrassed or annoyed, everyone has nights like these but I still feel that way

I've never told anyone else before, everyone who knows I like Disney likely know my favourite movies or the ones I praise highly however what nobody knows is...my 'guilty pleasure' Disney movie is A Goofy Movie. I've always loved it even as a kid purely because it reminds me of my mom. Goofy is her favourite Disney character bar none. She always told me how sad she was going to Disney World and never finding a Goofy to hug or get the signature of. Whenever I watch that movie I always see my mom and I because I know that's how we'd be on a road trip. It's not technically part of Disney's animated canon but we both watched it as part of our Disney-Rama and I told her she has always reminded me of Goofy because she is super weird and doesn't care what anyone thinks of her, she's just going to put her freak self out there and she was like 'you thought I would be offended being compared to Goofy?! that's the biggest honor someone could ever give me!' It's not a movie I watch much but I always like watching it from time-to-time because of how close it makes me feel to my mom and watching it together with her was a really amazing experience

I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, not even the first I'd recommend to people, but it means a lot to me. I dream of the day I get the chance to yell Mom's version of 'Dad! Do the Perfect Cast!' to her(it makes sense in context it's like the movie's whole crux)
