Why do you hate them?
Because they taste bad? Shouldn’t that be like the one reason to hate food?
I’ve narrowed it done and I believe the cause of all my vomiting these past few weeks have been these sandwiches we get delivered. Everytime I eat them my stomach hurts really badly and I often throw up. Nothing else they give us makes me feel this way. But why? These are the same sandwiches I used to eat a ton at school and they never once made me sick. At first I thought I was leaving them out for too long but even eating them refrigerated makes me sick. I have trouble confirming this because my brothers hate the sandwiches and give them to me but I get the feeling I’m right. But why? I could always eat them in school just fine and there’s nothing on them that could make me sick normally
I remember when I was a kid and I was upset that I couldn’t eat beads
My mom is excited because she found her old Dr. Who shirt she thought she lost years ago
We got Noodles and Company and Mom tore my middle brother a new one for trying to order the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese lol

She was like: “I’m not paying fifty dollars in total just for you to get some macaroni and cheese that you can get anywhere!” She was also mad my baby brother got butter noodles. She was like ‘do you guys have no concept of good taste?’

She’s not wrong I order the weirdest things in town. When we go to Trojan Horse I just get a burger and lemonade and at Village Deli I once had a chocolate milkshake with a bagel and a cheese omelette. I’m happy I can drink now because Mom says a lot of restaurants in town have the best alcohol like next time we go to Trojan Horse I’m going to hint that I want that malt wine thing
Yeah the Baklava Milkshake which is a milkshake with vodka in it. Last time we went I wasn’t old enough and I was a bit miffed because it sounds really really good

I remember when a while back I came across a Finnish I think she was an artist because she was on DeviantART but I can’t remember what sorts of art she actually did but she was basically crazy and ignorant and I thought long and hard on what she said but it keeps simmering inside of me because it’s really stupid. And look I’m not European obviously so I’m not claiming to know certain things about the nations within it and it’s entirely possible that she knows more than me being from there, however her statements were so off-the-wall I refuse to believe she’s right. Basically the stuff I read from her and her major thing seemed to be about Disney Princesses, a fruit that’s hanging so low it’s not even on the tree. One major complaint she had was that all of the European ones were white because ‘Europe is not the Aryan paradise full of blond-haired blue-eyed people Americans think it is’ like what does that have to do with anything? And just for the record, in her own words, she was half-Romani yet that doesn’t have to do with anything. So she’s half-Romani, so what? Yes I know there’s still huge prejudice against Romani people in Europe, in Finland though? Also when Disney was adapting more Western fairy-tales they were made at a time when that sort of thing would be heavily frowned upon if not outright boycotted. Perhaps there were people even back then who wanted someone like Sleeping Beauty to be of a different ethnicity however because it was 1959 they couldn’t do that. I only partially agreed with her on Frozen because I think it’d be interesting if at least Anna was Inuit or something similar because she looked more ethnic to me than Elsa did but at the end of the day I don’t mind because they’re Norwegian. Even though according to her the average Nordic person has dark skin so you shouldn’t praise Disney for making Anna and Elsa white
She also complained about Tiana being forced to live in the real world with no magic and she doesn’t even get a castle at the end and how that’s racist because it sends the message to little black girls that ‘oh you can be a princess but you can’t be a fairy-tale princess you have to be a real one’ like????? Are movies like Beauty and the Beast just non-existent to her? I’m sure they explicitly say it takes place in France, a real-world location. Or heck how about Mulan? Also magic is a huge part of Princess and the Frog; yes voodoo is a real thing however I was thinking more of the general premise of them being frogs. And castles existed in Europe in the twenties but the story is American and Nadeen is prince of an island nation anyway so Tiana would get a mansion probably. Oh yeah and Pocahontas didn’t get a castle either, I couldn’t help but to notice she excluded her
She also claimed that only having ‘one’ Disney Princess for each ethnicity makes it so little girls of that ethnicity will have to buy a doll of her even if they don’t like her just to have one that looks like them. Now I will admit there’s a small bit of truth to this, however there’s just not a ton of Disney Princesses to begin with. And this isn’t the eighties where that argument held a bit more merit because nowadays there are tons of doll companies designed specifically to make dolls that look exactly like any little girl you want. In fact I think Disney even makes some themselves
So basically I read all this and was put in an annoyed mood for the whole rest of that week. Everything she said was stupid nonsense and despite coming close to having an actual real point at times she ruined it by saying even more nonsense. Again I’m not European so maybe it really is filled with ethnic people not a white person in sight as I do not live there however I’m willing to bet she’s wrong about that based on everything else she said

Yes, I do know that. I wasn't trying to imply there are no ethnic people in Europe, I know there are, however she was talking as if white people were a minority there

Mom and I were watching a movie from the twenties a few days ago and we made a joke about something a character did and she asked if I'd say that if we were watching it in theaters back then too and I said I would and then Mom said: "Well the audience would tell you to quiet down," And I said: "I'd just tell them right back that I can talk all I want because the movie has no talking in it!" And Mom was like: "You'd be savage even in the twenties?" And I was like: "I'd be savage no matter what era I was born in," Lol
SimCity 2013 was a good game you guys are just mean and sometimes I want to play a game where I don't have to worry about building thirty cemeteries because everyone in my city is dying from bad drinking water and I literally can't figure out why
It had a glitchy release and apparently you always needed to be online at the startPlus tons of people think EA is the most evil force on the planet and wants to like, kill or enslave them >.> when they could just...not play the stuff.
Yeah the online stuff was really annoying and I think even now the game is practically broken if you try to use it offline which sucks because it's like the one game we have on the computer that technically doesn't need an Internet connection to play so I often try to play it when our Internet cuts out

My baby brother came into my room just to tell me it was stupid how Shiro was made the gay guy in Voltron when Lance and Keith were already perfect to be a gay couple if they needed one and I told him that they worked way better as close friends and friendly rivals than romantic partners especially since Lance was a huge flirt with girls and he literally was like: "NOPE!" and slammed the door in my face and I don't think I've ever been so insulted in my entire life lol
I'm still extremely infuriated over the fact that when I broke my arm in third grade I accidentally broke my wrist a week or so afterwards because I fell down some stairs at school because I couldn't catch myself with my broken arm so I had to wear casts on both arms and my parents said they never took me out in public until they came off because they were embarrassed and afraid of people thinking they beat me and they told me that stuff right in front of me and I don't remind Mom of it because she'll probably say she forgot but I didn't forget, I'll never forget, thank you for making it seem like breaking my arms within a week of each other was my own fault instead of feeling sympathy and trying to help me out because I literally couldn't even eat by myself, and also my parents made me go to school anyway even though I couldn't write with either hand Looking back on it I think that might be the reason I never broke another bone, I couldn't deal with that ever again
A post-apocalyptic book where one of the characters is a super traditional girl who loves to cook and clean and embroider and whatever else and the other characters mock her because they assume a frilly girl like her won't survive very long but she becomes a very useful asset to their group because she can cook and mend clothes and wounds and is also very useful with medicine and identifying edible flowers and herbs

I thought of it because Mom had me watch videos of people horribly ruining baked goods because they’ve never had to make them before and I was like ‘we need to start teaching our daughters how to bake bread again because it’s pretty pathetic the Victorians were better suited for the apocalypse than we are’
