I told her I like having her around because she gets to see all of this meme stuff before they become that so I have more context other people might not about certain things. The movie is a really famous Nicholas Cage one about a guy who thinks he’s turning into a vampire

I randomly thought of once when I went to the library last summer and a really bad thunderstorm happened that afternoon and the power went out for a while at the library though they did get it back on, and I went home at my usual time and told Mom what had happened and she was like 'the power didn't go out here'
Reminds me of how we were hit by an earthquake one summer. Dad called to make sure we were okay and we had literally no idea what the heck he was talking about. We were playing putt-putt.
I think she was just confused lol I told her I didn't get it either, there was a massive flash of lighting and majorly-loud thunder right before the power went out, so I'm assuming it hit something downtown directly

I want to get a MacBook for the virus protection but you can't play games on Mac. Mom said I just get a PC with really good virus protection and I said that's super expensive and she said get a free one and I said the free ones are terrible and she got mad and said she's not arguing with me anymoreSo basically my choices are a Macbook which has everything I already want/need on it except for the fact I can't play games on it. I can get a PC to play games but I'd have to worry about the virus stuff. Which one should I get? Anyone have any ideas/advice for me?

My stuff on Steam, my FaceBook games, and since it's my personal computer I wouldn't mind building back up my game library I had in ninth/tenth grade but that was an older system so I'm very reluctant and sad to admit that stuff I had on there like all the Roller-Coaster Tycoons and the second Age of Empires might be lost causes
What sort of stuff on Steam? SOme games are faaar more CPU intensive than others.Older games like RCT and AoE might take some optimizing to get working but it is possible.
I can run the original Fallout on my PC without issue!
Stuff I already play extensively like Shadowverse because I've put so much time and effort into that game I'd hate to have to start all over again just because I switched computers. I'm not sure how to optimize games though

Alright so, I'm pretty sure Shadowverse is an online game right? You have an account and can play against real peopleIf that's the case then I'm fairly certain it saves and progress to your account, not your computer. So as long as you use the same account you SHOULD be able to play from anywhere.
As for older games like RCT and AoE, you're going to have to Google instructions in how to get them to run, assuming they don't work fine on their own. Sometimes you get lucky and there's no issue.

Why does nobody have tolerances for sour candy anymore? My brothers hate sour candy so they always give me stuff like the extreme versions of WarHeads and Toxic Waste and marvel at how my expression barely changes as I suck on them. And I don’t even like WarHeads because they taste bland to me they’re not fruity-tasting enough. Same for some other people who are always amazed at my tolerance like if you just eat a bunch of this stuff you’ll eventually get used to it
I freaking love sour candy. I get Warheads all the timeEven just thinking about it is making my mouth tingly and salivate.
I like Trolli’s stuff. They not only have sour gummy worms but also sour sloths and sour octopuses and they recently released an ‘all-star’ mix with all those plus sour llamas and sour high-fives! Their sourness is like extremely low but they make up for it in the taste department so even though the sourness doesn’t register with me I can still eat them and enjoy the actual taste unlike a lot of other sour candies

I liked it though it's not really something I'd watch on my own if Mom hadn't made me. I already believe a lot of that whole 'you are more than just a consumer' stuff they say in the movie. Mom said she was jealous of me because she'd give anything to enjoy this movie for the first time unaware. I thought it was good but I don't really get why she thinks it's one of the best movies ever
Who cares if the writer said Trump is an idiot? You're really going to let your own stupid political agenda get in the way of acknowledging that people out there are suffering because of what's going on? And I don't care if 'she wasn't actually sick with COVID-19' being sick in general at the moment is terrible. She had a newborn. Who was vomiting. And she couldn't get to the pediatrician. Life sucks for everyone right now on either side. And I don't care that 'she made it political first' she was just stating an opinion. Literally one line while the rest of the article was about how hard it is to care for two sick very young children when both you and your husband are sick.
