Besides it's not like it's the only app that exists for meeting people :P I've been given some good recommendations for lesbian dating apps so I might look into some of those too
Me: *watching the anime opening for Danganronpa* Mom: "I love that opening because everyone else looks super badass posed with their talent, and then there's Makoto who's not only falling down but also lost one of his shoes,"
Mom: "Oh, it was your idea? Well okay then, I'll be kinder to it since it's yours and not some random one you found on the Internet,"
Mom: *gets my baby brother addicted to a show I dislike* Me: *gets my baby brother addicted to a show she dislikes*

She was reading this whole thing on Reddit about how people who want to become super successful and rich and popular do a literal deal with the Devil but it's a double-edged sword where someone has to be sacrificed every so often to keep the Devil happy, and you have to 'sign a contract' so to speak where you subtly let everyone know exactly what is going to happen to they write it off as pure coincidence and the celebrities can keep doing what they're doing. She said Kobe Bryant was the sacrifice for the Grammy Awards because a show a few years ago showed him dying in a helicopter crash and she said: "They told you that would happen, so you can't say they're liars or are cheating," She then said: "I'm not sure if I actually believe any of that stuff, but when you look around yourself and you see all of these super successful people and companies who seemed to gain success overnight, it really makes you wonder,"
I think that's more just a spooky coincidence. she doesn't like the kind of person that believes such things
She also said CERN recently openly admitted to gathering resources from parallel universes and assumes they're actually the ones who made Steins;Gate to tell everyone exactly who they are and what they do so you can't get upset over them being a bad company, and they did it all by disguising the game as an innocent, cutesy dating simulator so people would happily play it and not think super hard about it
To be fair though, she did say she doesn't really believe in all that stuff, she just thinks some things are more freakish to be considered a pure coincidence
A physics lab community that do a lot of experiments on stuff like that, like they're also the ones who are developing supermassive black holes in the safety of a lab environment . A lot of people who believe in the Mandela Effect do not trust them and believe they're secretly trying to sabotage humanity in some way; they even believe CERN is doing all the experiments they're doing to try and develop time travel
Satellite just means you have a giant dish on your house that you can't use during thunderstorms :P Literally everyone in Mississippi had a satellite TV. Including us. I think it's more of a Southern thing because whenever I visited down there I'd always see houses with satellite dishes but up here I've only seen a couple I used to watch that channel in middle school in the mornings getting ready for school
I read a list of Top Ten Best VNs of the Decade and I was really surprised Steins;Gate got number one. Not because I don't like it or because I wasn't anticipating it, I just assumed something else would over take itAlso I wish the list didn't count sequels to series because the same game series got to be on there twice, kicking out other spots
Me: *types in literally any other website name without the .com part* Google: "Yeah sure, I'll take you there instantly, I know what you mean!"

Google: "I have literally never seen this person before in my life,"
My mom used to write fanfics back in the day, like way back in the day. Nothing special, just things about her OTP at the time or other random stuff she wanted to write about. The writing was decent. However she stopped partially due to having actual things to do, and also partially because she ran out of ideas/inspiration and no fandoms she joined afterwards really gave her a drive to write fanfic anymore. However she has been thinking about getting back into the fanfic writing game for over a year now, but has been hesitant purely because she has no idea what to write or which fandom to even write for anymore and doesn't seem too eager despite bouncing ideas off of me. She seems to have a general idea of what she wants to accomplish but no clue which fandom would fit it.
Randomly though, just the other day, she decided she would write a parody fanfic and make herself off as a thirteen-year-old having her first sexual experience to the thought of someone swallowing raw eggs, and she keeps talking about how people are going to praise her for writing it, and I told her most people would kinda just shrug at it and move on with their lives lol
She said it's mostly just silly because it's a bunch of bad sex puns, but if that's your favourite book in Skyrim then she doesn't want to hurt your feelings by insulting it :P
I'm fully willing to admit I didn't really think about that 'I like you better in leather' joke and its implications until I saw a TikTok of someone realizing what it meant, and then I started to think about it too and was like 'oh'
Ooooh my baby brother's getting laid, everything in his backpack smells strongly of expensive perfume
Either that or it's his which I honestly wouldn't put past him, he sneaks into my room constantly and puts on my perfume and he thinks I don't notice but I do
My Baby Brother: "OMG why does everyone at school call me gay?!"Also My Baby Brother: *wears my clothes and makeup*
