It’s predicted to snow here. I know that if I wear a coat and stuff like that over my outfit as I walk to the library I’ll be fine but I just don’t wanna for some reason

So yeah I stayed home this time for Halloween and Mom and I just watched The Sixth Sense together which I never watched before and she likes that movie and thought it’d be a good one to show me for the season

My baby brother's best friend is coming over today to spend the night and I'm not looking forward to that. Not because he'll be annoying or anything but because I know they might be loud together and make Mom upset

I've said that it's musicians who are cursed to die young from drugs/alcohol/suicide, at least most of the time, compared to actors.I mean compare Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston and the like compared to Samuel L Jackson, Morgan Freeman and Betty White

I figured. But it does seem like actors live longer than musicians which, obviously is a coincidence and totally not superstitious or mystical in anyway, absolutely not :PIt really will be!
I always assumed it was due to the stress of their careers. Not saying actors don’t have stressful lives either but they’re allowed to like grow old and have families and stuff. Singers really aren’t

Well can you think of any famous singers who got married and had kids? Sure there’s some but not as much as actors
I more meant like what might the reason for that being?
Because singers are seen as being more ‘in the moment’ they become super irrelevant quickly and have trouble adapting their sound to match what’s going to be popular in a few years and even if they do so they tend to get backlash. And people only care about the persona they put on for singing not their actual personal life. While an actor is nothing but their personal life while they play different personas on-screen

Mom has this whole huge conspiracy theory that Joaquin Phoenix is actually a half-child of that family from the mother because he’s not blond like his other siblings and his name doesn’t have the same ‘theme’ as theirs and she is going to great lengths to try and prove this lol
I don't really like people complaining about dress codes because I always think of this one time when I was younger when I wore a white see-through T-shirt and my bra was clearly on display. The teachers didn't care and I don't even think the students cared but I literally couldn't focus on my work all day; I felt ready to burst into tears because I hated everything being on display like that. Eventually I had to ask to go to the nurse and got a regular orange T-shirt that covered everything. But hearing people say 'omg school is so stupid i should be allowed to wear whatever i want, it's just a bra!' makes me feel like I should be ashamed for asking to change my clothes when nobody cared about what I was wearing and that I should've proudly displayed my bra under my see-through shirt

I've see. guys get away with all sorts of dress code stuff a girl would be in MASSIVE trouble over. That's what makes them mad.
I don't know, maybe I'm sexist too then because I don't wanna see people's bras hanging out and stuff like that. It's unclassy. It's teaching you how to dress for work and when you have an actual job you can't just go there with your boobs out unless you're like a stripper

When I went to the library yesterday there was a big group of kids in the teen room camped out in front of the large TV in there watching that Dungeons and Dragons cartoon on YouTube and when I started to tell Mom about that show she was like: “I really enjoyed that show as a kid! I watched it at my babysitter’s house a lot,” and I was like: “Wait you actually knew about that show?!”I actually thought it was the eighties Voltron at first since I didn’t read the title and the character designs are really similar but then I saw a unicorn and thought that couldn’t possibly be Voltron lol

I want to know what lead to this
A few months ago our city became infamous for finding out a vendor at our Farmer's Market was a Neo-Nazi and there was huge boycotts and protests as a result. I saw a lot of the protests where people were holding stuff that said things like 'don't buy veggies from neo-nazis'. Even a threatened shoot-out at one point which even Mom was like 'maybe you shouldn't go to the library today because you'll have to walk through the farmers' market but then again you know what to do if someone starts shooting rounds right?' For a few weeks the vendor didn't arrive to the Farmers' Market to sell, but after a while they came back and everyone just kinda forgot about itMy comment above was my response to Mom telling me she originally thought this one family who sold meat there every week were the Neo-Nazis(she was right)

Looks like that Artemis Fowl movie was pushed into 2020 and that's why it didn't come out in August of this year like it was supposed to. That's very disappointing especially since this stupid thing has been supposedly coming out for the past three years. But hopefully this means it's finally going to be released. Mom's really looking forward to the movie and obviously I am too. The boy they got to play Artemis Fowl is so cute and exactly how I pictured him looking in the book!

I begged her over the phone to let me come home because they made a hit-list and seemed pretty serious but she just said: "Do you know what to do if someone starts shooting? You throw yourself down on the floor and make yourself as small as a target as possible. If they're just spraying bullets out everywhere trying to hit someone, your chances of not getting shot are high if you do that," I don't know maybe they do, ours sell weird things sometime lol
