Earlier my baby brother said that Japanese is a stupid language because you can’t actually insult people or be vulgar in it like you can with Spanish(he’s taking Spanish) so I whispered under my breath: “Shut up, you piece of shit!” In Japanese and my mom started to laugh so hard lol
My mom actually disagreed with me and thinks I'm sick because my nose is red and my voice is all scratchy but I told her I'm not sick and it's not allergies, she's just seeing things that aren't there It was a weird role-reversal lol

I found a video made a decade or so ago of someone talking about what they thought the new video game consoles would be and it was the most cursed thing I've seen because it carried an energy I cannot explain Like they were all like 'maybe we'll have nintendo games ON OUR PHONES!!!! have you heard of virtual-reality? well the new xbox system will have that, probably. there's a new nintendo system coming out with it's own controls that you can take off and carry with you and you can hook it up to your tv. i know they just released the wii but they're making a new one!! they're also going to release this thing called the ps4, and later on rerelease it with better graphics and there's also going to be a slimmer version so it's easier to put somewhere,'

I thought Mom really disliked Rob Lowe as an actor or thought he was ugly or something because she teases him everytime she sees him in something but she said she used to have a huge crush on him when she was a teenager, she just likes to tease him because all she can think of now when she sees him in anything is that scene from Tommy Boy where he plays an incompetent villain and gets his member stuck in one of those vacuum tubes and she said that really killed the hotness factor for her lol

I like using bright computers and turned the brightness on my baby brother's school laptop all the way up and almost burned my eyes out

My mom is getting on my last nerve. This fanfic I'm pretty much writing only for her because it was all her idea, and she absolutely keeps dragging her feet about it and refusing to read it. I didn't even want to write it, but she talked me into it so well that I eventually decided I'd read the novel and write the fanfic if she kept her own word. She keeps bribing me with all kinds of things to make her happy so she'll read the fanfic and I keep holding up my end of the bargain, but she isn't holding up her own end. I am literally throwing every other thing in my life away to work on this fanfic so I can get it all done faster. The problem isn't me, I always ask her about it when she's in a good mood. She constantly puts herself into situations where she'll have nothing to do but read the fanfic and she still hasn't. Everytime I ask her about it, she just says 'oh i'll get to it eventually!' but I'm sick of her saying that because she clearly never will!
Just thinking about this depresses me. I feel like my writing skill isn't good enough to pull it off, for multiple reasons, and it's also a very niche thing. I've tried to seek out interested fans, but most of them have no idea what the source material even is and just are intrigued because it's a new idea. Mom keeps praising how perfect my casting choices are, but she only knows that because she's familiar with the source material. People who don't know anything about it will think I picked who I picked because they're my favourite characters when in some cases, that couldn't be farther from the truth. This is also going to be a very long fanfic, and I just don't feel like wasting my time on what is going to be a huge saga with major character deaths reminiscent of Danganronpa if nobody else is invested.
She seems so excited about the idea and really wants to read it and draw fanart for it and make it this huge epic saga, but if she's not going to pull her own weight, then I'm not going to continue this charade anymore. I do not want to keep wasting precious time and energy of mine into something that basically only one person is interested in. And I don't even need to write a fanfic for her, I can just tell her about all the different scenes I envisioned. She doesn't even seem to realize there's a problem though, and just keeps saying she'll get to it eventually when I know she freaking won't. I'm just upset that she can rope me into doing something so purely self-indulgent for her, get me excited about doing it, and then never hold up her own end of the bargain.
But I guess this is to be expected of her.
If you hate it then you REALLY shouldn't be doing it. Outside of a job situation (9where you don't always have a choice)) you shouldn't make yourself do stuff you don't like just to please other people.
I don't really hate it, but I feel depressed by it. It's more my mom's reaction to the whole thing though. I'm probably just so desperately thirsty for fanart for my fics though that I'll probably keep going along with it no matter what....after all, she seemed super excited by it despite me telling her numerous times I didn't want or need fanart for this fic....
I think I finally snapped, my baby brother said he was making oatmeal and I started laughing really hard without anything prompting it lol

True, but at least those are all console games and not PC like Undertale is

My baby brother plays it and loves it lol I don't really think it has much of a story honestly
I thought about playing it but I just got Borderlands 3 sooo
If I ever want to play it I have to reinstall it since my baby brother finished it and purposefully got the terrible end since it was the last thing he had to do, and that ending uninstalls the game from your system
Mom got Honey Bunches of Oats for me since I really like that cereal and she was sick of my baby brother always eating an entire box of cereal on the weekends, and when he asked what cereal she got at the store and he saw it, he was so upset he just froze in shock silently lol
