My baby brother recently got addicted to Minecraft again and realized on mobile you can play it with other people and chat so now all he ever wants to do is use the iPod which leaves me with his laptop and I don't want to use his laptop really because everything I need to do is on the iPod and I'm very annoyed and really hoping he gets bored of it soon but likely never will
Mom: "Why would you do this?!" Me: "You know how I do the casting, I go by whose personality fits the most for that character. I haven't read the book yet, so maybe I'll change it when I do, but as for right now, that's who he fits,"
Mom: "Why would you make the best boy be Chihiro?!"
Me: "Because Chihiro is best boy in Danganronpa!"
Mom: "No!"
Mom: "You're in for such a treat! The guy you made be Hifumi has a lot of gross-out scenes where he's vomiting and just being gross in general because he's really fat and supposed to be a joke. Plus he has a lot of masturbation scenes!" Me: "I feel as though I have made a horrible mistake,"
I saw a lovechild someone made for Sakura and it said she had named her son after Chihiro and I'm just kinda like... 'but why though?' Because Chihiro wasn't important enough to her for her to want to name her son after him. If she named her son after anyone, it'd be Kenshiro, her boyfriend/first love. I actually am not a fan at all of that naming technique in lovechildren fics. Everyone has to make it so a character's child is named after someone in their life and it gets tiring. I would only ever do that if it fits the character, and it very rarely does.
I think the only three times I ever did it was that Black Butler fanfic where Ciel dies and Elizabeth names their twin children after him and her older brother, but that was intended to be a 'bad-end' scenario and I highly doubt she would do that in a world where Ciel survives, she has no need to.
The second time was in that Diabolik Lovers AU where Laito names his two children after himself because he is extremely conceited and loves himself more than anyone.
And third time was in my Highschool DxD fanfic where Gasper names his daughter Valerie after the most important woman in his life; the former Vampire Queen Valerie. Gasper is mushy like that, plus it's only just her middle-name. Her full name is Alexandra Valerie Vladi.
so yeah, I kinda want that to stop unless it fits the character in question lol

Fanfic reasons. It's technically not Ebola, it's a made-up disease but I feel like some of the signs are similar to VHFs, so I made it be that. It had to be modeled after Ebola because it's the only VHF I could find that is highly contagious and spreads from person-to-person
Is it just me or does GoodReads look super strange on mobile? Did it get updated again?
It's more frustrating to use at the least but I don't think the look is that different

Mom said that my fanfic AU will likely become super popular due to the inspiration and the illustrations and how people at the end of it will all come together and applaud me, saying that I wrote a masterpiece of a fanfic, and I told her that if this is the fanfic I become super famous for, I will cry and not in a good way lol
My grandparents came today and we spent some time together! They took us out to an actual good pizza place. It was a lot of fun because they weren't able to visit us this summer even though they wanted to because Grandpa was sick. They told me about that old ancient rabbit they still have and how it's super spoiled because they feed it oatmeal lol

I heard loud shots but assumed someone was just setting off fireworks because that's a pasttime in my neighborhood, but then the police showed up and have been here for the past hour and forty-five minutes and apparently taped up some houses. So I'm guessing someone actually got shot

Our car has an ugly bullet hole and shattered window on the side and I'm so upset by it because I just know that Mom isn't going to get that fixed, she'll either explicitly decide not to or just not have the money, and she's still going to actually drive that thing downtown and everyone is going to automatically know what part of town we're from is she does that and I'm so upset by this because what other person my age has a bullet-hole in their car's window? Nobody! And if they do, they go get it fixed! I've been staring at it for the past several minutes and I want to do nothing but cry over it

From what I understand some random people who don't even live here showed up last night trying to start a fight some other people who were visiting our neighbors and then they all just started to shoot. I don't think anyone got injured or anything though. I got in trouble with Mom for saying 'Geezh, this isn't L.A.,'
The shooting here is in the news and everyone in town is talking about it. Hooray I'm famous

I tried to send that fanfic to my mom in an email because she wanted to vet it first so she can draw fanart of whichever scene speaks to her the most, but her email address is something stupid and I warned her I wouldn't be able to remember it, and she said I'd be fine.
