Uhh it's just like moving from one planet to another, except the only thing that can cross is the airships. Like, the existence of Val'JaLon isn't well known but lots of people, but some people know about it. Don't overthink, okay?

I only have history left for my angels, and Arana's mostly done. Did we ever figure anything out for them?
I'm not sure how my character developed her personality though...maybe she learned it through one of her friends?
Because like I said, I only see them once in a blue moon. It'll be nice to at least see how they look after all these years. Apparently Damien dropped out of high school to peruse his job though, and Anastasia does online school, according to my aunt on the phone.
Oh. I guess when you see your cousins all the time and have similar interests you tend to be close :\ Well I hope it turnsnout well.
We used to have so much in common, now we really don't. It actually inspired the plotline for one of my contemprary novels.
Yesterday I went to a really fun block party! Block parties are when a neighborhood gets together to hosts a party on their street, and all the residents of a neighborhood are invited to attend.
I was invited yesterday, and decided to go only to see if anyone I knew was there, but then I got really into it;there were snow cones and games a raffle-which I didn't win. There was also music and I danced a whole bunch!
I had a lot of fun yesterday. It's a shame this particular party only happens once a year, since this was certainly one of the best ones I've been to and I'd like to go again.
I was about to ask what a block party was :pThat sounds awesome! Wish I could've gone :p
(view spoiler)
I was going to explain what it was for the foreigners because I feel like block parties are purely an American thing :P
I've never seen a block party before :p Then again, I live in a more rural area.To give you an idea of what I mean: the lake by my grandparents' house is usually filled with algae because there's a lot of cows in that area who you know...use the bathroom and that flows into the lake which causes algae to grow and makes it hard to fish.
MmIt is :p But does it help imagine how rural my area sounds? We're not in the middle of nowhere, but there's enough nothing for cattle.
Yeah. I don't live in an area like that at all. I live in a bad part of town though, and a lot of people have gotten upset how close my neighborhood is to the more prestigious part of town, but they don't do anything about it.
I never said gangs *Shrugs* Though I can't help but wonder what makes it a bad part of town, you know? I'm sure you've told me but I've also told you my memory sucks, so :p
That's good.I've been woken up by gunshots and fireworks. But even though this is the Diet South ((:p)), it's still likely from a person using their gun just because.
Lots of people here do and they go around waving their Confederate flags and showing that they're proud members of the NRA and blah.
This particular area is kinda conservative, but my town as a whole is really liberal. Yet there's still conservatives who get really upset when my town holds pride festivals and whatnot; they stand at the entryway of said festivals and hold signs about religion.
Mom said if they're THAT uber-religious, then they picked the wrong town to live in haha.
This area is highly conservative. I've seen people who worship You-Know-Who like a god and would deface any Clinton signs during the election. You know...I don't get the whole "Pride" thing. What is their to be proud of? Your state seceded from the Union and took up arms against their nation, murdering their countrymen, all over slavery
And yes it WAS over slavery. The states themselves said so!
Well...for most that I can think of. North Carolina mainly seceded because SC and Virginia did, so they would have been completely surrounded.
Oh >.< Well my point still stands!Coming from a Christian, the logic behind "It's against the Bible so it should be outlawed" is stupid. First off, you know what is forbidden in the SAME BOOK OF THE BIBLE? Eating pork and shellfish. Body piercings ((including ears)). Wearing clothes with different fabrics and a bunch of other things. Where is the protest against those, huh?!
Second, if you don't like it t h e n d o n t d o i t
I don't agree with having to pay for healthcare. I think it's greedy and immoral. But just because I think that doesn't mean it's going to be changed.
I probably should have used a better analogy...hmmm...*Shrugs* My point still stands: just because you don't like it doesn't mean it should be outlawed.
If you've been in my profile you've likely seen this picture, but this about sums up my reasoning:(view spoiler)["br"]>["br"]>
Technically I'm pro-choice simply because it's not my business what people do, but in reality if you're getting an abortion just for the 'lulz', like: "Oh, I can just get an abortion if I get pregnant! That means I can have as much sex as I want!" Then I think you shouldn't get an abortion. That baby needs to teach you responsibility. However, if you were raped, or got impregnated by your brother or something, or if the baby itself is extremely sick or deformed, then I would say to abort it.
My mom is pro-life, but she wants better birth control. In her own words: "Pro-lifers just want to control womens' bodies by telling them to never have sex. If we got better birth control and education, then there would be less abortions, but nobody wants to invest in that,"
That's it exactly!! There are some times where if an abortion isn't performed, the baby AND woman could die. If you're "pro life", why would you sacrifice the living woman like that? Many people I imagine are actually "pro-birth" claiming to be pro-life.I saw this picture too, which I agree with. Disregarding the poor use of punctuation please. They make a fantastic point
(view spoiler)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
And outlawing abortion will do nothing but increase deaths from unsafe abortions. They're going to happen whether you like it or not, so if you're pro-life, why not make sure that the person who is alive stays that way?
My ex-best friend: "I hate those people who say: 'The child you aborted could've cured cancer!' Like, why not teach the children who are ALREADY HERE about how to cure cancer?!" Lol
Yeah really. Maybe if we cut back on the military and gave more funding to schools and made higher learning cheaper ((or free!)) people could cure cancer with those increased opportunities! And I can't help but wonder how many "pro-lifers" are trying to get rid of guns, which kill ((let's be real: the bullet going through your body is what ends your life)), make healthcare more accessible to save lives, reduce the military which is designed to kill and help impoverished starving people get better quality...everything.
