True, but at the same time I'm not sure who'd read an erotica written by someone who calls them lettuce...
I listened to the first Division Rap Battle from Hypnosis Mic and it was really good and peppy??? Like I wanted to start dancing to it. I'm still pretty new to Japanese rap in general but from what I understand all of the voice actors are famous rappers themselves and are actually from the areas their character represents? Plus I like the idea behind the areas anyway. The creator said he wanted each group to be a representation of the best parts of each city, and I'd say he succeeded. The only city I didn't recognize at all was Ikesono I think it's called? Or something like that. But I recognized Yokohama, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. I've actually wanted to visit Yokohama for a while
The rap itself was really good and they were able to use the advantage of their own language to make really fast and witty lines in a short amount of time. They're pretty similar to our own raps so.
I also listened to the solo/introductory song of my favourite character and the rapper did a good job on it, but his voice is soooo jarring because you can tell they wanted Yuki Kaji to voice this character and they couldn't get him simply because he's not a rapper and they needed a rapper
But yeah his was pretty much like 'I'm super cool super cute super fashionable from shibuya represent my city!! i love all the pretty big sisters, i take them from you homie! if you a dude get the fuck back, i will chop you up with my knife and serve you up. oh? you think that's mean? you think i'm cruel? i don't care so long as my pretty ladies are all by my side'

Annnnnd I’m pissed off again I had some cream cheese left over and though it was tiny there was just enough left for the four bagels I have left and I was going to eat them with leftover orange juice for a snack but then I kind out that Mom threw the cream cheese away because according to her ‘there was basically nothing left’ and so I’m stuck with four bagels and nothing to do with them. So what is she going to do, buy a whole thing of cream cheese just for four bagels? And then what?
So then I asked her what I was supposed to eat and told her to make me something instead and she got all pissy and grounded me and told me I’m not allowed to eat anything
And now she’s ranting that she’s only upset because we do nothing but demand perfection of her otherwise we’ll ruin her life???
Ummm okay you brought this upon yourself by throwing away something you knew I was going to eat and you knew I would get upset at if you threw it away without some kind of backup plan so don’t start talking shit like that
Call me petty or a spoiled brat if you want to but she brought this upon herself today and I do not feel one ounce of pity for her
I’d be soo annoyed but tbh I’m to much of a coward to act angry at my mom lool.
My mom isn’t feeling good and she was trying to sleep it off but my baby brother woke her up by playing Fortnite and I’m incredibly pissed again. I have no idea what I’m even supposed to do. I’m still grounded and I just know she’s not going to make food for me even though I’m starving! I don’t have anything to eat that I can make myself....not like I’d even be able to if I did because I’m grounded as I said....
That’s sad when is your next meal you’ll have?

I think I finally reached the boss battle for Forestcraft in Shadowverse and oh boy did it utterly destroy me. I was not prepared for her to use cards from every single class though it makes sense. And it also doesn’t help that I was mainly distracted from staring at how creepy her design was
My mom literally just said she doesn’t think she wants to give me food tonight. She was complaining about how her week was awful So? That doesn’t mean you can't just withhold food from your child? I literally ate thirteen hours ago. I even offered to go out and buy my own food so she wouldn’t have to cook twice and she still seemed to decline

My grandparents are coming over today!
I was watching a video from 1929 about this guy who went around interviewing old people and the things they remembered from their youth is truly mind-blogging. One guy talked about the roots of Broadway. One man traveled around with his grandparents who were preachers and were also Dutch immigrants. Another person talked about being born in 1829 and his life in New York City. This one woman talked about how she remembered seeing Native Americans near her own house as a child. This other guy talked about how he fought for the Confederacy and his parents lived on a plantation, and he fought when he was only fifteen!There were even more stories and they were all so mind-boggling. To think those people were alive and around to see so many events...and most of America wasn’t even America when they were young!
History is amazing. It's full of terrible things but also absolute awe.
I saw another video from the 70’s that was an interview of a woman who lived in Victorian England. Just imagine everything she experienced. She started her own fashion business and everything. The British commenters were even talking about how her accent doesn’t even exist in England anymore

This is probably a very strange thing to rant about but I am so sick of seeing all of those SebastianxOC fanfics that take place at Weston College The reason is because it's pretty obvious that they don't read the manga, they just want to write about the prep school arc and all they know about it is that there's a prep school and Ciel and Sebastian go there briefly in disguise. But that's the problem. Sebastian and Ciel are not affiliated with Weston College. They only went there for a few months tops for an investigation. They leave just as quickly as they arrived after their investigation is done and move onto the next thing because that is what they do
But people are making it seem like Sebastian was this huge deal in the prep school arc when really all he does is fight the Undertaker at the end and get information out of Joanne about Maurice Cole. That's it. The rest of his time is spent taking care of Ciel like normal
And you're probably thinking, 'what's wrong with that? some people are just having fun'
Because they seem so smug about it. And I hate how it completely ignores the existence of the characters that were actually introduced in that arc and play a role and are actually associated with Weston College because that's what they do in their daily lives!
I'm reading this one fanfic about a girl who's in disguise as a boy attending the school and her secret gets found out by Sebastian. The whole entire time I read this all I can think is how much more interesting it'd be if it was the OC with one of the prep school boys as I call them. Like imagine the conflict with Edward admiring a strong and independent girl like the rest of his family but also wanting to report her because he's a stickler for the rules. Same with Clayton. Cheslock could tease her and poke fun at her. Joanne would ultimately keep her secret but be really embarrassed at the thought of a girl at the school, experiencing all of the boy things that they do
There's another one that I'm holding off on reading because I'm worried it's going to be another SebastianxOC one about a girl who was groomed to be a bride for one of the prep school boys. It really sounds like it has potential but I'm hesitant because I've been tricked by these things before
Nobody cares about those characters because they don't know about them. They just care about Sebastian but not enough to actually look into what him and Ciel did in their time there. It has gotten to the point where i'm really starting to dislike anything to do with that arc and that's a shame since it's my second favourite arc out of the entire series, second to only the

The prep school boys are some of my favourite characters and I'm really sick of them not getting appreciation. Edward has a little bit because of the movie but the other three are often left behind. I'd love to see more JoannexOC or CheslockxOC or ClaytonxOC. I think there's interesting personality dynamics to explore there

This is actually so frustrating because you can't 'blame' these people for not reading the manga (because freedom of choice or sth) but at the same time its like writing something you have zero clues about. I mean I can't stand OOCness already + those who don't do research so I don't know how you deal.

Maybe its just me but I feel like the majority of kuro fanfics are like this? The spotlight is always on Sebastian and most of the canon characters introduced are often pushed to the side and appear super one-dimensional, either they have two lines in the entire fic or their names are dropped. What's worse is that they use Fanon Sebastian instead of canon - you know what that's like, I trust you.

I found that in a FaceBook group I’m in where somebody posted a....and I don’t really want to say this word but it’s the best word I can think of to set the scene....a ‘cringy’ fanfic thing where their ship gets married and the boy becomes prince of his wife’s kingdom and everyone is happy and the guy forgives the girl for all the bad things she’s done and stuff like that And people were reacting to it using stuff like that and I was laughing so hard my stomach started to hurt lol
I know it probably seems mean that I’m mocking this person too, but I’m more laughing at the memes than anything else. I know first-hand what it’s like to receive reactions like that for characters or ships that I like because I don’t ship the most PC or popular things. It’s very therapeutic in a way, honestly. Like just the other day I saw a YouTube comment that was basically like ‘she killed two people in cold blood just for money and has no remorse for it nor is she even sorry or does she even care. And people like her because...?’ I like her because she’s interesting and I can relate to her
Now I did look into the ship and the characters the person was going on about and evidently the girl is the villain and does horrible things like basically screwing the main character over royally. But she’s the villain. That is what the the villain is supposed to do! And HeroxVillain ships aren’t uncommon anyway. She actually reminds me of Finis in a sort of way since they both emotionally manipulate the protagonists
But basically it was a good laugh because I felt that in my soul. It’s no secret I like controversial characters and ships and thus seeing all of those responses made me feel good since I have been the target of such comments and made them towards other people too

My mom says the school ordered her to look into a therapist for my middle brother and I got extremely upset and told her that if he gets to go to therapy, then I want to go too. She doesn’t even need to schedule appointments or anything like that, I just want her to help me in the right direction. But she simply said I don’t actually need a therapist and that she doesn’t want to help me Naturally I’m very annoyed by that. Of course I need a therapist, I think anyone who talks to me for an extended period of time will think the same! She just doesn’t want to help me because she has her own insecurities and stuff. Really the only reason she’s even getting him one is because the school forced her to or something
I'm upset because I made plans to go to the library later but it's expected to storm later and I don't want to deal with that
Alright they changed the forecast and it looks like it'll just rain but no storms until later. I'll plan accordingly
