I had such trouble sleeping last night. I only went to bed two hours before my alarm went off because I eventually passed out from exhaustion. I had been trying to fall asleep since nine PM. And then when my alarm went off I woke up and Mom came into my room to get the iPod and was all like: "Look who got two hours of sleep after staying awake for twenty-four hours!!!" And it soured my mood since I actually wasn't even trying to stay up late last night! I literally couldn't go to bed! And I wasn't awake for twenty-four hours either....
I deserve that kind of snark when I legit do stay up all night on purpose and am really tired and irritable in the morning but this time it wasn't my fault and yet she still said that

No, it had nothing to do with you. I was just utterly unable to fall asleep for some reason

I was thinking about how there are actual studies about how if you are an older brother with a younger sister you are more likely to have a good relationship with your future girlfriend since you care about girls and know what they want. Even things like anime tend to portray that It kinda makes me feel like I got the short-end of the stick seeing as how anime and other stuff treats older sister and little brother relationships. A lot of them I feel send a kinda sexist message that you will get stuck with a dead-weight manchild who plays video games all day and throws money at cosplaying thots and only keeps you around for food and sex.
Think about stuff like dating simulators. These are supposed to show your ideal, perfect type. The little-sister is always very sweet and innocent and helpful and loves to cook and clean for you. Meanwhile the little-brother is a spoiled immature brat who sits around all day gaming or reading or sewing or whatever who relies on you to give him snacks and sweets and also to help him out when he’s horny.
Not every game/anime is like this but I can’t help but feel like it’s still the majority
And when THAT is supposed to be the ideal type for you and the reality of who you might end up dating, is it any wonder an older sister like me often feels depressed about her position?

I was recommended one of those videos where this one guy makes fun of bizarre video game ads. I didn't really want to watch it since I dislike it when people trash mobile game ads since the ads are pretty bad and do a good job of driving people away from the game anyway. I play a lot of poorly-advertised games and I'm sick of getting judged by the awful ads. Plus I didn't think it'd be a funny video anyway.But I decided to give it a try anyway, since if it turned out to not be very funny I could always just turn it off.
I am so glad I decided to watch it since one of the ads was literally just a badly-drawn animation of a bear spanking another bear who was crying and red marks were being left on its butt while the bear doing the spanking looked you right in the eyes

It's so infuriating how they are into things that are literally nauseating and then want to kinkshame me Like I know vomit is gross. I find it very gross and disgusting. But it's still something I like and I'm sick of people constantly insulting me for it.
