One of my friends suggested it to me and I mentioned qwhat you said but don't remember what they said in turn...
You shouldn’t avoid it just because I’m avoiding it, you know. If you genuinely want to watch it, then watch it. My problem with it is that it doesn’t sound very interesting. Sure the idea is interesting, but it’s basically just about some kids trying to escape their orphanage. It’d be like if the first episode of Seraph of the End was all that anime was about. And maybe I am being too mean to the show but at this point I don't care. It sounds boring and I never want to see it mentioned again for as long as I live
Our power keeps surging. I wonder if that means it’s going to go out at some point
My middle brother got two huge cakes at the store and I can't wait for Mom to wake up and see we had to practically reconstruct the fridge to fit one of them in there lol

No? Like I said the plot is fine, it just sounds boring overall to me and sounds just like Seraph of the End except with demons instead of vampires
My mom woke up and saw the cakes in the fridge and got really annoyed. She scolded my middle brother and told him just because the store is giving away cakes doesn’t mean he has to get one and if he does get one then that doesn’t mean to get all of them and if he does get all of them then don’t get a cake that takes up an entire shelf of the fridge lol

No. This probably makes me seem mean or something but I’m not easily-affected by stuff like that. My problem is that it seems really similar to Seraph of the End, which honestly wouldn’t be much of a problem if they did something different with it, but all the stuff I’ve seen and heard about it it doesn’t seem to. It’s about children trying to escape from an orphanage where they’re secretly being sold off to monsters, like Seraph of the End, it takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, like Seraph of the End, it has very creepy atmosphere and scenes, like Seraph of the End, and it parodies the typical ‘altruistic bright-eyed shonen hero and the cheerful world where everything works out in the end’ formula like Seraph of the End does. The only difference is that they’re a lot younger than in Seraph of the End which I always felt was a fault of that show; Seraph of the End might have a stronger message if it was twelve-year-olds doing that sort of thing But my point still stands. So far I have seen nothing aside from the ages that separates it and honestly I don’t really want to watch a show where the oldest character is eleven. Personal preference
Ugh it actually has a super good opening too. Like this is top-tier worthy in my opinion and I hate that because now I want to actually watch the show!!!! It’s even done by the same people who did the second opening for Bleach!

Mom made me watch this reviewer talk about what he considers to be the worst anime at the moment; Hand-Shakers. And to be frank, when he was saying things like ‘let’s roast this’ and ‘this is anime’s greatest mistake’, I thought it’d be super incompetently done or barely animated or just super offensive or something like that but it seemed to be just generic run-of-the-mill bad. It certainly was terrible, don’t misunderstand, but I was expecting something a whole lot worse

The only thing I did like about that anime was the fact their powers were based off their hobbies. That’s really creative and I wanna see that in more anime since it opens so many doors for creativity

Hey people who read my journal who love K-PopIs there such a thing as K-Rock? Since I literally can't get into K-Pop at all but I do really really love rock. In fact I like J-Rock juuuuust a bit more than my beloved J-Pop. So I was thinking K-Rock might be the one for me seeing how much I love rock.
Does it even exist? Is it mainstream/easy to find? Any good suggestions? I like G*Addict and BABYMETAL and Jun Fukuyama and Noriaki Sugimiya for some examples of J-Rockers if you need examples to give me recommendations

Spring Break is finally over so I can finally get some work done....Except the computer's Internet connection doesn't feel like working today....
"OMG you can't call transgendered people hot!!! That's so transphobic of you!!!!" So we can't find transgendered people attractive? There's a big difference between just finding someone attractive and actually fetishing them. I feel as though fetishing is believing that a certain thing exists just for your own arousal, which can be pretty bad when people bring that sort of thing into their public, everyday life. But finding a certain person attractive I don't think is bad as long as you're not crossing the line into fetish territory. Like I would date a transgendered girl, some of them are very pretty. Maybe I'm not the best person to talk about this....but it's just a thought I had, especially because a lot of the people saying that aren't even transgedered themselves! They're not even identifying as another gender! They tend to be cis!
So if they do indeed think such a thing, I curse them to an eternity of body dysphoria and constant confusion and ridicule. How dare you think you can tell others what they can and can't find attractive, especially if you yourself aren't a part of that community!

I’ve always wondered why certain female monsters are obsessed with having the children of a human male. Like I was reading this thing from one anime that’s like: ‘Male vampires enjoy kidnapping human women and using them for pleasure and having them bare their children. Female vampires also enjoy kidnapping human men and using them for pleasure and baring their children.” Like I can understand the males because it’s a sign of superiority and they don’t have to deal with the baby after it’s born. It’s why harems are so effective. But why would a girl vampire or any other creature for that matter want to have a human’s child? They have to have this spawn in them for nine months and they can’t get rid of it let’s assume. Is it for superiority? But you can technically only have one baby at a time and it still seems like a bragging point for the guy, like ‘omg I totally just got this vampire chick pregnant’ unless they’re really wimpy and shy which is what that paragraph seems to be implying maybe? But even so it’s weird that a vampire girl would be bragging to her friends like ‘omg guess what girl one of my human slaves just got me pregnant!!!! haha what a disgusting little worm he has no idea and that’s why it’s funny!!!’

i've wondered that too sometimes. And for the males it could be not just because they knocked a girl up but they have something rare. For the female monsters it's..just a normal dude.
Well sometimes the guy has powers but I’m talking specifically about regular humans I even remember seeing an ASMR with that premise where the vampire queen captures the human adventurer who’s shy and meek and she’s all like: ‘you are my prisoner now. oh, you have a ring on. a fiancée? well too bad. now you shall be my king. you will have my children with me. I want a lot because my species is dying out. awww don’t cry. I thought this was every human male’s dream?’
but at least it makes a tiny bit more sense there since she’s mocking him. The anime I was reading about made it seem like they do that to any human males they find regardless and I wonder what the point of that is
