I don’t know vegans are weird Maybe vegan isn’t the right term I’m looking for but there are a type of people who don’t want to eat glucose/wheat products
I love those moments in mine and Sarah’s RPs when Toris gets embarrassed by all of the children that he has and Natalya always teases or reassures him by saying that in her country having many children is seen as a badge of honor since it shows off who really claimed your wife and also shows off that you have a large penis To which Toris just gets even more embarrassed lol
My mom randomly found an anime on Crunchyroll and told me to read the plot and said ‘omg Elizabeth that sounds like the perfect anime for you!!!!’ and I got annoyed because now I really want to watch it but I don’t wanna seem weird lol
I forgot what it was called but it's basically about a boy who's father remarries and he ends up getting a step-sister. A step-sister, who, according to the synopsis: 'she's seventeen-years-old and has fallen deeply in love with her new stepbrother....who's only thirteen-years-old!!!!' It looks like a comedic slice-of-life anime where they have to get used to the stuff stepsiblings have to get used to, like living together, going to the same school, etc.
Finished last night: The Royal Tutor(Both first season and movie) Thoughts: I first saw the promo for this anime on Crunchyroll back in summer of 2017 I believe when it first came out and immediately became hooked. The plot sounded like something right up my alley and I spent the next few days watching nothing but that anime. I was really loving it. However, I got too busy and neglected it, only watching two more episodes in the past year and a half. However, I decided to finally finish it and my thoughts hadn't changed. A unique animation style, really funny and heartwarming, and a good spin on a tired story. Plus it was inspired by historical events which was good because the anime community is in need of some good historical-based anime. All in all a really good anime. I really want them to make a second season!
Anime Completed: 1 out of 20; 19 left
Next Anime to Finish: Castle Town Dandelion

didn't think the story was overused but nice review!
I didn't mean that in a bad way, just that this sort of plot is common in things I watch lol It's the basic story of 'rich/important person is too busy to watch their children so they leave them in the care of a nanny/tutor. but due to being neglected the children are very disobedient and haughty and mistreat their nanny/tutor and run them out. but then a special nanny/tutor shows up and at first the children are rude to them and dislike them, but as time goes on they learn to love them because they treat them like actual people and when it's time for them to leave, they're in tears because they don't want their favourite person to leave'
Stuff like Mary Poppins and Nanny McPhee are textbook examples of that plot, both with nannies. Though I think the family in Nanny McPhee is actually a poor family and not a wealthy one but it's still the same plot
Believe it or not it was actually my mom who made me finish the anime. She put me in a position where I'd have no choice but to watch TV and she said 'didn't you say you wanted to complete your resolution? then go do that right now!! i am literally giving you a golden opportunity to do so!'
Nope. Though to be fair this is the only anime I've seen with that plot so I suppose it's unique in that regard
I can't wait to finish Castle Town Dandelion though. It's funny how I just finished an anime about a large royal family where they're all competing for the throne and now I'm about to finish another one. They're both comedies too although Castle Town Dandelion takes place in the modern era and not the Victorian Era
'have fun being a princess girls, you're going to have to marry your first cousin and have your children turn out like Charles II who was so physically deformed he couldn't even eat his food properly' This killed me lol
My mom had a sudden spark of inspiration and badly wanted to draw something for me because of how inspired she was but I told her that I had no ideas currently since she always does this to me; makes me come up with an idea for her to draw but then never does it. We went back and forth for a long time before I eventually made her draw something random because I just wanted to be left alone. AND THEN SHE ACTUALLY ENDED UP DRAWING IT
My baby brother tried to trade his sandwich for a soda I have in my room and I told him I’m not allowed to give him any soda and he knows it and he threw the sandwich on my bed in anger and shut my door and screamed: “FUCK THIS FAMILY!!!!” And Mom yelled at him lol
My brothers are hoping they won’t have school tomorrow and I told them they probably would but after seeing how dark it is outside and how cold it’ll be tomorrow I’m not so sure anymore
Lol this Trump supporter just called me a betrayer of my own nation because I like Russia? Like okay then I just like their culture the guy you voted for is a legit democratic threat but okay call me a bad guy then
And I don’t even like the nation to be honest. The government is terrible and treats its citizens badly and uses its shared history with its ‘allies’ to consistently dominate them and make them dependent on it by sapping their economies and keeping dictators in power. I was always afraid of having a president who actively encouraged such behavior by being close with the Russian president and letting him do whatever he wants. The ex-Soviet nations look to us as an example of what they want to be when they become richer and democratic and we stabbed them in the back. Not to mention stuff like the ‘president’ of Tajikistan making a video of him exercising with a solid gold bar while most of the citizens starve due to staples like rice and bread being inflated horribly high. And they aren’t even allowed to speak out against it because they are practically a dictatorship. So I’m the one betraying democracy because I care about these things? I’m an imperialist and thus I believe it is the job of larger and richer nations to take poor and small ones under their wings. If Russia won’t do it, and we won’t do it, then who will?
But yeah sure, I’m a betrayer of democracy. All because I want other nations to experience it
I don’t even like historical Russia much though lol This is a nation that got so sick of Moldova not listening to them in the 1940’s that they created a famine that wiped out a good chunk of the population. They barred the Baltics from using farming techniques that made them rich and forced them to go back to feudal methods of farming leaving them incredibly improvished. They sucked the literal life out of nations in the Soviet Union and threw them in the trash and now they wonder why those same nations hate them and want nothing to do with them
they're the traitors to democracy for their gerrymandering, voter suppression laws ((Mitch McConnell flat out said that he didn't want Election Day on a weekend because it would increase votes for Democrats)), suppression of free speech ((SNL skits no less -_-)) and death threats to people who don't agree with them! Not to mention big corporations getting bigger while we get nothing and they use that money to lie to us use fearmongering, making us put people into office that will make those same richies richer
As you can tell I'm quite angry about this too
It’s been several years and Mom still thinks the funniest thing she has ever seen on the Internet is that ‘that’s my favourite animal’ picture
There's a new dating simulator coming out for mobile I think. And part of the gimmick is keeping the actual plot shrouded in mystery and a lot of traits of the main characters so you have to decide who you like purely by appearance. I already have my favourite from the promotional art. And recently they released a promotional trailer detailing the characters' names, ages, interests, etc. The game is basically about members of a police force who fight monsters but they themselves are all that same dangerous monster they're fighting. It's one of those stories. They're all in the police force so of course they're all old enough to have a job like that, being in their mid-twenties.
......Except for the character I was eyeing, who's only thirteen!!!!
Why does this keep happening to me?! It doesn't even make sense in the context of the game's story!
It's practically a running joke at this point
Every time I have to load up this game and see the introduction posted with its horrible rendering and badly-cut-out and superimposed pictures I just want to cry
My mom wanted to take time out of her morning to tell me Leonahrd wasn't a real name and I looked at her like 'what am I supposed to do about that?' lol
I will never forget that one time I turned an iPad on in Japanese class and I found out someone had changed the default wallapaper into this:
I got in so much trouble for how hard I laughed but it was worth it. And then when i told the story to my resource teacher in twelfth grade he asked to see that picture and I showed him and this one girl came over to see it too and said 'that's amazing'
A lot of people are growing bored of Helix Waltz and uninstalling the game and moving on, even ones who used to support the game heavily and pour a bunch of money into it. I don't want to sound selfish, but I am worried and concerned for my own future gameplay. I've put some money into this game. I have played it for numerous hours on record ever since launch. I have collected over half of everything available in the game. I have grown incredibly invested in the various characters in the game and have shipped them together; I've even written fanfics for the characters. I've seen the signs. It always starts like this. This game was very successful upon launch but as time went on they were unable to keep up with demand or people just got bored anyway and took their interests elsewhere. And then the game deletes itself, unable to keep going without mass support. People are already going to their other game despite how horrible the mice-transactions are because they find it more enjoyable. That's a horrible sign.
And yes, the game itself hasn't actually made any announcement but I'm allowed to be concerned because like I said, I've seen the signs. I warned myself not to get invested but I did anyway and even spent money. If this game goes I won't have that entertainment anymore. I got super invested into the characters and plotlines of Star Era, Goetia: The Forbidden Tower, and Hero Warz. But they're gone now, in both America and their native countries. And Helix Waltz may go their way very soon. Helix Waltz's prequel has already been taken off the App Store for nearly a year now in both nations.
That day is fast approaching but I'm not ready for it. I will never be ready for it despite how hard I tried to force myself to prepare. I knew it would happen inevitably the moment I downloaded it and begun to play, but I willfully ignored that feeling.
As I said, the game will most likely be fine. However as I said, I am very familiar with these warning signs. And if Helix Waltz goes the way of games like that, I literally don't know what I would do.
This morning whenever I've tried loading certain things on YouTube the connection times out and then I receive an error message that says something like 'this website's network is having issues, please contact them' or something like that. It's likely only me though with how bad our WiFi got after Mom switched it to a cheaper service. Still, our actual computer never has problems like that.....
