Maybe vegan isn’t the right term I’m looking for but there are a type of people who don’t want to eat glucose/wheat products

To which Toris just gets even more embarrassed lol

Thoughts: I first saw the promo for this anime on Crunchyroll back in summer of 2017 I believe when it first came out and immediately became hooked. The plot sounded like something right up my alley and I spent the next few days watching nothing but that anime. I was really loving it. However, I got too busy and neglected it, only watching two more episodes in the past year and a half. However, I decided to finally finish it and my thoughts hadn't changed. A unique animation style, really funny and heartwarming, and a good spin on a tired story. Plus it was inspired by historical events which was good because the anime community is in need of some good historical-based anime. All in all a really good anime. I really want them to make a second season!
Anime Completed: 1 out of 20; 19 left
Next Anime to Finish: Castle Town Dandelion

Sounds fun

didn't think the story was overused but nice review!

It's the basic story of 'rich/important person is too busy to watch their children so they leave them in the care of a nanny/tutor. but due to being neglected the children are very disobedient and haughty and mistreat their nanny/tutor and run them out. but then a special nanny/tutor shows up and at first the children are rude to them and dislike them, but as time goes on they learn to love them because they treat them like actual people and when it's time for them to leave, they're in tears because they don't want their favourite person to leave'
Stuff like Mary Poppins and Nanny McPhee are textbook examples of that plot, both with nannies. Though I think the family in Nanny McPhee is actually a poor family and not a wealthy one but it's still the same plot

AND THEN SHE ACTUALLY ENDED UP DRAWING IT

So I’m the one betraying democracy because I care about these things? I’m an imperialist and thus I believe it is the job of larger and richer nations to take poor and small ones under their wings. If Russia won’t do it, and we won’t do it, then who will?
But yeah sure, I’m a betrayer of democracy. All because I want other nations to experience it

Not to mention big corporations getting bigger while we get nothing and they use that money to lie to us use fearmongering, making us put people into office that will make those same richies richer
As you can tell I'm quite angry about this too

The game is basically about members of a police force who fight monsters but they themselves are all that same dangerous monster they're fighting. It's one of those stories. They're all in the police force so of course they're all old enough to have a job like that, being in their mid-twenties.
......Except for the character I was eyeing, who's only thirteen!!!!
Why does this keep happening to me?! It doesn't even make sense in the context of the game's story!
It's practically a running joke at this point

And then when i told the story to my resource teacher in twelfth grade he asked to see that picture and I showed him and this one girl came over to see it too and said 'that's amazing'

I've seen the signs. It always starts like this. This game was very successful upon launch but as time went on they were unable to keep up with demand or people just got bored anyway and took their interests elsewhere. And then the game deletes itself, unable to keep going without mass support. People are already going to their other game despite how horrible the mice-transactions are because they find it more enjoyable. That's a horrible sign.
And yes, the game itself hasn't actually made any announcement but I'm allowed to be concerned because like I said, I've seen the signs. I warned myself not to get invested but I did anyway and even spent money. If this game goes I won't have that entertainment anymore. I got super invested into the characters and plotlines of Star Era, Goetia: The Forbidden Tower, and Hero Warz. But they're gone now, in both America and their native countries. And Helix Waltz may go their way very soon. Helix Waltz's prequel has already been taken off the App Store for nearly a year now in both nations.
That day is fast approaching but I'm not ready for it. I will never be ready for it despite how hard I tried to force myself to prepare. I knew it would happen inevitably the moment I downloaded it and begun to play, but I willfully ignored that feeling.
As I said, the game will most likely be fine. However as I said, I am very familiar with these warning signs. And if Helix Waltz goes the way of games like that, I literally don't know what I would do.
