Like I said, I am always ready to help :P

They said one of the risks could be strong tornadoes

Yeah I don’t know either

What I mean is the fact that almost all of the guys are really muscular. Normally I wouldn’t care. But this is a guy who is supposedly bullied and kicked around and made fun of constantly. He’s a weak and awkward nerd that is always bullied and is super unpopular. When one day out of the goodness of her heart the popular girl takes pity on him and befriends him. But if he’s super muscular, then why are we supposed to believe that he’s being bullied? He needs to look like someone who you wanna punch in the face because he’s a ‘smol wubbie’ Not look like someone who could easily punch YOU in the face. And they give him nerdy hobbies that would in no way give him a body like that. And what if the guys watching the anime for wish-fulfillment? Maybe the mind of a guy works differently but don’t guys wanna see a guy who looks like them in that role? Instead of some huge beefy guy?
And the girl designs. Don’t even get me started. They’re just as diverse as the guy. I get the idea behind them, at least. They punch and kick the guy around and step on him. They’re tough and dominate women. I get that. But in many cases they are supposed to also be the ‘princess-type’, the most popular girl in school, the really beautiful and girly-girl character. Yet most of them look like tomboys or gangsters. And that is just as unbelievable. This is the girl who spends several hours getting ready and who hates getting messy? Then why is her skirt cut in seven different places and why does she look like she just finished getting in a fight? You can make a fighter girl also be girly and a princess-y type of girl.
And I understand that artists want to branch out and do different things. They’re artists after all. But some designs have to make sense for the personality type and character they’re trying to portray. And sometimes subversion is good. But why are you trying to subvert expectations in a show where you are playing the tropes straight? And why are you treating this like it’s totally believable? Yes diversity in character designs is a very good thing, but this isn’t diverse at all. We need a bit more of the traditional looks spread around. There’s a reason the saying ‘oldie but a goodie’ is a popular saying.
And of course I'll still look into animes like that. Perhaps I am just a prick and judging them by their cover. But at the same time, maybe I’m actually in the right for being unable to properly enjoy a show when I have a hard time believing the show’s universe when their characters are constantly rivaling everything

I don’t think it’s your thing unless you like thirty-seven-year-old men being ogled by fifteen-year-old girls

Yeah that doesn't make sense. if he's buff then you'd think *he'd* be the one doing that kind of stuff. Or at least fighting back.

I don’t think it’s your thing unless you like thirty-seven-year-old men being ogled by fifteen-year-old girls"
I mean I won't know until I watch it. I thought I'd like Restaurant to Another World and then I watched it

That’s the same problem I have while reading this webcomic called Appetite. It has the dynamic that I love in spades but it suffers from those problems. The girl is really tomboyish and the guy is buff...even though he’s crippled. That makes even less sense. It even confused Mom. And due to the girl’s appearance I thought it was a yaoi at first and honestly I’m still not convinced that it isn’t

I don’t think it’s your thing unless you like thirty-seven-ye..."
It’s called something like Gate. Just look up Gate anime and Google should do the rest for you.

Does that sound right?

And then I came back to school and realized the test wasn’t going to be until May. It was our final. And I had already read the entire book while the rest of my class hadn’t even started it yet

Nonetheless I’m nervous because this fanfic sounds incredibly well-written and complex and it’s also a crossover with a series I haven't seen.
But the other one I have both seen and read and it looks like that is what the request is asking for. I really don’t want to mess up my first request.
Thank goodness all I have to do is just read it and offer advice/critiques
