We used to when we were younger, but now we've grown really far apart. Damien and I used to literally be thick as thieves, now he barely talks to me and always acts as if I'm bossing him around. I don't think Anastasia will want to talk to me much after everything that's happened to her recently....which just leaves Samantha, which Mom and my aunt think we can connect just because we have the same mental disorder. But Samantha is nine, and I am not. And then there's Breydan, but he's only a year old...

Exactly. I'm the oldest child in my family on both sides, so I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I want an older brother to protect me, and I want a niece or nephew really badly!! Nobody's ever written the role for an older sister.

Like there's barely any famous older sisters in the media. Meanwhile almost every character I'm thinking of currently is an older brother or has one.
OhAela is the oldest child who looks out for her little sister. Does that count?

Did you have any ideas? Since off the top of my head I can't think of any. I can't even think of a species I haven't done yet that's not a werewolf. But I don't want it to be just like Aela and Cecile, you know? I want her to be protective of her younger brother for a different reason.

I can't think of any species for our characters to be, and I don't want them to be a werewolf. Or a wolf-shifter.
They can just be regular humans. They don't need special powers. Unless you wamt them to have powers?
Humans are pretty boring though, and besides, in our other collab they're regular humans too. So I want to do something else.

I can't think of any off the top of my head...I'd say a Japanese god or goddess but they don't mate with humans.

A little bit of both. Japanese gods don't really interact with humans. They definitely affect humans though, and almost all of the stories about the gods explain why humans act the way that they do, or why the sun and moon are in different times, or why thunderstorms happen and stuff like that. But there are no flat-out stories of gods having children with humans. The closest things I can think of are onis, or Japanese demons. But children born to an oni are known to be....temperamental, to say the least.
I meant like a law sayinf "Thou shalt not mate eith mortals" or something bat that works too :p So maybe not that.What other pantheons are you familiar with?
It's probably frowned upon, but the Japanese gods consider themselves above humans anyway and wouldn't sink to their level. Uhhhh...the Lithuanian pantheon, but that's pretty shady....not even the Lithuanians themselves know much since they threw out all that knowledge in the 1500's when they converted to Christianity. It wasn't until the 1800's did Lithuanian historians start trying to dig that information up, and there's still not a lot of information...but from what I know those gods didn't mate with mortals either.

Hmmmm....nature powers? Like they can grow plants really fast, and fertilize them and stuff, and attack with vines and stuff.
I think it'd be fitting if she's a goddess, especially if she's also going to represent fertility :P
But how would the fertility work with her children, I wonder...
Her children would be more fertile? Like the daughter would be able to have babies easier and her son would be able to impregnate girls easier.

Some women just get pregnant a lot easier than others do. Like they're just more...fertile. It's easier for a sperm to get caught. Really fertile women are also more likely to have twins and triplets.

How old did you want them to be? After all, fertility doesn't really develop when you come of age, it's just something that's there. It's part of your body. Like I could be incredibly fertile, but I wouldn't know until I actually had kids.
I have no idea how old I want them to be. I thought you had an idea, since you wanted to see a big sister/little brother thing. Is there a certain age gap you like?
