I find it interesting how it's coming out in May around the same time as the live-action Aladdin. Reminds me of a few years ago when Kong: Skull Island came out around the same time as the live-action Beauty and the Beast. I can't help but think that's pretty bad marketing. People normally aren't interested in those kinds of movies and then you have to release them around the same time as Disney movies???? Thank goodness there was some box-office miracle for Kong: Skull Island and it made all of its money back so we can get Godzilla VS Kong in a few years. Right as it made its money back though, Beauty and the Beast kicked it right out of the #1 spot

I didnt think they made different posters for moviesAnd honestly I think it could compete with how mixed the LA movies have been. Amd if they're foing Aladdin, without Robin Williams...
They do, especially if there's multiple characters or events in it. I guess we'll just have to see what happens. This movie will definitely do a lot better than Kong: Skull Island I'm willing to bet, but I still feel like it won't make a ton of money.

Really? Everyone I know praised it highly and said it was a welcome addition to the Monsterverse and was a welcome, loving letter to the 1970's. they also mentioned how excited they were for the eventual Godzilla VS Kong movie

Since we're on the subject, I also looked up Diabolik Lovers on AO3 and was pleasantly surprised to see YuixKanato fics on there since FanFiction.net currently still has none. There weren't a lot on AO3 but sometimes I'll take what I can get. All of the ones I managed to find portrayed Kanato as being extremely abusive and non-con. Now hear me out on this. I know that YuixKanato is an abusive relationship. All of the relationships in Diabolik Lovers are, that's sort of the point. I'm not asking for people to write the ship as being sugary-sweet because it's not. Kanato's good ending features Yui being brainwashed into being devoted to him and his loyal, blissful servant. That's pretty bad.
But what is true about Kanato is that he's pretty misunderstood. Sure, he's abusive but he's acting out purposefully simply because he's never been taught any other way. As the games go on, he starts to lose his abusive streak and instead just act like a spoiled child. He's ready to throw his life on the line for Yui after they become the Vampire King and Queen and does just that a few times. Yes he's a yandere but he's one of the few yanderes who gets a chance at redemption and actually has more under their surfaces than just craziness.
But a lot of those fanfics didn't seem to understand that and just portrayed Kanato as being a really abusive lover and Yui trying desperately to get away from him. In the actual game Yui is defiant and tries to break down his walls because she knows there's more to him than just his outer abusive. Kanato is the only character from that series who gets treated that way and it's annoying because there are worse characters in Diabolik Lovers. Kanato isn't one of the worst in my opinion.
I was looking for some really good, beautiful, and sexy YuixKanato fanfics since they're the only ship of that kind I have and they desperately deserve the love...but nothing there. I guess I'll just return to the game for my YuixKanato fix

That's sixty bucks a day. That's more than I make and when I worked 5 days a week I made around $580 after taxes.With an extra dollar every hour that'll add up tk even more.

A speech teacher aide. don't know if I'll actually get it or not though. I wanted it because I know the teacher I'll be working for and you get to travel to other schools in the district to help so you don't have to see the same kids every day

Yeah, an aide for a speech teacher. Someone who helps you talk better? I had one for many years even though my only real problem is that I oftentimes talk too fast for others to understand. But I didn't mind having one because I got to get out of class for free and play games with other special-ed kids. One of my favourite memories was in high school when I played Apples to Apples with a deaf girl who knew sign language. Made that game really interesting. I'm just hesitant because it looks like they'll reject me since I don't have experience. That's why I didn't apply for a lot of the teacher aide jobs, but Mom told me to apply for as many as I can anyway because the worst thing they can say is no.

Speech aide for like, people that have trouble saying words or get nervous and dont talk much or what? I agree with your mom. Apply while you can and if they say no just move on to somewhere else. That's what I'm doing
People who have problems with speech in general because of mental issues. Like someone with autism who either can't talk at all or can only talk very simply.

The speech teacher aide was the only para job available at a school that wasn't Bloomington High School South or one of the elementary schools. I have nothing against them, but I don't know where half of the elementary schools are and South is too much of a hassle to get to daily due how far it is(I'm going to have to ride the bus to where-ever I work) The speech teacher aide is at my old middle-school which is a few blocks away from our house so I can easily walk there
I know the speech teacher aide has to travel from school to school...but I'll deal with that if I actually get the job

I wonder what would be the best publishing company for me to sign with? I've been considering Bloomsbury for a long time now but I've also been looking into HarperTeens. But I need more than just two. I want to look into as many options as I can to see which company is right for me

The fact this game named a female girl 'Yamato Nadeshiko' just proves to me they have no idea what the Japanese words mean and just wanted to give the Japanese girl a Japanese name
'Yamato Nadeshiko' basically means a perfect and idealized Japanese woman. It is not a name. The only time I have ever seen it used as a name was in Shugo Chara and that seemed to be a joking thing. It's usually used to describe a character, like Akeno from Highschool DxD is a very good example of this trope. Chihiro from Danganronpa was also called this but again, that seems to be an ironic usage of it My point is that is literally means 'perfect woman' and therefore shouldn't be used seriously as a name. It is made up of an old name for Japan 'yamato' and 'nadeshiko' is a very dainty and pretty pink Japanese flower
