I finally redid my page after I had gotten hacked. It was really annoying and I couldn't even remember most of what I had originally put down, hence why I held off on doing it until now. All I can remember is that I put my own personal preferences there and that if people had a problem with it they should just quietly leave me alone because I got a lot of people friending me over that. I also remember putting that my favourite pandemic was cholera because a ton of people friended me over that because they found it to be funny, same with my favourite animal being the platypus or loving macaroni and cheese despite being lactose-intolerant. But I think I've put everything down now. I also added in some new things to see if I get more friends with them lol
Me: "I started reading some more of that book again! Since you stopped reading it to me I decided to take care of things myself," Mom: "That's wonderful! You're such a fast reader, what part are you at right now?"
Me: "....Sorry wrong number!"
I am a bit miffed that people think global climate change means only worse summers and summer weather. I believe that not only will we have to deal with hotter summers, but colder and harsher winters as well. Many of our recent winters on record have been some of the coldest on record with consequences that could very easily become long-term if we keep ignoring them. In fact, I think harsher winters would be even worse for society not just for obvious health reasons, but because food wouldn't grow, power and heating would get knocked out by stronger storms, cars wouldn't start, etc. And people have told me that extremely cold winters have already existed in history, which is true. But so have things like heat waves and powerful hurricanes. Things like Hurricane Patricia and Typhoon Tip definitely have existed. But the point is not the fact that they have existed in the past, the point is that they are getting worse and worse and far more frequent. And the same can most certainly be said for our winters. I sincerely think it won't be the global warming that kills us off, it'll be the global cooling because we forgot to prepare for it.
That's true. Winters have been getting harsher and severe weather more frequent. And other disasters too, like hurricanes and tornadoes.And saying global warming isn't real because it's cold is idiotic. That doesn't mean that it's never getting cold. The Earth STILL tilts on its axis, thus we get less sunlight, thus less heat and lower temperatures. But when summer DOES come, more of the heat stays. Just look at satellite images of the ice caps. They get smaller and smaller as the years pass.
And saying global warming isn't real because it's cold would be like me saying famine isn't real because I ate so much my stomach hurt.
It's not people saying global warming doesn't exist because it's cold(though that certainly is a problem too) but more of people not acknowledging how bad these recent winters have been. They just say 'oh it's winter. winter is always bad' Yeah but has it ever been so bad sharks freeze in the ocean? Or steam rises from the Great Lakes? Or temperatures remain in the negatives with even lower wind chills for weeks on end? It's true that winter can be unpredictable but these last few winters have been proven many times over to be worse than normal and I feel like that's a cause for concern, knowing what winter does to modern conveniences.
Not to mention how widespread they are. I think that's the kicker; widespread extreme cold for most of the world, not just one country or even continent. Widespread heat waves are always cause for concern, why not widespread cold snaps?
I know a lot of people who say global warming doesn't exist because it's cold. So they're not trying to do something about EITHER problem, global warming *or* freezing, which is even worse IMO.I think that global warming left unchecked will make the effects of global freezing worse. If the seas rise and millions of people are displaced, where are they supposed to go? What will happen when they freeze and can't find a place to live? What will happen to the waters, ever reaching towards us?
Both things happen naturally. I'm not sure if humans accelerate the freezing and if we do then how, but we *are* accelerating the melting of the ice caps, with our pollution and raising of cattle.

I saw a person on FanFiction.net who was extremely adamant about and kept saying over and over again, all in huge capital letters, that they would not write incest because they didn't like it and found it to be wrong. I bring this up not to mock them, but because I am genuinely very confused. Everytime they write something involving siblings, they warn that it doesn't have incest in it. I just have to ask what part of the Internet they're from where they think people writing about incest and shipping incestuous things is extremely common. Everywhere I go on the Internet, people are disgusted by incest. It's one of the universal taboos, is it not? It's the reason so many people refuse to ship stuff like ElizabethxCiel from Black Butler. It's the reason people have problems with stuff like Brothers Conflict(even though that isn't actually incest) I have seen all kinds of shows and books and games that will do every single thing in their power to make you ship an incestuous ship, usually brother/sister and people just will not because they find it gross.
So I don't know what this person is trying to do by announcing that at the top of their lungs. I can understand people not wanting to ship stuff that's abusive or whatever, but isn't it kind of a no-brainer that nobody wants to ship incest? And nobody goes into a story about siblings and thinks to themselves 'oh wow these siblings have such a great relationship, I ship them hardcore romantically'
And yes, I am well aware that there are people out there that will ship stuff like siblings together. I am in no way denying that, especially since I ship stuff like CardiaxFinis from Code;Realize. However, I do realize incest in general is pretty gross and morally wrong, and would never perform it in real life. And the few people that ship fictional siblings together usually tend to do it for an actual reason aside from 'they're siblings and that's hot'
That profile really confused me and I just had to get my thoughts out on that matter.
Also, I know there are more types of incest than just brother/sister. I just used that as an example because that's the most common type of incestuous ship that gets shipped among all of the things I have seen.

Exactly, and the people who do write fanfics that show a romantic or sexual incestuous relationship do have the sense to put an incest warning for those who don't wish to see that. Because as I said, the amount of people who find incest gross and wrong far outnumber those who don't, and I bet even the people who ship fictional family members together know that real-life incest is gross and immoral and illegal.
This goes back to my views on how society is stupid and we don't care about extreme violence nearly as much as the slightest sexual stuff. It's just ridiculous. Killing and incest are both illegal but few people seem to care about violence in stories.
I have no idea if this is relevant or not but the person was a Christian. Which I think might've been part of the reason why they were acting like everyone on the Internet is some sort of really incest-hungry deviant when in reality nobody on the Internet is. not even I'm like that and I have incest as a fetish of mine

Danganronpa Talentswap!AU SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST GAME INVOLVING THREE DEATHS. ALSO SPOILERS FOR THE BACKSTORY OF TWO CHARACTERS
Programmer/Hacker!Celestia: She refers to herself as Taeko Yasuhiro but her screen-name/Alter-Ego is named Celestia. She has her red eyes and black hair, however her hair is worn short. She wears black leggings, black Converse, a glittery purple sweatshirt, and a purple headband in her hair. She still has a dream of owning a castle with servants and thus uses her programming ability for evil rather than good. She uses her programming prowess to hack into banks and the accounts of rich people. she's still really selfish and self-absorbed. She believes just because she's a programmer doesn't mean she has to look dirty or shabby and thus always wears the finest clothes in tip-top material. Taeko became a programmer because her family was too poor to provide her with very much. They just had a computer they all shared. Taeko spent almost every waking moment on that computer, finding a painting program and messing around with it. Her parents didn't really discover her talent until one day when Taeko was sent home from school, suspended because she had figured out how to hack into the school's mainframe and changed her grades into better ones. Her parents tried to cultivate her hacker side into something good and beneficial to others, seeing as how it wouldn't go away, but Taeko was unfazed and begun turning to seedier outlets to hack into to steal their money. Hope's Peak Academy has discovered her talent and has given her the title of Ultimate Programmer. She goes to great lengths to hide her poor background, but cares very little if one discovers it. The only thing she cares about is manipulating others using her talent. She created Alter-Ego Celestia out of boredom and her classmates find the A.I. hidden in her room, shoved under her bed. The A.I. is curious but feisty and only takes orders from certain people. It has a huge obsession with fashion. Taeko still commits murder and her execution is getting strapped into an electrical chair. She is tied down and has to find a way to hack into the chair to prevent a countdown from happening. The countdown is a timer to when she'll get electrocuted. Of course, she can't figure it out and ends up getting electrocuted. Her execution is called 'Taeko's Fried Brains; The Execution of the Ultimate Programmer'
Gambler!Chihiro/Serenity: Serenity Bavaria is a very shy and timid girl. She loves fancy things and Victorian ideals, like tea parties and frilly dresses. Her dream is to have a castle filled with servants and a handsome, rich, husband, preferably someone her parents choose for her. She has very straight light brown hair that falls in waves to her shoulders and matching brown eyes. She wears a pale green and yellow tea-gown with a wide hoop-skirt, white lacy tights, green Mary-Janes, white lacy gloves, a yellow choker, and a fancy sun-hat tied under her chin with a yellow ribbon. Due to how timid and sheltered she is, she often cries when faced with aggression or meanness; she is unused to such things. However, her eyes light up and she can talk endlessly about her gambling stories. She also likes to speak of her childhood and her loving parents; two Germans who gifted her with her beautiful name, Serenity Bavaria. She can be very nice and polite to pretty much everyone, holding her tongue when she's supposed to.
.........However, after being murdered by Heir!Mondo, the truth about Serenity comes into light. Serenity was actually just a crossdressing boy who was told from an early age to 'man up' and stop dreaming about princes and castles. Distraught, Serenity hid behind a false persona and acted like a perfect Victorian maiden, like the one from his dreams. Mondo killed him in a fit of rage after Serenity confessed this to him, remembering how he had to take on his brother's persona after he accidentally killed him. Mondo didn't like how Serenity was just 'playing around' with their identity. Not only was Serenity Bavaria a boy, but that wasn't even his true name; he was actually named Chihiro Fujisaki.
I'd love for someone to make a sprite edit or even just fanart of these two. I don't think I've ever seen a Programmer!Celestia and it's such a fun idea to ponder. I've been thinking about writing a CelestiaxChihiro fanfic for a while now with their talents swapped. Of course their fates would remain the same, but still. I know the Gambler!Chihiro might be a bit too elaborate for most people, but I'd still love to see someone at least attempt.
I have far too much time on my hands, I made such an elaborate Talentswap!AU for my two most favourite characters. I'm also working on a Talentswap!AU for the second game featuring Gamer!Sonia and Princess!Chiaki. I see Princess!Chiaki a lot, actually, but no Gamer!Sonia so that'd be interesting.
Can we please just leave me alone and let me have the one transgender headcanon I have and will probably ever have instead of yelling at me and calling me names? I am so sick of this hypocrisy when other peoples' headcanons are seen as being valid and then mine isn't.
Should I go outside today? I'll be going on a thirty-forty minute walk. The temperature dropped incredibly fast; it's now in the thirties but feels like the twenties. It's windy and I'm super worried about there being really low wind chills especially after it gets dark. I'm also concerned because I've seen from 2017's winter how quickly the wind chill can drop and become deadly; I would walk to the library in chilly weather with no wind chill warning or anything and then by the time I arrived at the library, an hour later there'd be a wind chill warning or advisory or whatever. I'm worried about that happening today with how fast the wind is blowing. Plus I'm not going to the library today, I'll be going to the store so I have no way of checking that. So should I risk it?

This probably makes me sound ignorant or something but I think I love snow too much to leave. I hate literally everything about the winter except the snow. But the thing is, it doesn't need to be that cold for it to snow, and indeed we're not predicted to get any snow for the remainder of this week
I saw a video last night where professional makeup artists showed what deadly diseases looked like on your body and I anticipated it when I originally clicked on the video but I really wish they had done cholera. If they could do tuberculosis, which doesn't change your outer appearance very much aside from watery eyes and blushy cheeks, then they surely could've done cholera. Especially since they did both bubonic plague and yellow fever, so I know they could've done a disease that changes your skin colour! It gives you sunken-in eyes, bluish skin, and your hands often get wrinkly in more severe cases and your skin loses elasticity

And if you're referring to them having high amounts of foodborne illness, not even they know why; they don't know if it's their position in the world, if it's the type of food they eat, if it's because they have a lot of older people compared to other nations, or some combination. Either way, it embarrasses them and they tend to not talk very much about it. I don't really think visitors have much to worry about though; really the only cause for concern would be if some kind of natural disaster happened while you were visiting like a flood or tornado because those sorts of things knock out the Japanese water systems so fast.
I remember reading that this summer, or last summer I guess when we had that bad heat-wave a lot of people in Japan either died from dehydration or died because they didn't have any clean drinking water. There has been recent outbreaks of cholera in Japan too and they had a really deadly outbreak there as recently as 1973. But I really don't think there's anything to worry about, it's not like some nations where you have to be mindful of literally every drop of water and everything you eat. But at the same time I think a small bit of caution could be useful.
