I’m sick again....I’ve been throwing up all day and my stomach hurt really bad. I’ve been throwing up since Midnight and I haven’t puked for three or four hours now and my stomach doesn’t hurt as bad so I’m hoping it’s finally over....

Well, my dad was one of the people who got to see it air on TV for the first and last time. I forgot how exactly the conversation came up but I mentioned it at one point and Dad was like: "The Star Wars Christmas special?! I saw that on TV when I was about ten! All I really remember about it was for some reason Art Carney was friends with Chewbacca's family and gave them presents for this holiday called Life Day. I was really excited to watch it when I heard about it because of course I really liked the first movie so I tuned in to watch it. To this day I still have no idea what the hell I watched,"
Lol I'm proud of that fact though. I feel like not a lot of people can truthfully say that one of their parents watched that special back in the day.
I think wr watched part of it on YouTube but turned it off because our eyes were bleedinguhh figuratively of course

You know you're going to be in for a turbulent morning when your baby brother is being punished for sleeping in and missing his bus and a police detective is at the door wanting to speak to your mom

The police detective? I'm not really sure how he found out about this, I guess my middle brother called the police or something, but basically they were investigating this sexbot on FaceBook who has been posing as people the victim knows and blackmailing them into taking and sending nudes, and my middle brother was one of their targets. The account has gotten deleted though, so the detective ended up at a dead end. Luckily though my brother won't go to jail since he's an adult, and the account was a bot one anyway, it seems, from overseas.

Yeah the detective informed my mom of the situation and what had happened and what they planned on doing. Yeah my middle brother is an adult; he's eighteen. I just never talk about him because he's boring lol

In this year of 2019 can we please stop writing 'historical fantasy' books where it's almost all entirely fantasy and the only thing that makes it 'historical' is someone having to wear a corset in a pseudo-medieval world? Seriously. Stuff like this is part of the reason why historical fiction isn't doing so good right now, I'm willing to bet. I realllly wanna see a historical fantasy novel where it's definitely fantasy, but it's also historically-accurate to the setting too. And can we please start doing other time periods aside from the Middle Ages? It wasn't the only time period that was really spiritual and mysterious. I still wanna see a historical fantasy about Japan's Edo Period. But there are other Western time periods to pick from too.
In fact, while we're on the subject, can we also please stop making historical fantasy books about pandemics where the only pandemic you pick is the bubonic plague? Especially because the books that do it tend to be modeled after the British Empire and from what I remember, I don't think they had any widespread outbreaks of the plague after that whole 'Black Death' thing. Russia had an outbreak of bubonic plague in the 1770's, but I wouldn't even want to read that because bubonic plague is so done. I know people pick it because it's really scary and you fester and rot, but do you know another really scary disease that also makes you look like a corpse? Cholera
But if you're going to do cholera, then please for the love of all that is holy study up on the symptoms and stop trying to make it into a 'pretty' historical disease where you cough, feel faint and have a fever. It spreads misinformation and it just isn't right anyway

At least it'd be more interesting than bubonic plague. I understand what they're going for, they want a disease that involves zombies or vampires because a lot of those books are about necromancy. but I still think cholera is the way to go with that. Vampires in Eastern Europe are often described as looking like cholera victims; sunken-in eyes and blue skin. In fact a few books written back in the 1800's that were about people coming back from the dead, either as a monster or because they were accidentally buried alive, was all due to cholera.

I entered one of those thingys in a fandom group on FaceBook where basically the host writes a story, but everyone has to write their own version of the ending with a character they like. I was a bit late on entering simply because one of the requirements was to post a picture of your character and I wasn’t able to find a good one until recently but I digress. I wanted to try something different and write about a character I’ve never really written about for a while because I wanted to try something different plus everyone was expecting to go with the ship I usually tend to write in this fandom. I wanted to surprise everyone. I anticipated not getting as much attention as the other entries as they all wrote fan-favourites and characters that others loved and wanted to see while nobody liked the character I picked, but I didn’t even get any recognition. Not even the host of the thing commented on my entry when she commented on literally everyone else’s! And she’s not even busy because she’s been off work for the past week.
I guess at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter but still. I didn’t predict being completely and utterly ignored by everyone even the host, I have no chance of winning and I shouldn’t have picked a minor character only I genuinely like. Serves me right for trying to do something different I guess. Or even just entering this thing at all.
My mom is really mad and started to rant about how all we ever do is take from her and never give, so until we shape up and start acting perfect for the next three months, she’ll just stop taking ‘our bullshit’ and punish us until we learn. As if I can act like that for three months; she’s making it so I’m unable to be upset in any way even if it’s for a legitimate reason!!! She won’t even let me talk to her. I’m upset at her too; two can play at this game. And even if I follow her rules and act perfectly, my brothers sure as hell won’t and will ruin it for me. So I have to ask myself, what’s even the point? And she then told me if I wanna talk to people about stuff I have to make some friends. As if people my age wanna make friends. And the friends I do have I don’t really want to talk to 24/7 for various reasons. My mom is just a much more interesting person to talk to even if she has no idea what is going on. But I have yet to find a friend like that. Well fine. Like I said two can play at this game. Earlier she made me get the broom and right as I was coming out of the closet with it she screamed at me ‘stop taking your sweet time!!! when I tell you to do something, you do it!!!!’ I wanted to throw the broom right on the floor and just storm out of there

Mom got me some Japanese gummies and I finally got around to eating them. I'm just worried about getting sick from them though because you have to make them yourself and a lot of them came out with absolutely no shape even though I followed the directions. Like the spaghetti refused to solidify properly and so when it came time to squeeze it out, it all fell out in clumps. And the rice-ball wouldn't form at all; the black powder just clumped onto it instead of forming the face it needed to. Mom told me it'll be fine because it was a set made for children, and they smell the way they're supposed to, they just don't look the way they do. But I'm still concerned. Japan isn't one of the nations with the highest cases of foodborne-illness for no reason
i kinda am. working and allI've never heard abouy that but I know little of Japanese dishes other than they eat raw fish and sometimes PUFFERFISH
