Surely it can't be that hard to make a document in Paint, make it be all pink and sparkly or whatever, and put some Google-searched images of my favourite characters on there? And maybe some vodka bottles or something similar because hey, twenty-one now
I wish I could find the original version of that meme where it has someone saying something like: "I agree with all versions of this!" Then someone walks up and says something related to the topic that the first person disagrees with, and then it shows them loading up a gun with a smile on their face. It's hard to explain exactly but it's really useful to me but I haven't been able to find it at all and I don't know the meme's name or anything.
If you want to make my mom laugh really hard tell her one of those memes where it's like 'when you invite your girl over to play bionicles but then she starts taking her clothes off'
It's different variations on a boy inviting a girl to play Bionicles at his house only to have her take her clothes off or try to initiate sex with him and his negative response towards it because he legit just wanted to play with his Bionicles
I don't know why but it reminds me of something I saw on Yahoo Answers that said: "I dunno what to do, my girlfriend keeps trying to unzip my pants whenever we're alone; I'm twelve and she's fourteen and every time I try to ask her what she's doing she just shushes me and tells me it's a surprise I'll love, what does she mean??" Lol
My mom told me that she feels like that's how I picture those ships of mine where it's the popular dominant girl with the shy awkward guy about to give them their first sexual experience lol
Oh I found a song that perfectly fits those three ships of mine and I'm soooo happy I found it since I like never find stuff that fits ships like that lol
Since some of my friends are starting to get into Danganronpa maybe I should stop posting spoilers for the games on my journal. ....BUT I FOUND A REALLY GOOD FANART OF CELESTIA I WANNA PUT IN HERE BUT IT'S SLIGHTLY SPOILER-Y
My mom once again brought up the question of why fantasy novels, when they bring the topic of disease and pandemics into their stories, it's always bubonic plague or some form of it. She wanted to see more fantasy novels that used cholera as a pandemic partially so she can see characters in cholera masks. I told her I think it's several reasons. First of all, almost all fantasy takes place in a pseudo-medieval world, and bubonic plague was the disease that ravaged people back then. Cholera is very firmly a Victorian disease, but even then, it only was a public health issue for places like England for a few years, which is where a lot of Victorian fantasy novels take place in.
Secondly, bubonic plague seems like such a....fantasy disease, for lack of a better word. It seems really aesthetic with the plague doctors and the 'medicine' used to treat it. I don't mean to sound insensitive, but I genuinely think a lot of people believe the idea of bubonic plague to be attractive because of the aesthetic image it provides. I mean, what is more romantic than doctors dressed in full-body leather bleeding you with leeches? Now compare that to the image of yourself in a bejeweled mask having a cork shoved up your anus to stop the flow of diarrhea. Not very romantic, huh?
Thirdly, I think it goes back to the whole 'cholera isn't as well-known' thing. Most people have heard of it, but shrug it off as something similar to typhoid or tuberculosis, which isn't good because saying things like 'cholera causes a fever' is misinformation.
It's actually a bit ironic people don't think cholera is romantic or aesthetic, as back in the day it was actually called 'the love disease'. Europeans considered death to be a beautiful thing until cholera arrived and swiftly proved them wrong. I think that alone could be a fascinating topic for a book, fantasy or not.
But I don't think it matters at the end of the day. Mom has challenged me to put a reference to cholera in every single one of my works, including my contemporary novels, and I am more than happy to do so. I even put cholera in some of my fanfics. The world deserves to know more about this disease; doctors are correct when they list it as a 'neglected tropical disease'
i imagine the plague as something more terrifying, almost demonic in a way. The way your skin blackens and grows bubbles that can burst, spreading the disease...that's almost right out of a horror movie or some other fantastical event. Why did they think of death as beautiful? Especially after the plague ravaged them centuries ago. Surely *that* made them think death could be terrifying?
Exactly, which is why it's probably used in fantasy novels a lot. Cholera just....makes you vomit and have bad diarrhea that smells like fish. It's not that terrifying in comparison. Although the way you look when you become severely dehydrated is pretty terrifying....but still, it's not as scary as the plague I would imagine. I think it's that whole 'plague ravaged us centuries ago' The people in the Victorian Era hadn't experienced it and while I'm sure records of it existed, people likely romanticized it because they hadn't experienced it, if you get what I'm saying. They felt like it was something in their past and they romanticized a lot of stuff from that era anyway.

There are. I need mine specifically if I want to go to college or get a job. You also need one to get into bars or clubs. But I just want mine because my college will not let you become an official student unless you have an I.D.
I feel like out of all the anime personality types I specifically fit into the 'kuudere' type. I've always felt like this. Do I seem like one? A kuudere is basically 'cold on the outside, sweet on the inside' meaning most of the time they're really cold and unconcerned about things, but around people they're close to they become very warm and sweet. It's considered to be the opposite of a tsundere which is 'hot on the outside, sweet on the inside'
Ah. I thoight a license of sorts would serve that purpose of ID. I use it for IDI would have thought the opposite of tsundere would be someone that acts nice to someone but on the inside hates them.
Maybe I need this specific I.D. because I don't have a drivers' license? I don't know, I don't question these things, I just do them. I don't make the rules. I think it's because one is cold on the outside like ice, and the other is heated on the outside like fire.
I got stuck in the never-ending loop of listening to DDR songs and it gives me memories back to fifth and sixth grade when my gym class did a unit with DDR. I remember in fifth grade and it was announced that would be our next unit in gym, and I could not believe my ears. It HAD to be a catch. But when I walked into the gym that morning, four huge DDR machines were set up in the room, two for my class and two for the other class. And it was like, the real DDR. And everyone on my team was convinced the second I stepped up to the mat, I would make us lose, but the instant my chance came, I blew literally everyone out of the water. I was actually upset when it was another one of my team members' turns because they ended up messing up the really huge combos I got and stuff.
My team won the DDR unit both years, all because of me. To this day I'm extremely proud of that achievement. I played it constantly back at home too because I had it on the Wii.
Me: "Just because you just finished a request involving dancing doesn't mean you have to put erotic dancing in ALL of your fics! Especially because this current ship wouldn't really get involved in something like that!" Also Me: "Have :) The :) Girl :) Pole-dance :) For :) Her :) Date :)"
I'm honestly probably not going to do it because it doesn't really fit the characters' personalities. Like the guy is too nice and respectful and the girl gets annoyed by perverted stuff. She would only do it for this guy if her leader ordered her to, but she hasn't, so she's not going to lol Plus I don't think it would fit in the story.
I took an anime personality quiz and this was my result lol: You got: Kawaiiko
Aww. You look like a Kawaiiko. I guess that's not such a bad thing. Wait, you're not at an age where that's going to be weird are you? You really enjoy wearing frilly clothing, and acting as cute as you possibly can. Again, how old are you? Should I still be talking to you, or distancing myself from you at this point?
See the full list of personalities: http://imgur.com/gallery/yCJO1zx
Does it fit? I thought I would probably get himedere to be honest.
An AU? Where the girl doesn't have to listen to her leader just so she'll dance? What a waste of an AU lol

Right now in the fanfic the two of them are just sitting down to lunch and are embarrassed because their waitress is their leader's best friend and right-hand woman sent by their leader to make sure their date is going well haha
Thank goodness I finally found a picture that actually fit in the round icon thingy. I really wanted a picture of how they look in the game. I don't even really like this image anyway but eh whatever.
Hey, it seems like you might be a Kuudere. Are you happy? I can't tell. You're not angry are you? Seriously, you should probably say something cause I honestly can't tell. Joy, rage, fear, these are all expressions which will never show on your face. No matter the situation, you always keep your composure. For better or worse, it's impossible to tell what you're thinking just by looking at you.
I don't think it sounds very accurate to be honest. Maybe you are in real life but on the Internet you seem very emotional and wear your heart on your sleeve. For me at least it's easy to tell what you're thinking. Don't take that as an insult though.
I don't know, I didn't get a chance to look at all of the personality types. The ones I already know don't really match you so you're probably an obscure one lol
