I swear I'm going crazy, NWS Indianapolis originally had a category on their homepage that summarized the severe storms last weekend but they deleted it yesterday? But then it was back this morning? But now it's gone again and it's not under any of the previous severe weather summaries. What the heck? I'd ask them about it but the last time I asked them an actual important question they seemed really annoyed at me so I'm not going to bother them again over this lol

First One: Not One of Us(Hetalia fanfic)
1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?
It's honestly not written in any specific style. I decided to write it originally because I love the strip Lithuania's Out-Sourcing Series and felt like I could expand on it and add stuff like a language barrier. Plus I'm always up for writing fanfics that are from the point of view from a character people don't write in a way that lets us get inside their head, even though this fanfic is written in third person.
2: What scene did you first put down?
It started with a scene of a down-trodden Lithuania, or Toris, stuck out in the rain in shabby clothes that once were really splendid and fancy. While that scene isn't technically in the fanfic, that is where part of the idea came from.
3: What's your favorite line of narration?
Everything had somehow managed to go horribly, horribly, wrong. The turn of the century was, for him at least, good. Sure, there was that whole Great War thing, but it soon ended and everything was fine. Until Ivan kicked all of his nations out of his Empire, cutting them off financially. Then Toris got into a war with Feliks, then Ivan. And then, he became bankrupt in every meaning of the word.
4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?
"This? A cup."
"No, he means what's inside the cup,"
5: What part was hardest to write?
The ending. It's always the ending; I have trouble ending my fanfics properly and I really dislike the original ending of Lithuania's Out-Sourcing Series so I tried to stray away from it in my fic as far as possible. I'm ultimately happy with what I ended up with.
6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?
Not only was it the first Hetalia fanfic I had written(technically finished) in almost a year, but it was my first experience with rewriting canon material to show what a character in that situation was doing and thinking, which is becoming increasingly common in my fanfics.
7: Where did the title come from?
The title is Not One of Us, which is from The Lion King 2. To be honest I just thought the song title fit the theme of the story, and almost all of my fanfics are named after song lyrics or song titles, so....
8: Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?
Lithuania's Out-Sourcing Series inspired it, which is a strip in Hetalia talking about how in the 1920's, Lithuania had become so poor from various events that a lot of people were starving and such. So a lot of them immigrated to New York and even today a third of New York City's population is Lithuanian. So in a way, yes I guess? Lol
9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?
No. What you read is exactly what I had in mind from the getgo.
10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?
Because I love AmeriLiet and it's pretty underappreciated? I want to see more stuff for them and while the ship isn't the main part of this fic
11: What do you like best about this fic?
Probably the setting? I don't talk about it much but I'm a huge
12: What do you like least about this fic?
I feel like I could've given America a better personality? I don't like how at first he was really snobbish and prejudiced even though that was the point of the fic. I also felt like I could've made less sanitation jokes.
13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?
The soundtrack to The Great Gasby, of course! Especially Young and Beautiful, I think I looped that for five or six straight hours while I worked. I was almost considering renaming the fic to that.
14: Is there anything you wanted readers to learn from reading this fic?
Not really. It wasn't really meant to be educational. Some of my fics are but this one really wasn't. It was just supposed to be fun, you know?
15: What did you learn from writing this fic?
That Hetalia fanfics are still popular? It blew up really fast when I first posted it.
Second One: Just a Shy Little Scarlet Fox(Black Butler)
1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?
I love Joanne to pieces but barely anyone in the fandom writes a fanfic where he's the main character, if anyone has even done it. So I decided to get inside his head and write about not just his school life, but also his home life which the manga doesn't get into.
2: What scene did you first put down?
The first scene of the fic, where Joanne is trying to do his homework over Winter Break and his sisters barge in and distract him as they tell him all about a circus they went to earlier.
3: What's your favorite line of narration?
What sort of bad things had I done? Lots. I often wished for Cole to get his comeuppance. I envied my sisters greatly, wanting Father's attention. I every so often wished for something bad to happen to Father so that I would be forced to take his role earlier and he would see I was a good match. But I couldn't just admit any of those things. They would seem weird coming out of my mouth. So instead I smiled.
4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?
"Thank you for giving me friends,"
5: What part was hardest to write?
The laxative scene....it wasn't really hard, I just didn't want to do it lol
6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?
It's the longest of my fanfics and it's also one of the very few I have ever written in first-person. Believe it or not I'm not a huge fan of writing fics in that style.
7: Where did the title come from?
There was an old RP blog on Tumblr that focused on Joanne that had that title as their motto. Sadly the blog is dead now, but I thought the title fit him perfectly so I used it myself. (Scarlet Fox is the name of his House at school)
8: Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?
Apparently Joanne himself is an actual Victorian person but I have yet to discover who he is.
9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?
It was originally a lot longer but I managed to condense a lot of what I wanted to say, which is good, since on Word it's already eighty pages long.
10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?
There really isn't any pairing in it, though there's hints of popular ships with Joanne. I myself started to ship EdwardxJoanne because of writing this.
11: What do you like best about this fic?
That it's about Joanne lol. I also like how it's the longest fanfic I've ever written to date(not counting chapters since those are long when you add them all up together)
12: What do you like least about this fic?
I messed up the timeline near the end of the story. It's a minor thing that honestly could've been placed anywhere in the major event, but it annoys me because it's a famous scene and I had to go and mess it up.
13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?
I don't think I was listening to anything in particular while I was writing it, to be honest. Maybe Victorian music or the show's soundtrack?
14: Is there anything you wanted readers to learn from reading this fic?
That Joanne is an amazing character that I would die for? Lol
15: What did you learn from writing this fic?
It's a lot harder to rewrite canon than it looks.
Third One: I Met a Boy and He Made My Doll Heart Light Up with joy(DanganRonpa)
1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?
I didn't want to rewrite canon for this story the same way I did some other recent fics. All I wanted to do was write something really shippy. So it ended up being a collection of 'important' memories to Celestia that she's remembering as she's being burned alive.
2: What scene did you first put down?
Surprisingly, it wasn't the first scene. It was the image of Celestia forcefully brushing through Chihiro's hair because she hates how tangled it is. And somehow the fic grew from that one scene.
3: What's your favorite line of narration?
Despite his appearance, Chihiro was still a man, and she knew what men wanted more than anything else.
4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?
"I have always wanted to name my daughter that. A-And...I think I'd like you to be the mother of that daughter,"
5: What part was hardest to write?
Again, the ending. I had no idea how to end it so I just had the two of them meet up again in Heaven. It surprisingly fits the theme of the game though, so I'm not mad at all.
6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?
It is one of only three fanfics with an actual sex scene in it. In all my other fics it's just been implied.
7: Where did the title come from?
A lyric from one of my favourite songs, Bubblegum Bitch by Marina and the Diamonds. It was originally called 'I'm Gonna Pop Your Bubblegum Heart' but I felt like the current title fit the theme better.
8: Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?
Nope. Though apparently the scene where Celestia gets burned at the stake while being pregnant was in a Stephen King novel because of course it was.
9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?
It originally had a different opening which detailed kinda erotically a spider killing and then eating a weak butterfly that got trapped in its web. I fixed the opening to better reflect the story and now it's a modified version of that famous 'sugar spice' nursery rhyme to fit the two characters.
10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?
Because I ship them and they could always use more love. I don't really like how people pair Celestia with the person she killed and Chihiro with the person who killed him. I think they both deserve much better and Chihiro is one of the few people I could see Celestia not being annoyed by.
11: What do you like best about this fic?
I liked finally putting out what my headcanon about Celestia's past is because I have seen literally no ideas in the fandom about it and she's bound to have an interesting past, so....
12: What do you like least about this fic?
I feel like the scenes could've transitioned smoother? On the one hand it works because it's like she's going over her life before she dies and DanganRonpa often replays memories in a really disjointed way, but on the other hand, does it really work for a written format?
13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?
Again, nothing in particular. Maybe the game's soundtrack?
14: Is there anything you wanted readers to learn from reading this fic?
I hope they picture those two characters in a different light now when they play the games, like what was going on behind the scenes with them. I also hope I shed some light on Celestia too.

That DanganRonpa is still popular? Like this fic is still blowing up gosh.
My mom hates Vines but she likes when people put the Vines she hates with anime characters which I don't understand. It would be one thing if she just hated Vines in any format but she doesn't, yet she goes on all of these huge rants about it like she's expecting my feelings to get hurt or something. It's just really weird to me.
Which one of the cosplays is better? They're both super good but I'm partial to the one at the bottom because it fits the game better

What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?*
I just don't understand the logic behind ShinoaxMitsuba as a ship because people claim they ship it because of how much she teases Mitsuba and grabs her breasts and such. Fine, but she does it to other characters in her group like Yoichi and I don't see anybody shipping them. It's just such bizarre and kinda hypocritical reasoning in my book but whatever. It's not like people in my fandoms take me seriously anyway.
Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?*
I'm not sure...I very rarely, if ever, BroTP. It's either I ship something or I don't.
Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?
I don't think so. I have disagreed a lot of times with several people, but I don't really unfollow them because I feel like it's not worth it.
Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?*
I keep talking about USUK but it's the truth. I also really dislike RoChu and a lot of people like them together...to my dismay.
Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*
Yes, I used to ship USUK so hard but the fans ruined the pairing for me. Now I can't look at that ship without feeling ill.
Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?*
I wouldn't say I hated the ship, per say, but for some reason I'm really starting to get into the ship of Leon and Sayaka the more stuff I see of them and I'm resisting the urge so hard because I don't want to be seen as a hypocrite!! They both deserved much better-they don't deserve each other!
Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?*
I don't think I've ever experienced this and I'm glad. No matter how bad my fandoms get, I ride them through.

I've had people tell me I ship unhealthy ships but to be honest a lot of what I ship is far healthier than a lot of other ships in my fandoms. In fact I actively try to avoid any kind of abusive or toxic relationships; I make exceptions if the two become better over time(so please don't yell at me for liking YuixKanato like my mom likes to do) I have also been called 'homophobic' because almost all of my pairings are straight and I don't understand that comment??? I guess because I'm a lesbian but I don't understand why I have to ship only yuri pairings because of it? Especially because I actually have a lot of yuri pairings?
Most disliked character(s)? Why?

Chibiusa is really viciously hated by the Sailor Moon fandom because of how the English dub treated her and a lot of people find her annoying even though I find her to be one of the most mature characters in the series. And a lot of people say Naoko Takeuchi didn't want to even create her. That may be true, it is true actually, but that doesn't give you the right to hate on her. Even Takeuchi didn't hate on her own character in the actual series.
Most disliked arc? Why?
The fourth season of Sailor Moon is incredibly hated for a stupid reason in my opinion. They hate how it was really bright and cheerful(even though it wasn't any more cheery than the rest of the show) and how it focused on Chibiusa(even though the manga focused on her too because she's the focus on the arc in general) The hate for that season is unjustified in my opinion.

I really like the fifth season of Sailor Moon, it's actually my favourite season while the manga arc is my second favourite manga arc. However the fifth season is pretty unpopular with the fans because of how much they changed the story and gave important characters in the manga less screentime. While I do see the problems and honestly get annoyed by them too, I really like how they treated the villains and the final battle. It's not perfect by any means, but I think they did a good job with what they had. Plus that season has some of the strangest and most surreal episodes ever, in my opinion.
Unpopular opinion about XXX character?
I don't really understand the hype around Clayton from Black Butler. I don't hate him, but I don't understand how everyone is acting like he's some great character when he doesn't do very much. Personally I find him to be the most boring of the F5; all the others are far more interesting and eccentric than he is and I know that was likely done on purpose, but still.
Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
I really dislike how in DanganRonpa, almost every ship is 'murderer/murder victim' a lot of them didn't like the person they murdered or at the very least didn't notice them until they decided to kill them. Even if they liked each other prior you are still shipping a murderer with the person they killed and something about that is really icky to me. Imagine if people did that for real murderers and their victims?
Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?
I actually dislike the Hetalia anime. I think FUNimation ruined it even though I like a lot of the voice actors they picked for it.(Same goes for the Japanese version though it's a little bit better than FUNimation's dub) The manga is far better and I hate how a lot of fans disregard it just because it's a manga. It's funnier and has better character development, as well as a bunch of stuff that was never animated and likely never will be.
If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?
I'd make Sailor Moon Crystal a more faithful adaptation of the manga. They got a few things right, but overall it's a huge mess.
Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…
I would've made the Starlights have less of a role in the fifth season of Sailor Moon just like they did in the manga. I don't really hate the Starlights, I just don't understand why they gave them so much screentime when they literally don't do anything in the manga.
Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased?
I think it depends on your reasons for not shipping it. I can understand a lot of the reasons if the ship was ruined for you, if you don't like the characters, it's abusive/toxic, etc. However you are in denial if you only don't ship it because it's popular.
What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?
I really hate how the Seraph of the End fandom has these extremely violent shipping wars over MikaYuu and Yuunoa. You know what, I ship both of them. And Yuu legit doesn't even seem interested in anybody on his squad anyway. The shipping wars are so violent and ugly and nasty and I hate being a part of the fandom because of it. The other shippers who ship anything other than those two main ships are actually really super nice and wonderful people!! And I'm sure there are some Yuunoa and MikaYuu shippers who are kind and sweet too, but Jesus I do not get that from how they treat each other.
What is the purest ship in the fandom?
LatviaxLiechtenstein is such a pure ship and nobody can tell me otherwise.
What are your thoughts on crack ships?
It depends. There are some crack ships I get annoyed by because they're literally that-crack yet they become super popular and overshadow other ships that have actual canon interactions. However I tend to not be too hard on them because I've seen some really funny ones or ones that I'm interested in the reason why people ship them. And you can technically consider my favourite ship from DanganRonpa to be crack
Popular character you hate?
I absolutely despise Charles Grey from Black Butler. He showed up so briefly and yet he gets a bunch of fans and attention for pretty much no reason??? That is the main reason why I hate him because I don't think he's deserving of so much praise when he's barely done anything.
Unpopular character you love?
I adore Momo from Bleach and I just don't understand why she gets so much hate? It's not her fault she is fragile. She's not really 'unpopular', technically, but she does get a lot of uncalled for hatred from the fandom even to this day and I'm just like: 'aren't we over all of that by now?'
Would you recommend XXX to a friend? Why or why not?
I would definitely recommend Black Butler to my friends because I think it's a really good story, the art is beautiful, the characters are great, and I think it's really original for a shounen.
How would you end XXX/Would you change the ending of XXX?
Even though I like the ending of Bleach, I would give better closure to certain things. I know he was in a rush and all and I understand that, but I myself would've answered a lot of pressing questions in the fandom like if Ichigo's sisters got powers of their own or not.

Lithuania from Hetalia. I actually have a list of characters I don't ship him with because that way it's much easier to keep track of all my ships with him.
Least shippable character?
Probably Mamoru from Sailor Moon? Like I know there are a few ships with him like Rei and Minako because he dated a few girls before settling on Usagi but those didn't work out. Like he didn't think Rei was very good date material. Something about him just doesn't seem very shippable to me. I just have the one ship with him and that's it, and it's only because they're engaged and then get married.

Aaaaaah how can I pick?! I'd say For Every Hate There is a Reason just because of how much it inspired and educated me.

I prefer reading and writing both one-shots. They're easier to focus on and honestly most ideas are only good enough for that one one-shot.

It depends. I tend to avoid them until they are complete but every so often I come across one by accident.

I forgot the name of it, but it was fifty or sixty chapters long and it was still on-going as of 2015.

A character has to deal with a situation that they are utterly unfamiliar with, like a noble disguising themselves as a townsperson and having to make the disguise 'convincing'

Really fetish-y fanfics. Fanfics that were clearly written for the purpose of fulfilling a certain kink and not offering a warning about it in the first place.

A ship that I really dislike or bashing on a character/ship I like, even if it's intended to be humorous.

If it's justified and earned, then I like it. I despise people killing off characters they hate in their fics just to kill them off because they hate them. Did that make sense?

Not that I can think of. It's not that I enjoy seeing characters tortured, but it's also not like I spend my time rolling around in bed upset that my favourite fictional characters are being hurt.

I think I literally just found it one day and started to read it. It was pretty tame compared to what I'm into now, but back then I was really into it. And I've read some extremely gross smut fanfics, but I don't really want to share the stories because I honestly don't know if they were written to be funny and taken as a joke or something to be legitimately hot.

I really love parent!fics and love children if they're for a ship I ship! And even if it's not, it's still interesting to see what others can come up with because a lot of them are really creative! And I don't like mpreg at all.

I like genderbending and de-aging because I think they lead to funny and creative story ideas! I'm iffy on animalizing but I like it if it's done really well.

This is probably a stupid or weird question, but in college, do they have a nurse's office? Like what if I throw up at school, do I go to the nurse or do they just send me home? Or do I have to stay there? What if I just feel nauseous or have diarrhea and I need medicine? I mean it's no secret that I get upset stomachs really easily and I have puked at school before, several times in fact, so these are things I wanna know....
My mom has been doing nothing but watching Sims 4: Seasons videos for the past few days and I know I shouldn't say it but it's getting on my nerves. I mean, how much new information can she even find out when that's all she ever does? And then she spends a huge majority of the day asleep, which clashes with my own schedule since I'm awake during the day and asleep at night so I rarely get to spend time with her this week. And I don't really feel like watching stuff with her late at night and ruining my schedule; and not to mention I would be really tired at that point. Maybe I'm just being really weird about it because I got to talk to her last night but she teased me about some AU I'm working on partially as a joke and I know she didn't mean anything bad by it for some reason it really hurt my feelings and she didn't even really seem to notice or care. Maybe she thought she was being funny. Maybe I'm just being too sensitive.

Ugh my journal is such a mess. I'll have all the stuff in the spoilers cleaned up by Monday, I promise. Not getting rid of the pictures though.
I asked my mom that college question because nobody else answered it for me and she said if I throw up in class they'll send me home but if I throw up by myself and nobody knows, I can stay in class if I want but it's on me to make up any missing work. And if I feel nauseous I have to bring my own medicine since she's not sure if they have nurses in college or not.
They don't have nurses typically. Police, sure, but otherwise the closest thing you have is the local nursing program.
So my mom was correct, it seems. So I guess I gotta stock up on Pepto-Bismol before classes start.
The temperature is ninety-five and the heat index is 102. I don't think I should've gone to the library today. It was punishingly hot outside as I walked and it was even more dangerous for me since I was having problems figuring out when it was time to take a break in the shade. Mom told me if I follow the instructions NWS Indianapolis is giving me I'll be fine, and then I jokingly told her their biggest rule is to not go outside lol She told me a horror story Grandpa told her about baseball players being taken off the field because they're dehydrated and it was an obvious horror story for me and she said as long as I drink plenty of water I'll be alright.
My DanganRonpa AU made me realize I apparently have a thing for a bunch of characters having children with the main character and everyone all living together like one big family because this is literally the third time I've done this and I don't know how to feel about this lol
Mom said I should actually do college stuff today so I guess I'm going to do college stuff today lol
Mom: "Your anime Sims look so stupid, like what did you do? Just randomize a Sim and put clothes on them? Haha!" Also my mom: "You should make more anime Sims for my town! Your Sims are always really good and I love seeing how you design them and make their house and bedrooms!"
Like pick a side Mom, do they look good or not? Because I am so sick of spending several hours out of my day making a bunch of really-hard-to-make Sims and actually feeling really proud of them and them having you insult them, and then turn around and tell me I do a good job on them. I am making them for you, so if there is something I need to do, tell me. Otherwise I will lose all of my motivation and just not do this for you anymore.

It wouldn't really matter if I showed you them since you don't know what animes they're from or what they actually look like lol Right now I just have my Black Butler family but I want to make some Seraph of the End Sims and DanganRonpa Sims unless Mom tanks my motivation again
Lol this one group made beer using purified sewer water and the beer actually got a really high rating on several review websites. The purpose was to show that purified waste water is perfectly safe to drink and could be used as an ingredient to make things in the future.
"Yui Komori is actually a really interesting and complex character especially for a reverse-harem dating simulator made by that company. She's got a good personality and a really interesting route in terms of how her character develops over-time." 
My mom showed me a trailer for a Netflix anime because she told me there was a guy in it that I would go nuts for and I was trying so hard to throw her off but I involuntarily smiled at the guy when he showed up and Mom wouldn't let me hear the end of it lol I bet the character is either barely in it or dies extremely early on because he looks like a villain lol
From what I remember he has medium pink hair and is dressed in really flashy vintage clothes and is really over-the-top and flamboyant and crazy and also looks like he's girly

So you guys remember All-Day Anime from last summer? I'm going to it this year and I don't want to give too much away in case something happens, buttttttttt.....I'm going to cosplay this year. I'm not going to say who in case I can't make the outfit in time(my mom is helping me again) but if you guys read my journal enough I think you'll have a pretty good idea of who it is, but until then, I guess I'm just going to leave you guys hanging. Even if I'm not able to cosplay, I'm still going to go and have a blast like I did last year.

Ask me about my characters and their children! 8DHow many children does your character have? How many would they ideally WANT?
Sayaka has four children from three different guys; two are identical twins hence the number. Neither Sayaka nor the three fathers wanted children at all, but after realizing the situation they were in was hopeless, well.....
How did the children become a part of the family? Were they born into it? Adopted? Somehow else? Talk about the journey! :D
All four daughters were born into the family. Desiree is the unofficial Ultimate Punk-Rock Guitarist, unofficial because the school doesn't do talents anymore. But she was really good at electric guitar so her dad jokingly suggested that if she was a student, that would be her talent. The other three children are still too young to have a defined talent yet.
What kind of a parent is the character? Does their own idea match that? Do they think they are a good parent? What are some of their insecurities as a parent? How about their partner?
Sayaka mainly ignores her children. She plays with them occasionally but most of it is up to the fathers, whom Sayaka scolds constantly aside from Makoto. Leon actually wants to be a good father for Sayaka but his hot-headed tendencies make it hard, Chihiro spoils the twins and Sayaka too much but cannot punish anybody at all, and Makoto is hardly around. But at the end of the day, it hardly matters because none of these kids wanted to have kids of their own anyway.
What are the meanings behind the children’s names, if they DO have meanings? Were they named after someone?
Desiree just sounds like the name of an idol, doesn't it? That's what her parents thought. Umeko means 'plum child' and Momoko means 'peach child' and since they are identical twins, their father thought the names would be perfect. And Hikari means 'bright light' and her father thought her name fit who he hoped she would grow up into.
What do the children call their parents?
Desiree calls Leon and Sayaka 'Pop and Mom'. She calls the other two Papa Chihiro and Dad Makoto.
Momoko and Umeko call Chihiro and Sayaka 'Mama and Papa'. They call the other two Pop Leon and Dad Makoto.
Hikari calls Makoto and Sayaka 'Mommy and Daddy'. She calls Leon and Chihiro both 'uncle' due to her age.
Talk about the children! What do they look like? What are their personalities like?
Desiree Maizono is the oldest at sixteen. She has spiky short hair that's bright red and is often worn loose or with a bunch of hair clips in it. She's about 6'1 and has some muscles on her figure, as well as blue eyes. She's pretty impulsive and doesn't think through a lot of her actions if she's feeling very strongly. She can be hot-headed, but she tries to calm herself down around her siblings. She normally wears really grungy clothes. Despite playing guitar and being amazing at it, she also plays baseball in her free-time with her father and is good at that too.
Momoko and Umeko Fujisaki are the next oldest, being around eleven or twelve. They have dark hazel eyes and long blue hair that reaches their waist. Momoko wears a pink barrette and Umeko wears a purple one to tell them apart, however, their clothes are identical except in different colours; Umeko wears pink and Momoko wears purple. They are very girly and timid; much like their father they are quite shy but are friendly when they open up. They are very artistic and good at drawing and can also sing really well. The only boisterous person they can stand to be around is Leon, anyone else makes them feel uncomfortable and close up.
Hikari Naegi is the youngest at only five years old. She has long brown hair pulled into a braid and dark brown eyes. She typically wears a long brown skirt with a brown ribbon and white blouse with a brown hoodie on top that resembles her father's. Due to her age, she doesn't have much of a personality apparent but she does have a kind heart and is almost always smiling and happy. She spends almost all of her time with her mom due to her age. Despite loving both Pop Leon and Papa Chihiro, she loves her Dad Makoto the most and whenever he arrives, she drops whatever she is doing and asks to be picked up by him. She's naturally curious about what other people are doing and is often underfoot when people are trying to work. Right now she loves drawing with chalk, throwing balls against the wall, jump-rope, and dolls.

What are some of the character’s favorite memories from their kids’ childhoods?
Leon's favourite memory is helping Desiree pierce her ears for her twelfth birthday. It was really hard to find the proper equipment and everybody knew there was an extremely high risk of her getting infected as a result, but somehow everything worked out fine and now she has even more piercings.
Chihiro's favourite memory is taking the twins to the school's greenhouse for the first time. The girls were in absolute awe seeing all kinds of new flowers and plants from around the world, and also seeing the farm animals being kept for both entertainment and food(and then he had to quickly distract them when they realized what they had been eating)
Makoto's favourite memory is when Hikari first learned how to walk. She stumbled a lot her first time, but she was determined to make it to the other side of the room and to her father. Once she made it on wobbly steps, she fell into his arms and he promptly held her up and bounced her.
Sayaka's favourite memory is whenever her children discover her very first record. She doesn't remember who first discovered it and when, and she doesn't really care either.
What are some of the character’s favorite things to do with their children?
Chihiro likes to teach the twins programming, Leon likes to have jam sessions with Desiree and the twins, and Makoto is just happy to be around the children. Sayaka likes to sing and have fashion shows with her daughters.
What about the CHILDREN’S favorite things to do with their parents? :D This isn’t necessarily the same thing!
The twins love to sing and dance with their father, wearing colourful and bright idol costumes like their mother. They often secretly record their father when he sings, which ends up embarrassing him.
Desiree likes to play baseball with her father because she's really good at the sport and is always up for practice.
Hikari loves to go swimming with her dad because he always gives her really cute inner-tubes to use.
What’s playtime like? What kind of games does the character tend to play with the children? Are they GOOD at it? :D
Playtime with the twins is very quiet and relaxing since they love to draw and colour. Nobody really plays any games since there's nothing really 'kid-appropriate' in the school, but Hikari is always up for a competitive game of Hide-and-Seek with her sisters and parents, if she's lucky. Chihiro loses Hide-and-Seek every single time.
Does the character (or their partner, or BOTH) have some mutual hobbies or pastimes with the children that aren’t strictly playing? Like some crafts or sports that they share and have fun with?
Leon and Desiree both enjoy playing music and baseball, but the other fathers don't share anything in common with their children.
Does the character have any meaningful items they pass on to their children? Like an old toy, or a piece of jewelry, or some other family heirloom?
Not really.
What are some of the skills or things the character teaches to their children? Some family traditions, or particularly important life lessons? How about their partner?
Makoto teaches all four girls to have a good heart and to always be kind and friendly, no matter what. Chihiro teaches them to not judge people based on their appearance. Leon teaches them to have a good time and not take life too seriously. Sayaka teaches them to not be afraid to do whatever it takes to realize their dreams.
Is there a toy/book/game the character is almost as excited about as the child (or even MORE so than the child? :D)
Chihiro always gets excited when it's class time for the twins because they always use the computer lab and one of the learning programs he made himself. They never get as excited about it as he does, but he's proud he managed to make such a thing that all of the children use, not just his own.
Sleep time! Talk about the sleeping arrangements and rituals of the family through the years!
Sayaka has converted her bedroom, with the help of some of the guys, into a small several-room...thingy. She has a tiny little living room and her four children all have their own sides. When they were younger, Makoto would stay up all night, telling them stories and making sure they would be able to sleep; sometimes Sayaka joined him. As they grew older, eventually Makoto stopped to spend more time with his other children, but the twins and Desiree were too old for things like that anyway. Their bedtime is ten PM, no negotiations are made because it is a school rule. They prepare for bed around eight thirty or nine, bathing, brushing their teeth, and putting on their pajamas. Leon likes to chase the girls around after they're dressed, pretending he's a monster and making them all squeal and crawl into their beds for protection. Afterwards they lie in their beds quietly and fall asleep. They dream of the school and their parents and hobbies; they don't know very much about the world so they can't imagine very much. Hikari still has nightmares about random things and often looks to the twins for comfort and the three are often found in the morning, asleep in their own bed. They all wake up at seven in the morning sharp; they have no choice about this either.
Talk about what happens when a child gets sick.
The school has a really good infirmary that is always well-stocked, so the child who is sick is often placed in there until they recover. The students lack a lot of advanced medical knowledge, so a lot of the time they just wait and worry. Luckily the most severe thing any child has ever gotten was food poisoning, so they don't have to worry about anything chronic.

Talk about a time when the children did or said something that was both hilarious and definitely embarrassing for the parents!Momoko and Umeko decided they wanted to show their parents' friends how good of a singer Chihiro was when he was alone. So the two manipulated one of the video cameras in the rec room and hid when Chihiro went in there and started to sing by himself, doing a whole entire performance. Afterwards, the girls got the tape and played it for all the other students, showing off Chihiro singing and dancing and also wearing one of Sayaka's dresses, pretty much pretending to be her. Naturally, everyone found it hilarious, including Sayaka, but Chihiro was mortified. He hid in his dorm and didn't come out for nearly a week and that was the one time he came the closest to punishing the twins.
Talk about a time the children scared their parents.
Desiree somehow managed to find the school's biology lab when she was eight and thought it would be funny to hide in one of the freezers. She got really sick for a week when Makoto and Sayaka found her half an hour later, and both Makoto and Leon nearly had a heart attack trying to find her. It was then that Sayaka decided the second father of her child would be someone far less reckless.
Talk about a time the children made their parents very proud.
Leon was extremely proud when he learned how good Desiree had gotten at guitar. He dubbed her unofficially Ultimate Punk-Rock Guitarist and told her if her mother allowed it, they could gather up some of the other students' children who were interested and form their own band. Desiree loved the idea but so far has been unable to find anyone else interested.
Chihiro was proud of the twins when at an early age they somehow managed to hook up an entire sound system in the rec room. He was surprised since he didn't think they had gotten any technological prowess, but he stood corrected. They haven't done anything like that since, mainly because Makoto doesn't let them near any electronics out of fear of electrocution, but that one memory was enough to make Chihiro extremely proud of them so it doesn't matter.
Since Hikari is still so young, so far her proudest memory for Makoto was when she said her first words. He holds that memory with high regard.
Sayaka doesn't really feel very proud of her kids, but she was pretty happy when she learned how good Umeko and Momoko were at singing. If they weren't all stuck at the school, she would've gotten them an idol contract at this point and brought them along to sing in her own shows.

Desiree was trying to practice baseball again when she accidentally slammed the ball into a vending machine and broke it. The twins were there and all three of them started freaking out because they already knew Pop Leon would scold them for being someplace they shouldn't be. And the vending machine was something that belonged to Monokuma, and they were also terrified of being punished by the bear, far more than being punished by Pop Leon.
Momoko suggested they try to rewire the vending machine, and Desiree agreed, so the three unplugged the vending machine and the twins tinkered with it slightly, plugging it back in after an hour. Much to their horror, however, the vending machine wouldn't work at all, and the twins started to cry at the implications. They figured if nobody used the machine, their crime wouldn't be found out, and Desiree thought they had come out clean when Touko arrived and tried to use the vending machine to get a ring out of. It nearly exploded and she ran off, making Sayaka show up, attracted by the noise. She very quickly put together what had happened, especially after seeing Desiree's bat, and punished all three girls by taking away their toys and making them attend one of Yasuhiro's fortune-telling sessions. Only twenty minutes in and the girls were already begging to be forgiven.
What kind of people do the children grow up to be? What do they do?
The girls don't have very much experience with the outside world. Actually, they have none at all. However, that doesn't stop them from picturing what their futures would be like if they and their parents ever manage to escape.
Desiree ends up becoming the guitarist for an all-girls' punk-rock band, also playing baseball on the side, though not as a career or anything. She has calmed down somewhat, but can still be impulsive in certain situations. She remains unmarried but has a string of various flings.
Momoko becomes a famous painter, while Umeko becomes an idol. Umeko loves her career; Momoko hates hers. Momoko has a boyfriend while Umeko is married to Touko and Byakuya's son, mainly for the publicity.
Hikari becomes an elementary-school teacher, inspiring children everywhere with her kind and gentle nature. She absolutely loves being around children and is married with several of her own children, as well as some adopted children.
Snapshot! Describe a scene or a full day from the family’s life. It could be anything from a normal daily routine, or some special day and what happened that day. ^u^
They all wake up early in the morning because old habits die hard. Desiree wakes up her sisters while Sayaka goes to find their fathers. Afterwards everyone gets dressed and Sayaka leaves to go eat in the cafeteria; she has her own section she eats at and only her and her family is allowed there. Her daughters all sit with her and try to get her attention and she only half-listens to their stories. Makoto is usually nowhere to be found, Leon sits with Sayaka and Chihiro makes breakfast and gives it to the family, sitting with the children. After they eat breakfast, all of the parents go their separate ways and the girls are left to fend for themselves. Desiree usually goes to the music room to practice on music or the gym to throw balls around, Momoko and Umeko often end up in the art room to draw or in the rec room to play games and sing, and Hikari often goes back to her bedroom to play with the limited selection of toys that she has access to. They all meet up again for lunch, and afterwards each father spends some time with their daughter, usually educating them in the computer lab using Chihiro's learning program or helping them discover what their talent is. Sometimes if Sayaka is feeling particularly happy, she picks a random girl to hang out with and does a spa-day with her to the best of their ability. Every once in a while, the families are to gather in the gym and listen to Monokuma's announcement, which is often just him yelling at them for being boring and humiliating them in various ways; the children dislike these days the most. Afterwards, it is dinnertime and it's a lot faster than the other mealtimes due to how exhausted everyone usually is. The twins and Hikari spend their remaining hours saying goodnight to all of the students and the farm animals, while Desiree browses the school's shop, not actually buying anything but just looking around. When it's close to lights out, everyone gets together and prepares for bed. In the morning, they repeat the cycle over again.
Has having children changed the character? How?
Sayaka has become extremely distant. She used to be friendly and sociable with everyone, but now she ignores almost all of her classmates and is always arguing with Leon and Chihiro over trivial matters. The only one she still actually cares about is Makoto. It's obvious she only likes him and dislikes how the other two gave her children.
Makoto is still the same, somewhat. He cares for everyone's children regardless of whether he fathered them or not because their parents are his friends. He genuinely cares about everyone's wellbeing and seems to be the only one who hasn't given up hope yet.
Chihiro is mainly the same. He likes his twins but doesn't spend as much time as he'd like with them because he has another daughter he has to care for. He treats Sayaka like a princess.
Leon feels...something towards Sayaka, but nobody knows what. Not even he does. He doesn't know whether it's regret or what. Still, he feels like he owes her something and spends all of his free-time with Desiree. She is the one who sees her father the most as a result. His personality hasn't changed a bit aside from feeling really hopeless lately, but he's trying to make a change for both Sayaka and Desiree.

~Monokuma is still very much a terror to the parents, and while having never actually bothered the children, every child is afraid of his presence and he has become something like a boogy-man to them. They know their parents are terrified of him and while they never say why, they understand he did bad things to them. If a child is misbehaving, they are automatically made to behave with just a simple: "Keep up this behavior and I will tell Monokuma on you!"
~Desiree wears her father's old clothes from high-school because she's pretty tomboyish. The twins wear Sayaka and Chihiro's old clothing, and Hikari has her own outfits. Where they come from, nobody's really sure, but nobody questions it. Sayaka herself wears her hair in a bun now and wears a simple white blouse and blue jeans.
~Desiree's birthday is October 23rd, the twins' birthdays are February 11th, and Hikari's birthday is April 2nd. Sayaka has no actual idea when they were actually born and just had them point to a random day and month on the calendar that they liked, and that became their birthday.
~Desiree gives the twins a hard time a lot because they have conflicting personalities, but whenever she complains to Leon about them, she has to listen to a huge scolding session about how 'I know they can be annoying sometimes but their pop is my best friend so please just get along with them for the two of us and your mother too alright' which she has memorized at this point. Leon also jokingly gave Chihiro a hard time about getting to Sayaka second after him, going on and on about how best friends should share many things, including girls and Chihiro didn't really want to hear it. He teased him even more when it was revealed Sayaka was to have twins.

My aunt was ranting on FaceBook about how she's cutting off contact with a huge majority of her family because they ended up being really terrible people and I have a really bad taste in my mouth for some reason. I don't disagree with her cutting off contact with them, I'm just...shellshocked I suppose because I miss having contact with my family and have been trying for years to go to their family reunions again. They were a huge part of my life when I was little; I was the flower girl at Anna's wedding!!!! And to find out they're such toxic people makes me feel numb. To find out that my 'niece' is being raised in such an environment that she's going to grow up and despise everything I am, everything that I stand for, because of what her parents believe, not even caring that I helped raise her, played with her, held her, even dubbed her to be my 'niece'? It's a horrifying thought to me. And by the way, this has nothing to do with the fact they're conservative. I don't freaking care that they are. This has to do with the fact Anna called Obama the n-word, saying he was never going to get a seat in the White House. This has to do with the fact that Grandma Lorraine was threatened by her own brother to be shot if she didn't vote for Trump(she's a Bernie Sanders supporter) This has to do with the fact they insulted my late great-grandmother at her own funeral. This has to do with the fact they are terribly toxic, racist, and also likely homophobic people and I'm so shocked to find out these people who have been such a big part of my life that I still want to talk to, that I saw altogether just a few years ago, are like this. And to think their own children like my 'niece' Isabelle is going to be grow up and become like that? It literally makes me feel ill.
My mom just told me to 'stay safe!' as I left today and I was annoyed because I can't really stay safe if she refuses to drive me back from the library
I wonder if I should even bother writing why I'm upset in my journal anymore. People don't even bother to check here anymore when I'm feeling a certain way so who cares.

When I was in fifth/sixth grade we used to live in Indianapolis in these really fancy apartments. We had a chandelier over the dining table, that's how fancy they were. I had never lived in a place with an actual chandelier before and I still haven't aside from that apartment. They had an office that you would go to ask questions, pay your rent, etc. and it was super fancy. Leather seats, a flat-screen TV, crystal figurines, vending machines and a candy bowl. I always loved being in there and every so often I would get stuff from the vending machine. And I don't know why but I always amuse myself with this one story where one summer I had spent most of the day sleeping and woke up late in the afternoon and I asked Dad why he seemed so annoyed and he informed me that while he was out and Mom was asleep my brothers had somehow managed to sneak inside the apartment office early in the morning and the staff found them curled up in the sitting room, eating candy from the dish in their pajamas. They were promptly brought back to our apartment since the staff knew whose kids they were and I found that image incredibly funny and to this day I still laugh at it.
Like imagine coming into work one day and in your swanky waiting room you find two young brothers of about eight and five in their pajamas eating candy from the dish at six in the morning. I don't know why but it's really funny to me lol
I think I'm going to do that children ask meme for a bunch of my ships that I have headcanoned children for lol Not right now obviously, but at some point. I think it'd be interesting to think about since for some ships like FinisxCardia I don't have very many headcanons involving their children even though I have imagined them.
