Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments You ever hear a song so good it makes you want to take your clothes off?

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments No 0-0

What song?

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I knew THAT would be the thing you responded to lol

A slowed-down version of She Knows by Ne-Yo

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Someone wanted to be my friend because of how unapologetic I am about what I like and what I'm into and they said I was awesome and precious and I'm literally blushing from happiness right now because nobody has ever called me precious before!!! I feel like I'm a smol cinnamon roll and I really honestly love that feeling

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Lol the fact that none of my friends commented on that tells me everything I need to know

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments My baby brother's eighth-grade graduation is tonight and I forgot he was even going to have one. I nearly started to cry. I think it's so unfair that both of my brothers got to go to their eighth-grade graduation and I never got to go to mine literally just because Dad didn't want to drive me. He told me I had to get a friend to drive me or I wasn't going and I literally asked as many people in my grade that I could but they all said no for various reasons. And I kept asking Dad but he kept saying no because he said my eighth-grade graduation was pointless and there was no reason for me to go.

He didn't want to drive me because he thought my own fucking graduation was fucking pointless.

I think I cried that night or something, I don't remember. But I did want to cry the next day at school when everyone asked me why I wasn't there. I wanted to cry when I found out we all had cake that night and I got two slices since there was a bunch left. I wanted to cry when I had to go to the office to get my official paper saying I had graduated.

And my brothers get to do something I wasn't able to and they don't even care.

I'm probably being selfish about this but that was the first time I ever had a graduation because I didn't have one for Kindergarten or sixth grade. And I couldn't even go because of my stupid dad. So basically the only graduation I've ever experienced was my high-school one.

And I bet Dad would've refused to drive me to that one too if he still lived with us.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Someone asked for a list of 'problematic' YA authors and at first I was following the thread because I enjoy hearing about things like that but then someone broke out 'clam chowder' and I dropped that thread so fucking fast because I am not here for that type of bullshit and all of you Cassandra Clare haters can only come at me if you use her actual name

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments Clam chowder?

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments It's a nickname some people who hate Cassandra Clare call her. Some also call her 'casserole' and I'm sorry for suddenly being so vulgar but this shit is disrespectful and uncalled for to me. It seems a bit rude because she's overweight and you're calling her food names? As someone who went through that it just seems...rude? And even if she wasn't overweight, it's still uncalled for to do stuff like that even if you hate the author. I'm not excusing her because in the past she has done some questionable things but I still don't think she deserves to be called names.

Like, I would be absolutely heartbroken if I found out people did things like that to me, no matter how much money I made.

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments Why are they trashing her? Because she's overweight?

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I was asleep yesterday!!! I wonder if anyone on social media has done anything to commemorate the eight-year anniversary of the Joplin Tornado. The anniversary was yesterday. I saw a few people on Twitter talking about it on Monday but I want to see if anything really big was made for the event yesterday. It won't be the same but I still want to see.

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments I don't think I even remember that happening..I did remember it was the anniversary of my graduation though..

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) wrote: "Why are they trashing her? Because she's overweight?"

They think she's a bad author. Which you know what, opinions are opinions, they're entitled to them, but they shouldn't be calling her names, especially food puns because that seems really offensive to someone who's overweight. They shouldn't be doing anything like that. THAT is what I have a problem with.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I don't really remember it very well either, to be honest. I remember the Moore and El Reno tornadoes a lot better than the Joplin one, probably because that was when I was starting to get really interested in weather. I mean, that was only a few months after an EF2 almost hit my own house. The last thing on my mind was tornadoes, you feel me?

*Nods* I understood that, I just wasn't sure if it was because of a political agenda or she did something controversial or what.

Very rarely do you see people who make stories criticized for being a poor storyteller anymore.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Well I mean, she did get in a lot of trouble a while back because it was found out that she was plagiarizing a lot of her stories and she used to write fanfics before she became an author which is illegal to do or something once you become famous. I don't excuse her plagiarizing, at all, because I don't take kindly to things like that, but you'd think people would be over calling her a 'problematic' author for it when it happened back in 2009 or something like that and she really hasn't done anything bad since then.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Harvey, Irma, Maria, and Nate have been retired

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments Unsurprising

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I agree with all of them aside from Nate. I don't remember that one being as bad as the other ones. But it's not up to me. I took issue with Matthew being retired in 2016, what are you gonna do? *shrugs*

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments So far it seems 2017 has been the only year in history to have consecutive hurricanes, and is both the most destructive/deadliest and costliest year since 2005. And all of the damage was done by just three hurricanes.

Seeing all of these numbers makes me really fearful for this year's season. What if we have something even worse? I know people say it can't possibly get any worse, but it can. I mean, they said the same thing about Hurricane Camille in 1965. It couldn't get any worse. and then Hurricane Katrina happened.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Everyone went to his graduation aside from me, so I'm currently home alone right now.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments There's an Air Zone Quality alert for Indianapolis right now. The one thing I don't miss about living there. It seemed we got those at least weekly.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Hey Hunter, I think you'd like my newest UU character if you want to RP with her. Or we could do Betty and Hollace because they share a room.

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments I'll need to look at both first.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Can you see spoilers?

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments My mom told me I should've gone because I missed all of the hot fourteen-year-old boys and that my baby brother has a really hot friend lol

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I spent my night on Twitter reading people take down racists and it was therapeutic lol

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Thank you GoodReads for telling me someone commented on a review I can't even see because the writer of said review has blocked me and also made that specific review private

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ wrote: "I spent my night on Twitter reading people take down racists and it was therapeutic lol"

I wanna see now :D

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Lol I have a bunch, which ones do you want to see?

One of my favourites was someone posting a picture of a sign outside a bookstore in Germany. Basically Germany held minor elections and one of the people was a really bigoted candidate who wanted to get rid of immigrants and things like that. The sign said: "Did you vote for him? Then you can't buy your books here. Oh, do you feel discriminated? Good, now you know how it feels."

Wish we could put signs like that here in America but I feel like it would just make the problem worse.

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments Any :P

Yeah, You-Know-Who would throw a hissy fit on Twitter and say that they shouldn't belong in this country and are traitors...wait...he already did that with the NFL kneeling!

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I'm trying to find information on a severe thunderstorm that happened here a few summers ago but literally all I have to go off of was that it was sometime in June or July and it was after 2013 but before 2016. Believe it or not that isn't very helpful information lol

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) wrote: "Any :P

I think...you missed my point just a little bit....

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I don't even remember if the storms produced any tornadoes or not because I wasn't near my computer at the time because I was at my youth group at the time. We went swimming on a normal clear, sunshiny day and then a thunderstorm came in out of nowhere and we all had to get out of the pool. At first it was just a regular thunderstorm but then the sky turned really dark and it was super warm and the wind was blowing extremely fast. We figured we wouldn't be able to swim for the rest of the day, so the kids who were done swimming were taken back to the clubhouse and the ones who still wanted to swim were told to stay at the pool. I was one of the only teenagers to go back to the clubhouse, which looking back was probably a stupid decision because there weren't any rooms to really protect us if something really bad happened. And since I was the oldest member who returned I was also supposed to keep the younger kids calm which I was doing a poor job of. One of the staff members was trying to tell everyone jokes to keep them calm and another staff member let us print off colouring pages.

It took the others a while to return from the pool and they didn't come back until there was only an hour left before the club closed for the day. I asked my brothers what had happened and they told me the lifeguards made everyone hide in the bathrooms.

I remember that obviously but I think it was just a really huge wind threat. If we had a tornado warning we would've heard sirens and we didn't. Though there could've been a tornado watch.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Something in this room smells like rotten meat

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I'm sooo bored. I didn't get to RP much last night because I went to bed fairly early, and the same will probably happen again tonight...though to be fair, I gave lots of opportunities for people to RP with me yesterday and they either didn't want to or were too busy.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments My mom is making me make my newest character and I literally have no idea how to go about it...and she isn't really being very helpful either lol. I asked who the mom was even supposed to be since I don't ship the dad with anyone and Mom said really happily: "It can just be a big mystery!" So I had what happened to the character in canon happen to my character even though it seems really uncharacteristic for that character...and then I asked what her personality should be and Mom said it should be the same personality as her dad's so she'd be a princess-type and I said I should probably stop making princess-type characters for now since I already have two of them. So right now her personality is like her dad's but instead of making her act like a princess she acts really childish like her father does.

I don't really hate this character or anything, I'm annoyed that Mom is making me make her and isn't even offering me any really helpful suggestions about how to make her a good character. She wanted me to make her, so I was hoping she had some really good ideas, you know?

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments You ever lie awake at night and think about how in just a few years people are going to yell at you on Twitter for being an author and harboring really problematic beliefs? Because I do

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

Oooooh! Nice to know historical YA fiction isn't entirely dead! Even if a lot of those titles are more historical fantasy than straight fiction. Even if I'm the only person excited for them, I'm still glad there are authors out there who write this sort of thing.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments 'Haters gonna hate' is a fine line to cross but I think it doesn't apply when you say something really bigoted. It should really only apply if people are hating on you for being 'weird'. If you try to use that phrase to defend people hating on your for being a bigot, then you are dead to me.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Why is it okay for my mom to nurse her headaches but not me? Everytime she has a headache I have to be quiet and respectful but whenever I have a headache she never is quiet and makes me do things.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Lol my middle brother tried to film himself punching this birthday cake and my baby brother got upset and started to cry and my mom yelled at everybody

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments Ewwwwwww I just saw a picture of someone eating a Snickers bar that was inside of a pickle

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments We have an Air Quality Alert today.

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I have This Ain't a Scene it's a Goddamn Arms Race stuck in my head I probably shouldn't have listened to it because everytime I do it always gets stuck in my head for like the whole day lol

Elizabeth ♛Smart Girls Love Trashy Books♛ (pinkhairedwannabe) | 16707 comments I remember this one guy on GoodReads who I talked to a lot because he was part of this group of friends I talked to a lot last year who was a major Sarah J. Maas fanboy and people gave him literally so much shit for it and at first he tried to ignore it and brush it off and be like 'haters gonna hate' but it eventually got so bad that he deleted his account.

It doesn't matter how bad of a writer you think someone is, you don't harass their fans to the point of deleting their accounts for their own safety. That is extremely low and shallow and there is a special pit of Hell for people like that. It is a high form of elitism that I cannot stand and I hate elitists anyway. I genuinely feel so bad that he was harassed for simply having a fucking opinion and all of his friends were really upset by the event.

Hunter (Totally NOT a communist ☭) (codenameagentmcmuffin) | 8243 comments ANd just because you like someone's work doesn't mean you have to like them as a person. THere are people i like as people but I think their works are *terrible*, yet no one ever trashes that. ((well, some do but not often))
