~Look Down, You're Talking to Your Highness~[R]

No I will not stop, this is one of my most favourite memes lol

But basically I was reading a bunch of fanfics and now I have a huge desire to work on my own fanfics like I always do after reading really good ones but like....I have no idea what I should even work on.....

Also Mom: *takes her absolute sweet time getting everything ready for our session*

So yeah that was how my morning started out.

Liking who you are isn't narcissistic. It's self esteem

But after going years with very little to no self-esteem or confidence, I would rather take a large amount of it and be called a narcissist than go back to loathing myself any day.

Send me “Engage!” and I’ll generate a number and make a starter with that sentence.
If you send on anon, I’ll make it an open starter.
#1-35
1. “This is embarrassing.”
2. “Alright, you get one wish. Make it a good one.”
3. “That’s never gonna happen.”
4. “Call me?”
5. “That outfit? With those shoes?”
6. “Want to untie me?”
7. “Don’t be stupid.”
8. “I love you.”
9. “I hate you.”
10. “If you could have one superpower, what would it be?”
11. “Don’t judge me!”
12. “Want to sing a duet with me?”
13. “I’ve been watching you.”
14. “Can I help you with something?”
15. “Got a map? I keep getting lost in your eyes."
16. "Help me! Please!”
17. “I’m freezing!”
18. “What are you staring at?”
19. “Want to dance?”
20. “Let’s run away together!”
21. “Are you crazy?”
22. “No, no, no! Don’t you even come near me with that thing!”
23. “Think you can stimulate me?”
24. “That’ll never work.”
25. “I will prove you wrong.”
26. “No time to explain. Just kiss me - now!”
27. “Last one there’s a rotten egg!”
28. “Oh, this is yours?"
29. "Damn! The power’s out! You got any candles?”
30. “Can you watch my stuff for a minute?"
31. "Can I buy you a drink?”
32. “That’s mine. No touchy."
33. "Buy me dinner first, hot stuff.”
34. “Can you break a twenty?”
35. “I’ve got a feeling I’m about to make a new friend.”

I'd do it with my mom but we all know she'd guess everyone correctly because I tell her...it's more fun to have people, you know, guess.

Famine: Human Form: A blue tunic, white capris, white wedge sandals, brown earring studs, dark blonde hair, blue eyes, black sunglasses, and an impossibly-thin body. She looks like the perfect fashion model and girls everywhere
Real Form: Looks very frail and starved, her bones are all showing. Her earrings turn into huge scales dropping from her ears, her eyes and hair turn into the colour of wheat, and her sunglasses turn into a mishappen black crown on her head that vaguely resembles forks. She rides on a black starved mare named Anorexia.
War: Human Form: Dark tan skin, shoulder-long firey red hair that's perfectly teased, and dark brown eyes. She normally works out to keep her body in shape and thus has lots of muscles on her frame and enjoys showing them off, usually wearing a black crop top, black booty shorts, and black heels, as well as black fingerless gloves. She has a temper but still knows how to have fun. Both her explosions of anger and excitement are....well, explosions, so best to stay far away from her at all times. She is a tourist, touring around the world to visit countries she hears are war-torn. Due to her influence, it's easy for her to sneak in. She has the power to make anyone around her erupt into a nasty fight that almost always escalates into something worse, and she just laughs about it. She is the second girl to be introduced and swears almost all of her dialogue.
Real Form: She gets a crown shaped like twisted knives and a flaming red horse named Bloodshed, her eyes turn dark green but aside from that nothing else changes.
Pestilence: Human Form: Curly blonde hair, deep blue eyes, and peach skin that tans easily. She's got a perfect hourglass figure and walks with grace and pride both in her step. She's so beautiful people literally can't keep their eyes off of her, or her big cleavage. She wears whatever is fashionable but will typically pick a white camisole, a pink lacy sweater, a jean miniskirt, and pink sneakers with white lacy kneesocks, along with a pink bow in her ponytail. She talks in a soft and girly tone, but all of her words are laced with a flirty undertone. She is the third girl to be introduced and also the only girl to go to Belladonna and Vanessa's school. Whatever she touches gets infected with whichever disease she chooses; she has the entire arsenal at her literal fingertips. She takes the form of that hot chick at school everyone wants to bang-anybody who has sex with her at a party ends up wth a nasty STI.
Real Form: Her skin becomes very pale and looks red, blue, green, or white depending on the light she's in. Her eyes become sunken-in and turn a watery grey, and her hair becomes very thin and tangled; it loses all of its colour and shine. Her skin becomes cold and clammy and she smells like a rotting corpse. Her clothes transform into a long white Victorian nightgown with matching stockings and a bonnet on her head, underneath the bonnet is a shimmering gold crown. She rides a sickly pure white horse named Pandemic.
Death: Human Form: Death normally looks like a small gothic girl, she is actually the oldest of the girls but looks like she's the youngest. She has pale skin, straight black hair that falls to the floor, and dark brown eyes. She typically wears a black Victorian gown with red lace and a big hoopskirt, grey tights, black buckled boots, black gloves, and a red headband in her hair. She carries a black lacy parasol to keep the sun off her. She is very quiet, hardly speaking up unless asked to or she needs to. A lot of people don't even notice her, which she likes. She has a close reationship with the other girls, being very caring towards them, but only towards them. Her specific power is Reaping souls as well as cleaning up the messes the other girls have made in the world, whether for better or for worse. She is the fourth and last girl to be introduced.
Real Form: Her parasol turns into a giant scythe, and her true form is shrouded with a dark grey cloak. She whispers in a hoarse voice in this form, and that is all that is known of her true form, as not even a hand has been spotted. She rides a small horse that changes into the colour of the Reaped's favourite; but is typically pale green, her horse is named Eternity.

Her loss I guess. But joke's on her, some of my friends are still friends with her so I can still see her statuses and there's nothing she can do about that.

I'm not complaining, of course, I'm just shocked and I suppose you could say flattered? It was unexpected for sure.

He lost his family to the government but instead of being all vengeful and all 'I will not rest until I have my revenge!' like you usually see in stories like that, he's the opposite. Yeah he's angry at the government, but he considers going after them directly to be useless and a waste of his time. He joins the military because he has to, not because he wants to and nearly misses the boat on purpose until his best friend shows up at the last second and literally pulls him onto the boat with her. He's a huge womanizer without apology, preferring to sleep with older women and flirting with the girls on his squad. He even uses it to save the life of his best friend in the books, even though it backfires. But in spite of his bitterness, he doesn't hold it against other people who join the military because they genuinely want to. Sure, he teases them but he's not actively trying to sabotage their reputation. He initially dislikes his partners and his squad but eventually learns to love them and learns to see them as more than just their position or title. He genuinely wants what's best for everyone, even if that means making difficult choices, and he does have to make some very difficult choices in the face of war. He gets punished and tortured for refusing to comply with demands but he gets through it because senseless fighting is not his forte.
I'm not saying he's perfect because he did annoy me a lot at the start of the show, but after seeing his backstory and why he is the way he is, as well as a lot of the things that happen to him throughout the course of the story....I started to really feel for him and realize he's really different from the typical heroes you see in a show like that. Heck, all of the main characters were vastly different than expected, but that's a discussion for another day.
I'm not saying they're not inclined to their opinion, I'm just saying I think he's set up that way on purpose-to teach viewers a certain lesson. And he's certainly a welcome change of pace. I feel like they either judged him too quickly or they just didn't understand what he's intended to be a subversion of.

I see your point but....
Minor cases of cholera still give you diarrhea and vomiting, it's just not as severe as most cases. Cholera is a digestive disease and more specifically an intestinal disease, so it is going to attack that system and make you throw up and have diarrhea. Even in a mild case you are still lying down flat on your back with two buckets at your beck and call. All a mild case of cholera means you won't get dehydrated as easy and you also won't be in as much pain as the more severe cases; i.e. you'll likely still be conscious and alert.
So no, giving your character a mild case of cholera does not mean you can ignore the ickiness of it. Cholera by default is a very icky disease and if you can't handle it enough to describe it properly, then please, for the love of all that is holy, give your character something else like tuberculosis to be 'romantic'. I am so sick of people spreading false information about cholera, whether accidental or not.

Pure speculation, mind you.

Me: "I'm a very edgy person. Do you know why? Because I can be edgy and be myself instead of being some kind of gothic cookie-cutter reject like everyone else, because just being yourself is in of itself edgy,"
Mom: "Fucking rekt,"

But at the same time I don't look like a college student so I wonder why they decided to try flirting with me? I mean, I'm reverse-jailbait. You won't get arrested for having sex with me but after you learn my real age you'll probably wish you did lol I guess it was my location and the backpack but still.

It's not even that funny but it amuses me because of how random it is, lol. I thought of it because there's a scene where one of the characters reads a note and I thought of that scene in the Hunger Games where Effie reads the names out but it's replaced by that meme. I'm weird, I know lol
