But what if you wait too long and it's actually something serious? It's better to take the chance that it's nothing.

If nothing is wrong, then you would have had a checkup, to check up on your health. Doctors get paid to do more than treat illnesses and injuries. They can just examine your health, suggest changes for a better lifestyle and help prevent bad things from happening.A few years ago I was coughing a lot and while I thought little of it, the doctor who examined me concluded I had bronchitis and needed medicine.
I have a really weird fear about going to the doctor though, that they'll say to me 'nothing's wrong with you' or 'there's nothing I can do you're just wasting my time' In high school I only went to the nurse if I passed out, a teacher made me, or I was throwing up/had diarrhea/some kind of stomach problem. I also went for tampons(if my period started when I was still in school) and when I got scabies/head lice because....well even though I hated going the itching was literally distracting me from my schoolwork.
Thank you Twitter for reminding me why I never use you:https://twitter.com/faunbutt/status/9...
Me: " I want to RP!" Me: *has a reply, technically two that I need to work on and another RP I need to make a character for and get started on*
Me: "I wanna do something fun! Those aren't fun!"
This is literally me :/ I have two or three that I actually do want to reply to and keep forgetting to look for the thread because I get distracted easily. Otherwise, I want new RPs :/ or the other people to actually respond haha
I can't really complain though since I don't really get a lot of RP requests....Mom says it's because I'm demanding but whatever
Obviously I can't speak for everyone but with me I'm just not up for it a lot...that's on me, not you.
I was watching Seraph of the End with Mom earlier and there's a scene where the characters have to fight off these demons in order to harness their power/weapon by convincing the demon they have a good reason to seek their power and for two of the characters the demons were attracted to their lust and kept feeling them up/stripping them etc. and the third character gets a nightmarish vision of his older sister and I told Mom I was waiting for his demon to take off her top and say something like 'do you want to see your sister's tits?' but that never happened and his demon ended up being really subtle and manipulative in another way and Mom scolded me and said: "He doesn't harbor impure thoughts for his sister!" Me: "But those people didn't harbor impure thoughts for the other people their demons made strip!"
Mom: "Why do you keep thinking this is some kind of really raunchy anime?"
Me: "Because in anime usually when demons take the form of someone close to the character they act really sexual with them and try to kiss them or something. This is literally the first anime I've seen that didn't do that!"
Lol
My mom just sent me this on FaceBook lol Me: "Do you have a crush on any fictional characters who AREN'T under the age of fifteen years old?"
You: *sweats nervously*
Yesterday there were police cars parked near our apartment when I got home and for a brief second I thought all my jokes about crushing on preteen boys were finally catching up to me lol
My light finally broke last night and I'm in the dark literally. I'm going to go to the office at some point this week to tell them we need it fixed because our hallway light and a light in Mom's room are also broken.
I forgot about the bag of popcorn I put in my underwear drawer before I went to bed this morning. I put it in there because if I didn't I would've kept eating it and I didn't want to eat anymore
Why does my mom hate moodboards so much? Everytime I tell her that some of her favourite shows have Tumblr blogs she always asks in a disgusted tone: "Do they make moodboards of them?" Like what did they do to you Mom? Haha
Had to help my mom put all of the clean clothes away but she thanked me for helping her...that was nice.
I told my mom that joke and my baby brother said he didn't get it and I told him: "Good. I don't want you to repeat it at school, or even worse, tell people your adult sister said it,"
I had to walk past that part of town I greatly dislike yesterday. I have no idea what it even is but everytime I walk past this one group of buildings it always smells like rotten garbage. I know I say this a lot and that things in my town stink but this area literally does smell like stale garbage. It's usually a lot stronger than it was yesterday. I have no idea if it's just a dumpster that isn't emptied out very much or if it's literally people dumping garbage in this area and making a big pile of it, but it's disgusting and upsetting to me. If it really is the latter, I seriously want to know why a really advanced town, a town that has a lot of 'green' options and is actually really rich, has an area that smells like a New York City tenement hallway from 1914. It just doesn't add up.
There were training sessions to become a member of SkyWarn Indiana a few weeks ago! I'm so upset I missed them, I really would've gone if I had known since they held some in my city in the city hall. I really want to be a part of SkyWarn Indiana. I think it would've been a lot of fun and would've helped me out a lot. And I could've helped people out too! Oh well, there's next year I guess.
SkyWarn is an organization of trained weather spotters. Basically if you pass the test, your job is to monitor weather conditions in the city you're certified in. You have to measure rain and snow depths, monitor the temperature to see if it's going to be really hot or really cold, measure wind speeds, measure hail sizes, and also watch for funnel clouds. They are one of the few groups of people who can actually put tornado warnings into place because they're professionally trained. They also check for stuff like flash flooding/flooding and other kinds of weather emergencies, but their main focus is on severe thunderstorms.
I thought it could help me get over my fear of severe thunderstorms since you need to monitor them a bunch as a SkyWarn official. Plus I would be very proud if I managed to successfully identify a funnel cloud and announce a tornado warning. I would be saving peoples' lives in Bloomington and I would be proud of that fact.
That's super creepy: The NOAA Weather Radio audio of a tornado warning issued for Greensburg, Kansas on May 4, 2007. Note that the audio is immediately cut off at the end because Greensburg was struck by an EF5 tornado while the warning was in effectThe warning was talking about how it was an extremely large and dangerous tornado and it got cut off during the instructions of what to do
Mom randomly told me earlier that the beach house we used to live in in Mobile has been long-destroyed at this point and I just looked at her like 'what' lol
Mobile is directly on the coast of Alabama. We owned a beach house. What happened to the Deep South in 2005?
That's the first house I actually remember living in. We lived there for a year before we had to move away because my middle brother was born and we didn't have any room left. It WAS a really small house but it was still nice. I had a really nice set of windows in my room that overlooked a parking lot and at night I used to sit next to them and look for Dad's car pulling up after he got home from work. I remember my parents' bedroom was across from the bathroom and how pretty it was. They had a really nice denim quilt on their bed Mom made. I remember the big closet in my room and how it was filled with all of my toys. I remember eating in the high chair in the kitchen and how annoyed I would get because it was really high up. I remember how messy of an eater I was. Since our house was right on the beach I remember going there all of the time. I used to build sand castles and some boy asked to borrow my sand toys because they were really fancy and he never brought them back. One time I tried to swim in the ocean with my shoes on and I nearly lost one of my sandals in the tides until Dad brought it back for me. I remember the neighbors' kids Mom used to babysit and how they played with me even though they were so much older than me. I also remember the playground I used to play on after church and Sunday School was over. I remember watching Mom and Dad work on an endtable made from marble and glass that was extremely pretty because it looked like it was made from crystal. I threw up once in that house because I had gotten sick and I also accidentally threw up on the quilt because I lied about still needing to vomit. I remember climbing all over my dad as he slept in that bed because he was a lot bigger than me and I used to pretend I was 'climbing the daddy mountain'
I thought I said I used to live in Mobile, Alabama? Well I did. Mom remembers it far better than I do and I'm kinda jealous of that. I don't really talk about it because I don't have a lot of memories from that time. I mean I have some but not really anything important.

My mom is talking to her best friend about her extremely-detailed in-depth headcanon about her current Skyrim character lol
All I heard was that her elf's parents fought in the Ancient War and were killed and he was born on the battlefield lol
Am I the only one who's freaked out by Tikis? Like I know I shouldn't be freaked out by them because there's nothing actually wrong with them but for some reason I feel extremely uncomfortable around them. I used to go to a lot of tropical themed hotels/pools/restaurants as a kid and I'd always get upset if I saw one and avoided them every chance I got.
Me: "Okay, you've taken two bubble baths this week and you should really cool it on that because taking too many will irritate your 'area' and give you a bladder infection and also bathing every single day isn't very healthy anyway because it dries out your skin and also makes your hair super oily and greasy-" Also Me: "Yeah but YOLO"
Untitled: In Edo-period Japan, MC is born a princess in the Imperial Family. As per the traditions of her time, she is taught to be silent and respectful, leading her to be ignored by her subjects and family alike. One day, the sun suddenly vanishes, plunging the city into chaos. Her family gives her up as a sacrifice to the vain and prissy sun goddess Amaterasu, honestly hoping she will die and the sun will return. At first, MC and Amaterasu, as expected, don't get along. However, MC isn't ready to give up on her people as she decides to show Amaterasu that humans aren't worth giving up on, and as time passes the two end up forming a friendship as they discover they're more alike than initially thought.
I told Mom Yuki Kaji's casting calls probably all go like "Yuki-kun, we need you as a voice actor,"
"Sorry, I'm busy right now,"
"But I think you'll like this role! You'll be playing a preteen boy who loves candy and screams 85% of his lines!"
*beep beep beep*
"Yuki-kun? Are you there?"
Lol
