~Look Down, You're Talking to Your Highness~[R]

Also Me: "N A C H O C H E E S E A N D F R I E S""
I have a bad feeling about this

Ohhh
I dislike those the most.

Oh boy I hope you don't mind that almost all of my OCs aren't straight

And it's a romance RP no matter what, our OCs are supposed to get together with the person we have a crush on.

This is my favorite arc and I'm so glad the movie did it justice. It's literally what I was expecting to see. The animation was really gorgeous and all of the scenes I was ready to see animated were wonderful.
My mom was really surprised with how much they took from Titanic. I already prepared her, but I think neither of us were aware of how identical a bunch of scenes were, like literally identical to the movie.
I was surprised by how much they cut out of the manga. Like I know they mostly cut out really irrelevant stuff like all the parties they have on the ship, but they cut out a bunch of scenes of like the Midfords. They're only on-screen for a total of a minute maybe, even though they're actually important to this arc. They also gave them different hair and eye colors which annoyed me, their looks in the manga were significant. The movie spent a bunch of time just focused on the fight scenes between the characters and the zombies, while the manga spent more time developing Ciel's relationship with his relatives and their fun on the ship, only to have it soured by the zombies.
The DVD we got also skipped a whole mess of the movie, pretty much twenty minutes of it and Mom had to skip a bunch of the main fight scene to get the DVD to play. It was during the climax, so of course we couldn't just skip it.
Overall though, I'm so happy that after a literal year, I'm finally able to watch it. Like I said, this was my favorite arc in the manga and I'm glad that this movie, despite all its faults, ultimately did justice to the source material, especially since Black Butler has a bad track record with adapting the material properly.

And here's her aesthetic board: https://www.pinterest.com/bradyelizab...

If you're going to make an OC for a fandom, then I'm expecting them to have details like this. Otherwise, I often find myself at a loss about what I'm even supposed to be doing with them. And I'm not expecting everyone to have a huge amount of detail about everything their OC does in a series, of course not. I'm a writer and that's just what I do.
But I do expect a little something. Otherwise, your character just looks like something really generic that you decided to slap into whatever universe you want.
This one person I'm supposed to be RPing with doesn't even mention how her OC knows her crush or vice versa, so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do since I'm RPing her crush. I don't know how he would react to her, what their relationship is like, etc. I don't even know how they would even meet since she doesn't seem like a character he would normally associate with in canon.
I feel like doing stuff like this really defeats the purpose of making an OC for a particular fandom because it sucks the fun out of doing an RP like that because I'm always at a loss for how to RP with their character. This has happened to me several times and I'm honestly sick of it.
I'm not saying my OCs are perfect either, because of course they're not, but at least people RPing with them will have a very good idea of how they'd react to their crushes and certain situations.
And that's what RPing is supposed to be about.

That's part of why I like Star Wars, Legends in particular. There's just so many stories, so many people. You can have a fully fleshed history in almost any time period and they don't need to even know the main chatacters of the era.

There's a theory going around that he's Cedric, Frances and Vincent's father and Ciel, Elizabeth and Edward's grandfather and there's some evidence supporting this, the biggest being that Yana designs her characters to look just like their parents, which Ciel, Edward, and Elizabeth all do
AND HER MOST RECENT PICTURE HAS THE UNDERTAKER WEARING HIS HAIR JUST LIKE FRANCES AND LOOKING ALMOST IDENTICAL TO HER AND I'M OVER HERE FREAKING SCREAMING BECAUSE THIS IS MY MOST FAVORITE THEORY IN BLACK BUTLER AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S ABOUT TO BE CONFIRMED
and of COURSE she draws this right after I make a joke about Ciel being like Miguel in Coco

You Are: Scrappy and tough, you’re a pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps kind of person. You don’t give up easily and you often thrive in situations that others would find discouraging. You have an instinct to serve others and see yourself as most useful in times or places of crisis, but you may over rely on your toughness and forget how sensitive you really are.
Like you, dandelion holds steady, even in unfriendly environments. It provides gentle liver stimulation and digestive support, aiding your body’s natural detoxification processes.*
Called “the little postman” in Persian because of the belief that dandelion brought good news, dandelion has unfortunately acquired a reputation as a pesky weed. Its liver and digestive benefits have been known for centuries, with reference in Arabic texts dating to the 10th century. Dandelion is a bitter herb, a characteristic that contributes to its digestion-supporting properties.* When roasted, dandelion root has a coffee-like flavor that once made it a popular coffee substitute!
You Are: Spirited. A feisty and fiery companion, quick with an opinion, a laugh or an idea. Warm, friendly and inviting, you never allow an awkward moment to pass. In fact, even cold and distant people warm up to you more quickly than others. Negative experiences or too much indulgence, however, can send you into a bit of a tailspin, and when hurt you may become quite cold and distant. Ginger people do best when their natural warmth and affection is flowing freely, giving them easy access to their love of life.
An international socialite, ginger has worked its way into culinary circles around the world because of its digestive and warming talents*. When experiencing occasional digestive disturbance as a result of overindulging, you can rely on the warming, spicy properties of ginger root to restore a sense of balance.*
Known for its ability to relieve occasional indigestion and prevent nausea associated with motion sickness, ginger first appeared in the writings of Confucius in the 5th century BC.* By the 1st century AD ginger had become one of the most commonly traded spices. During this time ginger was so valuable that, in England, one pound of it was worth the cost of a sheep! Spicy, rich and warm, with sweet undertones, ginger is considered a warming herb in some traditions and makes a wonderful spicy tea for the winter months.
ou Are: Let’s just say you’re a vocal person. Sure, that might mean you’re chatty. But it also means you’re the one humming in the hallway, singing in the shower, speaking your mind, standing up and shouting if need be to get yourself heard. You’ve got a voice and you know how to use it. Inclined to speak up for the voiceless, defend the defenseless or simply bring joy to the joyless, you may have a tendency to overuse your voice.
Smooth and silky, slippery elm is balm for the voice and friend to everyone who uses it. Long a champion for tired vocal chords and taxed throats, slippery elm’s slickness make it an ideal companion for those who a prone to use (and sometimes overuse) their voice.
Slippery elm or Ulmus rubra (Latin for “red elm,” so called for its lovely reddish bark) is a beautiful, native North American elm tree Introduced into Western herbal traditions by Native Americans. It’s the inner bark of this tree that is actually called “slippery elm” due to its, yes, slippery, smooth, and slimy-in-a-good-way properties.

And I'm not saying every kid is out there partying, doing drugs, etc. because that is not true at all.
However, let's say I'm writing about my teenage life and all the stuff I encountered. I'm going to have to talk about that kid in school who got in trouble for cussing at a teacher. I'm going to have to talk about that girl in my class who got pregnant and took her daughter to classes with her. I'm going to have to talk about all of the drugged-up people I see on my walks to downtown. They're part of my life, part of my experience as a teenager.
Am I going to have to talk about their consequences and show what they did in a negative light? Of course not. Because I don't know their life, I don't know what kind of effect those choices had, if any. Because it's none of my business.
Look, believe whatever you want, all you want, but I think it's stupid to ask for books that depict teenagers in a more realistic light and then get upset when that's exactly what's given to you.

Id they whine so much about it, hows about another post apocalyptic dystopian YA trilogy with a love triangle? I mean, those dont have the "evil" things in them.

old twitter: send nudes bb new 280 char twitter: dearest Penelope, it's been a harsh winter's time since thou booty has graced thy screen

Much to his surprise, Alois got invited to attend some random noble's party. He probably met them at some point....probably. He just didn't care enough to actually remember their name. He briefly thought about not even going, but if it turned out to be a super important noble who could spread gossip like wildfire....then he couldn't risk such a blow to his title. So, he would go, albeit not happily. It wasn't even a costume party, something that would be a bit more entertaining, just a regular boring, stiff ball. Nothing would happen that would interest him, but he hoped that after an hour of being though, people would be too preoccupied with their own business to notice him slipping away.
Emiliana arrived at the ball early, wearing one of her newest, yet absolute best dresses. It was in a dark lavender and therefore was one of her favourites! She got invited by her friend Samantha, but sadly lost her in the already-bustling crowd, leaving her by herself. She felt anxious about how loud everything was, but tried her hardest to keep her calm as she went over to the table full of food. Food would calm her down, right? She picked up a glass of pink lemonade and scanned the room, looking for someone to talk to.

After the usual UN meeting was finished, Greenland decided to show up to walk home with the Nordics; she felt like it had been forever since they had done something like that. Since the meeting was over, she could go inside freely and did so, awkwardly looking down at the ground for most of her walk. She would recognize her brothers' feet. What she hadn't planned on doing was running right into somebody, making her blush lightly and take a few steps back. She looked up and smiled a bit when she recognized the person. "Oh. America! It's just you," She said, noticeably relieved.
Italy exited the building, a bit disappointed with how serious the meeting ended up being. Maybe if everyone had something to eat, they'd be livelier. Maybe next time, he should bring something for them to eat! It was a plan! He smiled at his thoughts and continued walking outside, a noticeable spring in his step. He noticed his friend Andorra standing by herself, gazing up at the sky, and since it was a while since they talked, he walked over to her and gently tapped on her shoulder. "Hello there, pretty lady! What are you looking at?" He asked curiously yet nicely.

Mm. I just don't want you to not have fun. I know i'm lousy at it and don't want to waste your time...

Like not all of it is about being miserable, but a lot of them aren't really happy"
I didn't say I wanted really happy music :p i said I wanted not miserable music. If they have some songs that aren't miserable, I'd like to hear them.
