One of my new friends on this site is a girl from Tallinn(capital of Estonia) I wanna talk to her and ask her all about her city, but I'm also shy because I always get nervous asking foreigners about their countries. I'm always afraid they'll insult me and say stuff like 'you don't know stuff like this 'cuz you're an ignorant American!!!! I don't want to talk to you about my country because you're stupid!'
Tell them that you don't have the ability to travel and so your only way of learning about other places is from people in said places. I do that. My European friends are baffled that it would take days by car to reach Canada or Mexico while they can take a day trip to other countries and be back home later that night.
It's not because I can't travel, they just think I know nothing about their countries because I'm American. Which isn't true at all. I know a bunch about the ex-Soviet nations, but there's only so much I can learn from the Internet. I want to actually talk to people who live in those nations and see what it's like for them to live there first-hand. Did you know Skype was invented in Estonia? Neither does anybody else!!!!
Well tell them that. Say "I want to learn more about your culture". Many I've seen are eager to tlak about their culture.No. i've never even heard of that country :p

Elizabeth's stomach chose that moment to flip. Out came her breakfast, all over the rug and Edward's shoes.
"Elizabeth?!" Her parents called at the same time, holding her as she crumpled to the floor, vomiting one more time before dissolving into tears.
"What's wrong?" Frances demanded, tightening her grip on her.
Elizabeth just shook her head, unable to tell her family the truth. She quickly put together all of the soreness and nausea she had been feeling recently to mean one thing.
"Elizabeth!" Edward demanded, kneeling down in front of her. "What's wrong?"
She swallowed and closed her eyes. "The Phantomhive family.....has an heir."
"Of course they do, it's your job to undertake Ciel's old duties." Frances frowned.
"No.....not that. The manor here is soon going to have little feet running around.....the little feet that Ciel and I made together." She said slowly. The room was stone-silent and she winced.
"Unbelievable. Do you think a scandal like this won't go unnoticed? It doesn't matter much for the Phantomhives, but for us. You ruined our family name," Frances left the room in a flurry.
"I can see it now. Having a child out of wedlock? And Ciel's child nonetheless!" Edward grumbled, following after Frances.
Alexis helped Elizabeth off the floor and called in a maid to clean the mess. "It was reckless, understand? And irresponsible of you." He started, making Elizabeth nod. "However......we can fabricate a story. Say you're a widow. That way, the gossip will be less than if you were unwed."
"But what about Edward and Mother?" Elizabeth wiped her eyes.
"Let me deal with them. I promise, they can't stay angry forever. It's just a huge shock.....to lose your nephew and find out your only daughter is carrying his child in the same day?" He straightened himself up. "Stay in your room and rest for the day. I'm going to have a maid make a stomach relaxer for you."
"Thanks." Elizabeth blinked, her hands on her stomach.
"And I would love to have a little granddaughter running around here." He added before leaving the room.
I'm so excited for the new Ever After High dolls coming out this year! While I'm still not a huge fan of the cheaply-made look and less flexible limbs, they still look cute and I love how Apple White comes with separate dresses you can put her in! One of Mom's complaints with the other dolls was that you had to buy a whole new doll to change their clothes, so I know she's going to love that one at least. I'm a bit miffed they're just remaking an older line that I actually didn't like, but it IS called 'Budget Brand'. Hopefully the more expensive and detailed line coming out this year will have a more original theme.
Which ones are they remaking?
They're remaking a bakery line that I care so little about I don't remember the actual name of it.
This time however, they're turning them into waitresses and giving them some of the same accessories they had as bakers.

Why does Otomate insist on using the same exact character models for their guys over and over again? Like their girls are easily some of the most beautiful girls I've seen in anything but they keep reusing the same five or six male designs and it's really annoying and repetitive. They're not even subtle about it. You just have to deal with the fact half of all their guys look like Ayato from Diabolik Lovers

The official soundtrack for Book of the Atlantic came out a month ago and I listened to it, wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt. I mean, after all, the movie has a really different plot from the actual Titanic movie.I really liked the songs chosen for the scenes where people have to fight off the zombies and run away from them. I really liked the Midfords' theme song. And of course Elizabeth's music box theme was really beautiful and fit her perfectly.
But in the scenes of the movie obviously taken from Titanic, the music sounded eerily similar. The opening and ending music, the music that plays while the ship is sinking and everyone is scrambling around, and whenever Elizabeth is supposed to be all beautiful and sparkly, her theme changes from a music box to a piano theme that sounds like Rose's song from Titanic.
Do I hate the soundtrack? Of course not. I was just hoping that they would be smart and try to distance themselves from Titanic with the soundtrack, but I guess I had too much hope.
What is Book of the Atlantic?
The Black Butler movie that came out last year. It's about Ciel receiving an invitation to sail on the Campania, a luxury liner with Elizabeth's family to New York City for a vacation. A few days into the voyage, however, a secret society accidentally releases a group of flesh-eating zombies onto the ship, causing panic and making the ship ram into an iceberg. Ciel and Elizabeth end up having to find a way off the sinking ship while also fighting off the zombies.
It was an arc from the manga that I read last January and the arc is very shameless in taking scenes and characters from James Cameron's Titanic. I was hoping the movie would be more subtle about it, but after seeing some scenes from it and listening to the soundtrack, I found out I was very incorrect.
Mom's mad at us because we have a really high Internet bill again. I know all three of us are to blame, but I think we should all be upset with my baby brother, who enjoys leaving some kind of Internet game running on the computer while he plays on the PS4, which eats up a whole chunk of data.
Mom and I are going to watch Titanic again lol We watched it last year around this time too because I was bummed about Book of the Atlantic not coming to theaters here. Now we're watching it again because I'm bummed about not getting it on DVD lol
