I don't like M/M in stories or RP either but if someone else does, good for them. I guarantee there are things I like they don't: pWhat is the obvious? Referring to your comment about why you're fascinated by cholera.
And I thought the bubonic plague still exists, just in small, isolated areas? I remember readong it's still in like, Mongolia I think it said.
Well yeah, but it's isolated and another global pandemic is unlikely at this point. Cholera does not exist in isolated areas and there are still many nations that experience seasonal outbreaks of it just like we have seasonal outbreaks of stuff like the cold. And scientists think cholera will just become more widespread again with rising sea levels.
And the obvious reason why I like it are the symptoms. Cholera attacks the small intestine and causes really painful stomach cramps, diarrhea that looks like water and smells like fish that dehydrates a person extremely quickly because of how much diarrhea they pass, vomit that looks like water, and of course dehydration. It can also cause a person's skin to turn blue from the dehydration, hence its nickname 'The Blue Death' and their skin often turns wrinkly and rubbery and their eyes get sunken-in. They are also extremely cold to the touch. People sick with cholera looked really ghastly from their blue skin and eyes being sunken-in that many nobles in England and France who were ill with cholera were often made to wear special 'cholera masks' so the family and doctors taking care of them wouldn't be horrified by their corpse-like appearance. The masks were often extremely fancy and looked like bejeweled masquerade masks, except they covered the entire face aside from the mouth.
And cholera could kill in only two hours if it was severe enough.

Tuberculosis is often called 'the disease of love' because your cheeks would become pinkish-red and you'd feel very faint, so it looked like you were in love. But cholera was often referred to as 'The Love Disease' too because the churning in your stomach was compared to butterflies in your stomach you get when looking at someone you're in love with.
So see, cholera can be romantic too!
Cholera spread to Japan in the 1870's and a famous author at the time was stricken with it and he spent his time drawing what he thought cholera would look like as a monster 
The spikes and claws probably represent his stomach pain, and they're modeled after aquatic creatures in Japanese folklore. I actually really like his designs.

FUNimation only has the anime they own on their site. Bleach is owned by Viz Media, not FUNimation.

I need to work on my Secret Santas but I hate typing on this computer.
Times are tough so I've only been eating one thing a day for a few weeks now and I can't believe how skinny I've gotten. It hurts to sink my stomach in because there's not much of one to sink in and I look like I have a wasp waist. I didn't think eating so little would actually make me so skinny.

Not taking in enough calories will do that. Your body will burn fat to use as energy.

I just find cholera interesting that it's stuck around for so long when science says it shouldn't have survived this long. It can't even be passed from person to person.
Plus cholera is like the only historical disease that destroys the digestive system. Tuberculous, smallpox, Black Death? You can keep all of those. I'll keep my disease that makes a person pass about three to five gallons of diarrhea a day, and vomit too.
