So The Puppet in Five Nights at Freddy's is a girl?! I have no idea how I feel about this...I always imagined her as being French, so my headcanon name was Pierre. But since she's a girl, her new name will be Simone.
My mom keeps complaining about how she's so sick of anime being made for teenagers because she hates watching stories about kids in high school and falling in love and stuff like that. And I told her that for starters, she is always watching anime specifically made for teenagers, and secondly, while there are things in Japan about being an adult, getting a job and having a family and stuff like that, they're usually not made into anime because they're not too popular as the main demographic for anime in Japan right now are teenagers. And while adults can certainly watch anime, most of the shows are not being made specifically for them.
And besides, there's already a lot of anime like that on both of our streaming services yet every single time Mom passes by one she says: "Ewwwww! I hate stuff like that!!!" So it's really her own fault that she refuses to try anything out of her comfort zone

It's scheduled to snow on Friday and over the weekend too and to accumulate, and at first I thought: "Oooooh, maybe we'll have a snow day or a delay on Monday!!" And then I remembered I don't go to school anymore and I started to cry.
Why do I always have bad experiences with Hot Pockets? Like I know they're not the healthiest thing to eat, but 4 out of 10 times I've eaten one I'm thrown it up with very bad stomach pains. And all the other times it refuses to digest and everytime I 'burp' I have to taste it in my mouth because it just sits in my stomach. I ate my Hot Pocket at like six PM last night. I've eaten other stuff since then. Yet everytime I 'burp' I taste that stupid Hot Pocket!!
The box saying microwave for 2 minutes is a load of crap. I do it for THREE and it's still cold!Blech that's gross >.< especially pepperoni ones.
It helps if you cut them in half, since it's usually the middles that need to be cooked longer. Mine were ham and cheese-flavoured.
AhI never have that problem with ham and cheese. Just the pepperoni ones.
It happens to me no matter which ones I eat.
So....one of Melanie Martinez's friends came out on Twitter and revealed she was raped by Melanie Martinez, and everything is just blowing up about it. Some people say she's lying, other people say they need more evidence before they make a final decision, and others are extremely mad at Melanie Martinez.
I really have no idea what to think about this....I've never been in a position where a celebrity I really like is accused of something like this. And while I don't think her friend is lying, I also want to hear the other side of the story. I want to hear all sides of it.
But still....I just feel....hollow.
And I don't care if you don't support/like Melanie Martinez, you shouldn't be burning or destroying that $100 album and merchandise of hers. At the very least just give it away. That is one of the pettiest things you could ever fucking do. I hate these stupid and petty people who always destroy their merchandise whenever a huge scandal happens to the person in question. It shows a huge disdain for that person, especially if it's revealed to be false.
This isn't the first time I've had to deal with people burning fandom stuff because of a scandal and I just know it won't be the last.

There are places in Mississippi that have gotten six inches of snow and I swear if we don't get any snow I will scream I don't want a repeat of last year where literally every single state in the union aside from those in the Deep South got snow.

I think it's ironic these people are hating on Mechanica because the book's Cinderella is really tough and snarky and whatnot and they wanted a more traditional Cinderella but I bet if she was more like the traditional Cinderella they would all whine that they wanted her to be a stronger, sassier person

Cinder isn't steampunk, it's sci-fi. I guess steampunk could be considered sci-fi but I don't really consider it as such. Cinder to me is more like what I think of when I think of sci-fi, outer space, advanced technology, etc.

It's technically alternate history, which is technically sci-fi. But Hunter specifically called them both steampunk and while they may both be sci-fi, Cinder is most definitely NOT steampunk
