What's with all of these reports of sexual harassment coming out at the same time?

Women are finding the courage to come forward now. Before they might have not been believed or had their job compromised, but since others are coming forward, they've decided to take a stand.
My mom told me that when she worked at Sonic in high school, someone she worked with a was a pervert and said disgusting things about the girls who worked there-even the minors. She tried complaining to her boss about it but she was ignored. I can't remember if she actually said this, but years later she went back to working there and her boss confirmed her complaints. I think. I can't remember.
Meanwhile I've never been sexually harassed....and if I have been I can't remember since I'm always ready and wanting for a guy to touch me or say something perverted towards me. The closest was probably last year when I was afraid I had made a pedophile set his sights on me.
I'd offer to do it if we lived close but we've already discussed this :\What happened?
I was at the library using a computer when this guy who couldn't have been more than a few years older than me walked up to me and asked how old I was, but his friend told him he couldn't ask those kinds of questions in public and they walked away, and the old man sitting next to me said if I was smart, I would never talk to that guy or let him approach me ever again. Though I really do have to look back and laugh now, because if he wanted to have sex with a twelve-year-old girl then boy oh boy was he in for a nasty surprise....
Haha. I wonder what his reaction would have been :p
Probably want to know why I look like a twelve-year-old with my clothes on but I look like a twenty-year-old when I take my clothes off because I want to know too :P

OMG that girl on Instagram looks a lot like that one girl at the anime party I went to over the summer who was cosplayed as Ciel Phantomhive!!! I wonder if they're the same person? They act the same and love the same things....

She might still say no though due to security reasons. But they really are super similar......I will never forget Jane's face and this chick has the same appearance, hair, and glasses.

I'm actually active and talk to people on Tumblr though, it's just weird that someone who has no fandoms in common with me follows me Because their dash is going to be spammed with ships and characters they probably don't recognize
