I don't even consider the people who were saying that stuff to be Republicans. This is proof that Trump has split the nation so much nobody even knows their political party anymore.

I'm Democrat; p I'm not a die-hard who.will vote Dem no matter what but most of my viees, ESPECIALLY on morality line up with theirs. But I'd support someone else if I liked them better.Hey I've been trying to work on fantasy characters; p I'm saving sci-fi for if I ever actually put effort into Euclid
He could be a fantasy creature that he turned himself into. So far the only idea I had was a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde type of scenario, but that seems to be a bit boring, and Mr. Hyde wasn't even a monster anyway, he was just a stronger version of the doctor.
He is lol my mom loves that story and always gets annoyed when people think Mr. Hyde turned into a literal monster.
My search has been mostly fruitless. All the things that have come up are either girls, giant monsters like Godzilla or those ants from Them, or things like Frankenstein.
And this should be easy for me, I love scientific experimentation! I like the idea of a scientist messing around with stuff and transforming themselves into something else, either by accident or on purpose.
I'll just have to ask Mom when she wakes up since she loves scientific experimentation too, but knowing her she'll say something like Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde or The Fly.
A character I'm going to make for the sister school is going to be this shapeshifter from Native American folklore who turns into an owl at sunset. When they turn into an owl, they vomit up their intestines and leaves them hanging on a tree, then in the morning when they transform back into a human, they swallow the intestines again.
It's believed to shed their human side. Like the intestines represent the fact that they're a human, so in order to transform, they have to shed their humanity and become an animal.
I can't think of anything good. I guess I'll make him a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde type, but I really don't want to and was hoping I could do something more creative.
Well she'll be short, but not like pocket-sized if that makes sense. Like the secretary from Bailey School Kids.
A series of books I was obsessed with as a kid Basically in every book, the four main characters believe some adult in their neighborhood is some kind of mythical creature because they act strangely. I always liked how the books never flat-out said if the adults were monsters, or if they were just super weird people; it went both ways.
How? Either they're a magical creature or they're not; I dont see jow it could leave it with either as the right answer: p
That's the fun of it :P It never flat-out said. Like in one book, they believe their art teacher is an alien. One night, strange flashing lights are seen in the sky, and the next day at school, the teacher is gone mysteriously, but she also left a note of resignation...so it could be a coincidence that she vanished the same night as the lights, or not....
Ulch this is all I've gotten done on my teacher thus far: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...Mom liked my idea and said I should come up with something super gross for him to splice his DNA with, since I'm good at stuff like that, but I'm stuck!! She suggested he could be half-plant, but I don't know, that sounds a bit...I don't even know. I just don't want to do it.
I didn't even want to make the science teacher, but everyone else said they were too busy to do it or didn't want to, but we need a science teacher so I guess I'll do it. But I have no ideas and everyone else's ideas would've been way cooler than mine anyway. Plus I already have the assistant science teacher and the science teacher has to live with her because of her disability, but I don't want two of my characters to interact like that. I want someone else to do it so it doesn't get confusing.
Mom first suggested a vampire bat, but I declined because that would just make him exactly like my vampires, and I don't want to do that. She then suggested a Venus fly-trap, and I said I see that as a very feminine flower and don't want to make a guy that.
(view spoiler) Plus all the human Venus fly-traps I've seen in fiction have all been girls. I don't know how a guy would look.
I remember in the 1986 version of The Fly, which inspired me, the scientist soon learns he's developed corrosive vomit and has to do things like vomit onto his food so it'll dissolve, then slurp it up like a fly would do.
And yes I changed my username because I was dared to by a friend, I'll change it back tomorrow don't worry haha

You are so much help :P
I know there are baby birds that puke on intruders who come into their nest because they need to defend themselves, and the vomit is super sticky and smells like rotten fish. But how would he become that? He is still a scientist, and he would've been working on something to help people. That bird will not improve humanity in any way. And even if he purposefully injected himself with DNA for fun, I still don't see him using that animal because it's not even a fun animal.
Not even I would turn into an animal like that, there's no point.
Back to the drawing board I guess... I really don't want to keep asking my mom for ideas because I know she'll get annoyed but I don't have anyone to ask.
