That's nothing to be ashamed of. They can be tricky.iN elementary school i had those velcro strap shoes. I didn't learn how to tie my shoes until middle or even high school. And even now I suck at tying them and they CONSTANTLY come undone. my dad gets mad at me all the time for it.

I feel like abortions aren't as common as a lot of pro-lifers think they are, especially among teenagers. Like, yes, sometimes teens do get them, but I have to say I have known a lot of pregnant teenagers throughout high school and even middle school. And none of them got abortions. Yes, some regretted their choice, many of them had their boyfriends leave, but they all stuck through until the end and were given a child.
I remember one girl in particular sometimes brought her baby daughter to class on slow days and we'd all ask to hold her and help feed her and stuff. And this girl went through a lot of shit. Her boyfriend dumped her after finding out she was pregnant, and she was fairly young at the time. A lot of people were telling her to just abort it because it wasn't worth it, but she said that she got herself into this, and she'll just have to deal with it.
.....I don't really know where I was going with this, I just saw a bunch of pro-life stuff and I got mad.
And I'm not saying you can't be pro-life, just don't be stupid about it. My mom is pro-life, but she firmly believes that in order to prevent unwanted pregnancies, we need to give out better forms of birth control, as well as make birth control more widely available for women to use, which would in turn cut down on abortions and unwanted pregnancies in general. She's not saying 'it's a human being so don't abort it but when it's actually born screw it', and she also doesn't want to bomb abortion clinics. I like her way of thinking.
And yes, I'm pro-choice, but I don't think people should get abortions just because they want to. If you think to yourself 'oh I'm pregnant but I can just abort it,' then you're a scum human being and deserve a hundred kids to take care of. And if you're poor or don't have the means, then set up an adoption for the kid! Abortions are way more expensive anyway! Personally, I think you should only get an abortion in one of these cases:
A. You were raped and got pregnant by your rapist,
B. You engaged in incest and became pregnant from it, though I have no idea how common this is,
C. You or the baby have a life-threatening medical condition that will result in the death of you, the baby, or both.
Pro-lifers seem to forget the last one is an option...like I can understand people defending the first two, but in the case of the third one....how can you NOT abort in that situation?
I agree.It's funny that many "pro life" people also support gun rights...when the only purpose of a gun is to end lives.
It's also hypocritical of conservatives to say they want less government involvement in their lives and try to control women's reproductive rights and who is and isn't allowed to be married.
Remember: It isn't pro ABORTION. It's pro CHOICE.
Pro LIFE for many is is Pro "I want to dictate your body even though i don't know your story"
if you want to prevent someone from having an abortion, then you should pay for all medical expenses during pregnancy ((or fight for free healthcare so poor people don't have to suffer)) and then adopt the child at birth and raise them with love and care for the rest of their life.
ANd if you won't do that the, mind your own business.

....Lakes can and usually are polluted with stuff that's not a power plant. This one is polluted from sewage and chemical wastes. In fact, most rivers and lakes in my state was polluted from sewage and garbage. The Wabash River smells absolutely awful because of that junk.
There was a random power outage earlier, but luckily I had saved the character I was working on before it happened. But I had a bunch of awesome videos in my suggested section on YouTube that I can't find again!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who's disturbed by those old Slim-Jim commercials from the 90's.

Well you know what a Slim-Jim is, right? They're just meat sticks you eat for a snack. But I guess the company had no idea how to advertise that in the 90's, because those commercials were so gross :P

They featured a guy dressed as a Slim-Jim and he would do things like beat up other snack foods in the stomach and throw them into stomach acid. Sometimes things would happen to the kid and it would affect his stomach, like in one commercial he drank soda and burned everything in the stomach. In another commercial he nearly drowned and a bunch of water got in his stomach. In another one, he got sick and threw up all of the snack food including the Slim-Jim. They sound fine but they're really gross and weird :P I'll try and find some on YouTube.

That mac and cheese I had earlier tasted so good. And then it came out of both ends and it tasted disgusting. It was mixed in with that pizza I had when I woke up a few hours ago.
I am so stoked for Sea Witch!! Even more so now that it has a cover and an official summary! Ironically The Little Mermaid isn't one of my favorite Hans Christian Anderson stories, but it's still up there. I remember reading the original one and being so blown away by how beautiful the writing was. The sea witch is barely a character in it, but I'd love to see someone take her presence and really work with it! I can already tell reading the reviews for this are going to make me mad lol
The only thing I remember about the original Little mermaid is she turns into sea foam.
In the version I read, she commits suicide because she can't kill the prince. Her spirit is then taken to Heaven by angels because of her sacrifice, and she is happy because one of the things she wanted as a mermaid was a human soul and the opportunity to go to Heaven.
Different versions. Go figure; pI also remember Cinderella's stepsistters cut off their heels to fit in the shoe and had their eyes pecked out, the Queen in Snow White wore burning shoes until she died and Sleeping Beauty was raped and gave birth in her sleep.
