Back when I was in school I'd remind all my friends several weeks in advance my birthday was over our break, then when we came back I'd tell them my birthday was over break, and then a part of me would die every time one of them said: "Your birthday was over break?! Why didn't you say anything?!"

Ours were built in the 60's as government-funded houses for poor people, so we don't have carpet or painted walls. Everything is made out of concrete, and we even have an old-timey water heater. The bedrooms are VERY tiny and we just have hooks to hang our clothes on. Before moving here we had to throw out half of our toys, clothes, and kitchen supplies because they wouldn't fit in here...
I was SO happy when they replaced our toilet, before it would get clogged and back-up on EVERYTHING, and it thankfully doesn't do that anymore.
We also have a gas stove.

Mom and I call it the 'Soviet Union house' because it perfectly resembles the cookie-cutter houses built in the 1960's in the former Soviet republics that still exist to this day.
Seriously, I was freaked out my first few times walking home that I'd end up in the wrong house since they ALL look alike from the outside.

I'm freezing right now though since it's really cold outside, and I get cold easily even though I'm in a big woolen nightgown. Maybe I should wrap up in a blanket.

What's the temperature there?

43 degrees currently, but the wind chill makes it feel like 36 degrees.

(view spoiler)
It's because of an atmospheric clog that's affecting the uppermost part of the country. The weather will stall, and temperatures will drop. It'll rain for days on end, resulting in even more flooding.

I'm going to make some mac and cheese and drink it while it's boiling hot. Hopefully that'll warm me up.

How do you drink mac and cheese?

Reminds me of a book that came out recently about a girl with a rare eating disorder, and people got upset when in the book she makes fun of people with other eating disorders while she's getting help all because they made fun of her by saying things like: "She shouldn't even be here, she's just a picky eater. She doesn't have an eating disorder,"
I hate to admit it, but that was one of the reasons why I didn't want to get treatment back then. I was so afraid the other girls would mock me, saying similar things: "She just eats a lot, that's not an eating disorder. She doesn't belong her, she's just an ugly fat girl who eats a lot," I already heard stuff like that at school, I didn't need to hear it in the hospital, even though it was highly unlikely to happen.
The mac and cheese I make it really liquidy so when it's hot I can drink it :P It makes my stomach hurt a lot more though.

Ahh. Be careful, both with the hot food and the fact there's cheese :p

Notice, I told counselors and teachers and even the nurse at one point, but since they didn't think I had one. I believed it.
That's not exactly stuff you should tell a preteen girl, who is already extremely impressionable as it is. There's a reason people get disturbed when they find out I was only TEN when I started binging.
That kind of mac and cheese gives me terrible stomach cramps since it's super rich :P But I think I'm going to wait a bit and see if mom comes home first since she's bringing me home food.

Do that instead :p

Me yesterday: SPRINGTRAP IS GONE
SPRINGTRAP IS IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW
SPRINGTRAP'S GONE AGAIN
REBOOT EVERYTHING
DIE FROM SPRINGTRAP THE FIFTH TIME IN A ROW

But on the third night, my ventilation keeps breaking and I have to reboot it so my character doesn't freak out, and when I'm rebooting it, Springtrap sneaks into the office, pushes my monitor down and kills me.
