For this category I read Fourth of July Creek by Smith Henderson. Pete is a social worker in rural Montana. The children and parents that Pete works with have issues. These issues make this a difficult read at times, but it was an interesting book and definitely worth the read. Pete is also dealing or not dealing with his own issues.
