Book I want to read again

Hi Guys, I hope this is okay to ask I'm looking for a book I read about 5-6 years ago I can't remember the author or what the book is called, I've been looking for years trying to find this book with never finding it. This book is a child abuse book all I can remember from the book is a father abusing his son he try's to tell his mum and sister but don't believe the father takes him to a convention (I think) where he again abuses him. I think the father went to jail in the end the son ended up on drugs but eventually managing to put in the past. If anyone knows what this book is called the author I would really appreciate it as I would to like to read again, Thank you in advance.
