Ah yes! I remember the blue on the old Arcacian flag but I didn't remember what the second color was. I wasn't sure if the uniforms were starting to be sewn before or after Balan gave Trask the flag. I thought before though. Good point about blending in!

It's actually slightly weird that Balen, king of Samara is traveling escorted by people in Old Arcacian colours. I mean it makes sense in context, but still...
The question that's really bothering me though it's this one: Do the cretes have herds of cattle beneath their tree cities? They've got to be getting this leather from somewhere. Need to feed the dragons too.
Maybe the leather comes from dead dragons.
Deer makes a good deal of sense.

It is funny she cast a Liam as Kaden. XD I've never seen Liam in a movie so I guess I like Chris better just because I've seen him. *shrugs*

I will! But see, every time I think of Liam Hemsworth, I see Gale betraying Katniss and killing Prim. You can’t cast a guy like that as Kaden😢

Well.... I haven't seen or read the Hunger Games yet...but I plan to very soon.
So I'm kinda sitting here in shocked silence cause I had sort of already built a picture of who Gale was in my head and was hoping I'd really like him...
Ooops … Sorry, I didn’t mean to spoil things for y’all😬But, Jeanette, he is a “good” guy in the hunger games. He just gets involved in something in over his head. It’s not “really” his fault. But… he isn’t supper innocent either…
It's ok, Jordan. Please don't feel bad! It's kinda hard for me to avoid spoilers because sooo many people have read it. Ok, that makes me feel a little better.
It's fine. I know a lot of spoilers, I just didn't know that one. I don't really plan to read or watch them because they sound depressing, but my sister's seen the movie and still likes Gale. She says his arc didn't make sense and she didn't really believe it. But she hasn't read the book. My biggest brother loves the books and movies though.At this point all Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Narnia spoilers are plastered all over the internet so it's really hard to hide from them weather you want to or not. :)
It's not a confirmed fact that "he" killed her, but he was a driving force in what killed her. I"ve read-ish the books (have not read Mockingjay straight through, but I've spot-read most of it, at this point). But HG's is a story of what war does to people ... and Gale ... yeah. An innocent got caught in the path of his fire. ANNNNYWHO.
If only joel smallbone had blue eyes, I would cast him as Jace. He has pointed ears. And he is a very good actor.

For King & country is pretty great! I can't really see Joel Smallbone as Jace though. Ok, you're probably gonna think I'm crazy, but I wrote down a list of all the actors that people on this chat suggested for the Ilyon Chronicles cast and went and looked them all up and decided if I liked them or not(yes, I'm weird like that)...and I couldn't agree on any of them for Jace or Kyrin. And to this day I can't find anyone perfect enough to cast as Jace and Kyrin. Everyone that Jaye has on her "Ilyon Chronicles Characters" Pinterest board is almost exactly how I picture all the Ilyon people though.
I can’t see anyone as Jace or Kyrin, but he would be a good actor. Honestly I don’t know how a movie would even turn out and I would prefer to stick to the book
