But since reviews don't sell, nothing will happen -:) Anyhow I really enjoyed it and many thanks to a fellow author Ralph Jones for his interest and care!

That's amazing! Always good to hear when a reader loves your book. I must say, I promote the heck out of good reviews with postcards and often see a little spike in sales. You never know what this review might lead to. Congratulations, Nik!

Post cards sound like an interesting idea, especially if from your experience they work

I'm no bestselling author ;) but i do get quite a few compliments (I.e. attention) and they are shared more than other posts on Facebook and Twitter. Several of the spikes in sales I've had, I can now trace back to a postcard review post. Worth trying once and seeing what happens! I know I often trust a reviewer's opinion more than the author's. Good luck!

Justin (justinbienvenue) It's funny you mention this because I've heard the exact opposite. It's said the more reviews your book has the more likely people are to check it out. By check it out I mean purchase and by purchase I mean you get sales. This is why places try to help you get reviews so that your book looks more established and makes the book more appealing.
