Who are we?

Well, it seems that no one is doing anything on here which is a bit of a suckage for me since I'm always looking to meet new people.

I thought that if someone posted something then that might help get things going. An intro thread usually seems to do the trick. :) I hope...

Anyway, My name is Jayelle and I live in San Diego. I'm an author, artist, role player, gamer, and all around geek chick. :) Most of my art and writing is fantasy based realism to one degree or another. I'm also into scifi and am a total browncoat to boot (my husband constantly makes fun of how often I watch Firefly...and yes I won't let go of the notion that they should bring it back).

When I'm not writing or working on my artwork then I'm playing SWTOR. I would be playing Skyrim or Assassin's Creed if my kids would let me on the Xbox. lol What can I say...when you get two gamers together then they're going to breed more gamers. It's just how it is. lol

Anyway...I guess I'll stop there. :) I can go on and on sometimes and I'm trying not to bore anyone. :)

Boring no one! (Sure your post is from last year but I just found this!)

I just got out of the Navy and moved to Huntington Beach. Rediscovered my love for Fantasy and Scifi books while in the navy and continue to take in everything I've missed over the years. There is nothing Brandon Sanders, Robin Hobb and Joe Ambercrombie write I wont read.

I do play Skyrim, after I recently uninstalled and reinstalled to my PC from all the mods I broke the game with. I am looking for like minded folks in the area. Been gone for to long and have no interest in returning to the bar scene I was a part of when I left.

Anyhow I really don't know what to say here other than I am happy I found out Goodreads has these groups.
