I thought I was done for the year, but I find myself completely engrossed in 14th century England (Dorset) in The Last Hours by Minette Walters. It has a slight The Pillars of the Earth feel to it.

Hi Ridhika - welcome to Around the World! Sounds like you've already hit the trail running traveling to several places. It's been a long time since I've heard Ibn Battutah's name - from many moons ago in world history class! Will be interested to hear what you think of the book.
