I am working on the PopSugar challenge in addition to UNO and hopefully NBRC will do another Team Challenge soon and I will Definitely join in that. I prefer team challenges because I like the camaraderie and motivation it gives me. Sounds like past UNO teams have had great fun, I hope I end up on one like that and that they will welcome a first timer. *grin

I'm doing a few other ones on GR, and some personal ones. Such as trying to catch up on some series and hoping to get through some of the recommend to me books here on GR.

I'm excited to start another reading challenge again. I took a little hiatus after NBRC's Wobble challenge. It was so much fun but life got really busy at the end and I wasn't able to participate as much as I wanted to.

Looking forward to finding out the teams as there are a few people I know here from other groups and it would be awesome to be in a team with them again or to meet new people as well :-)

Hi Nikk - nice to see you here - there are a few of us Aussies around. I played UNO last year and had a ball - was my first HUGE team challenge -and is really full on. It will definately help you meet your goal ;)
I have a spreadsheet too!

There are more but I need to catch up first! The Holidays really put a dent in my reading time. I'm working on that now. This sounds fun! I'm excited to play :)

I like it too! It would be fun to get to know some of you, since I am new to UNO challenge and this group. Thanks for thinking of it Diane!

Hi Nikk!!!

*stalks and see if someone would take the hint* LOL Tower teams was my first challenge so it will always be my first love ;)

Right now I'm reading Clockwork Angel, Halfway to the Grave, Silence and a bunch of others. They are all awesome so far!

Hi Noa! ;)"
Hi Kat! How are you doing?

I'm reading

Next question.... What's the WORST book you read in 2016?

I am reading book 3 Clay's Ark

It is a really good work of Science Fiction by one of the best female authors of Sci-Fi. I am writing this now because I could not put the book down. I had to finish it before I could go to sleep. To sleep or start book 4?....hmmm.

Hi Noa! ;)"

Hey Kat! Hey Noa! Long time no speak! Good to see you have both recovered from wobble :-P

I'm reading Utmarker by Arne Dahl, first in a new crime series set in Sweden. I'm only a few chapters in, but so far it is really good. The plot jumped straight into a case with a missing woman and a serial murder, and it definitely has me intrigued.
I'm also reading Les Misérables - it is good but it is going very slow (mostly because I keep getting sidetracked by wanting to watch the film again or listen to the musical soundtrack...). I will definitely not finished it before Uno starts!

The worst book I read last year was without a doubt The Daydreamer Detective. I prefer hard-boiled mysteries, but can enjoy a cozy mystery once in a while as long as they are well written. This was horrible. I liked the setting but the MC was extremely annoying. There was absolutely no character development during the book, and the plot was so weak it was painful to read. Everything magically just worked out and the MC didn't actually contribute anything. I cannot even remember what significant events happened in the book (or what the mystery the MC was investigating was) - the only thing I remember about this book is how much I disliked it, and how frustrated the MC made me, from page 1 to the end.

I'm reading

The Night Huntress series gets better as you move along. :-)

I'm doing good. And you ladies, how are you both doing?
Ha! Yes I enjoyed the break and dwindled on reading. But I signed up with 153 books this year so I welcome the push this team challenges give.
Hey Nikk, did you sign up for SOS Bingo?
