Hello everyone!

There seems to be some confusion - I'm seeing a lot of questions about the challenge that appear to refer to the official Goodreads challenge, where you state how many books you want to read and as the year goes on you can see if you're behind or ahead, etc.

Once your time zone hits midnight, you should be able to see the official 2017 challenge.

This is a group is a home-grown challenge that started two years ago as the Pop Sugar challenge, but has morphed a bit each year.

All are welcome to play along!

But we have nothing to do with the official challenge.

I really don't understand how someone can confuse this challenge with the official site one. But obviously several people have...

I googled 2017 Reading Challenge Goodreads and this is what I got. I just thought that they had changed it. One would think that you could sign up for the official reading challenge before midnight on the last day of the year! It was not obvious.

I was finally able to sign up for the official challenge a short time before midnight. I'm not sure why they make you wait so long.
