I really loved book 2 so I would definitely say it's worth reading that one.

Assassin's Blade really introduced me with the world and the characters, as well as the history of everything. Definitely worth reading that first.

I don't want to have to re-read the first book...does the second book sort of start off with a brief summary of the first so I don't get too lost ahah. All I remember was that she won this tournament to become the (kings guard?) And there was a love triangle between her the prince and the head-guard-person?
Some sort of dark magic involved and there was some other princess as well. Hmm, did I miss much XD
This is so sad I don't remember much considering I know I loved the first book when I read it!

I really do miss her I just don't want to finish the series. How many books are in this series? Is she still writing it? I need to go look.

Looks like there are 12 books with the 12th coming out October of this year but I'm not sure if that is the last one. The Stephanie Plum series is at 20 something (this is the series that reminds me of Charlie Davidson) and I could read those forever and ever.
