DHASG Yearly Reading Is Fun-Damental Challenge

Introduction:

This is at its heart, a reading group. This challenge will get back to those basics. Let’s celebrate the fun of reading.

So why do you like to read?

Tell us why by spelling out why you enjoy reading. It’s up to you. You’re saying why you enjoy reading.

Here’s an example.

Rules:

1. Books must be read between January 1st and December 31st, 2016. Any DHASG member can sign up for the challenge before December 31st, 2017.
2. A book can only be used once in the challenge. Books used can overlap with other challenges.
3. Books can be spelled with the first or last name of the author, the first letter of the book title, or the name of the series (in the case of X you can use any word that includes X as long as it’s the first word). If it’s a graphic novel, you may use the series title once and then it must be the name of the specific volume thereafter. You may use “A, An, or The” for this challenge. List date read next to book.
4. Sign up on this thread and regularly post your stats.
5. You are welcome to spell out as many reasons why you like to read as you would like. Finish one, post your completion, and start the next one.



Levels:
1. I Am Spelling Bee Champion: Phrase with 30 or more letters.
2. I Love to Spell: Phrase with 20 or more letters.
3. I Make Spelling Look Good: Phrase with 14 or more letters.
