And you are reminding ME that when Borders had their going-out-of-business sale I bought a bunch of Anne Perry's that are sitting in my guest room untouched. Maybe I'll add one of those to my DL.

I know I answered this but don't see the post! Maybe I added it somewhere else.
Your post reminded me that when Borders had it's "going out of business" sale I bought a bunch of Anne Perrys and forgot all about them. Will list the first (I think it's Thomas Pitt but not sure) on my DL. I think it's actually a re-read, but you know how I like to RIO!
--------
edit: Added to #46 The Cater Street Hangman by Anne Perry, as well as "something by George Pelecanos" and "the next Mickey Haller." Books I've kept meaning to get to.

Is it cheating to add a book *after* I've started to read it?"

i don't think it is. i added 99% of mine after i read them..lol
this was fun to do but too much pressure . lol

Now Sherry, how much pressure could it be if you add them *after* you read them? (assuming you were going to read the book anyway) LOL

pressure to actually read and fill out the list..lol
that's why i stopped making determination lists.

So at this point I only have #10 and #17 to take care off. I guess #10 I can say I'm working on a book off my own shelf that will cover that one. #17 one that someone recommended I need to see what I can read.
Happy reading.

I have 4 books left in the first section but everything else is done.

I was also thinking about 2018's challenge we will probably add one more for the year see maybe we can do add it to the top section or just another plus or maybe switch up one or two of the plus section to make it different. I'll get back to you with it.

At least you tried. We got some that completed it and I hope to complete it too. I'm still thinking about 2018's and will let you know some ideas once I think of them. I'll try and keep it as easy as possible. I think I did better this year without deciding on my books ahead of time. I still would have liked to get more books done off my bookcases.

WTG Dan. I'm more than 1/2 way though my #10 and the book recommended hasn't grabbed me yet. I'm thinking of finding another recommended book.

It was fun matching up books with the extra credit categories, not so easy with the initial ten (and I didn't even list ten!)

Good for you, Dan. I didn't get very far, will wait to see what DJ poses for 2018.

So glad we had a good group this year giving the challenge a try hope we get more involved in 2018. Even if you try to do the challenge and don't get to finish it at least you tried it.

Thanks for pulling together our criteria and getting it started!
Since most of my own Determination books are in print hardback books I am going to have to come up with a new sway to get to more print reading time while balancing with how tired my eyes are often feeling at night.
