Paula--I'm just waiting for the call for my transplant and, at the same time, making sure that as much of the day-to-day stuff around here is as caught up as possible so that my husband and 3 sons won't be too overwhelmed during those 2-3 weeks I'll be in the hospital. Soooo, there's a very good chance that I'll still be reading when you're ready (or I'll be taking a break until I'm coherent enough to finish the book, lol). I was put on the list 2 weeks ago, and they told me that the average time is 1-1/2 to 2 weeks, so we're all biting our nails and waiting...
Everything is just so up in the air with me right now!
Lisa--anything yet? I haven't read enough to tell yet...And btw, I'm going to pick Royal Atlas next! Squee!!!
So, I'm at 40% and I needed this book. It is beautifully written. This story has everything I love. My heart is like goo right now!!Best line ever.....Two pleases!!
And p.s....I'm gonna go buy Royal Atlas right now so I'm ready for ya!!!
I won't be able to read any until tonight and I'm only at 5%. Read your other book, Lisa! What was is? I know I saw that you were 'currently reading' something else as well. I think?? So that I can catch up!!
Deal - I'll go back to the other one (It's Closer by Aria Hawthorne...it's an ARC I got and I'm actually loving it to pieces too!!)
Renee, I finished my other book and I'm thinking of starting this one back up. Were you able to get any reading in yesterday? If not, I can start another ARC and wait till you can catch up...I don't mind in the least :)
I did get some reading done early this morning and got to 20% and then I was busy today, but I'm getting ready to sit down and have a marathon!
Nay - I am at 41% and can I say I am not looking forward to Prom - it's like a car crash waiting to happen! I am off to make bacon sandwiches for lunch - will pick this up after but am dreading what is going to happen
After I got all my morning stuff done, I sat down to finish it and I fell asleep! I'm at 92%, so I'll let you know, Leslie!
I am done too and loved it hard! It wasn't a heartbreaker per se, but it sure pulled the heartstrings for me!!!
Me too! What a neat concept! Now see, I can go with this one because things fit and didn't seem to be made up to make different parts of the story 'work' at different times for different characters. It all flowed and made sense. Very well thought out! And unfortunately, reading this right after reading the other fantasy book made me realize that the other one really REALLY needed more content editing to make sure it all fit together and made sense.
I loved the concept and how it all fit together - nothing left unexplained.Enjoy Royal Atlas guys!
It's 2.30am here and should really go to sleep...but it is NYE!
i'm ready for Royal Atlas!! I need to decide on my Jan challenge book. I'm thinking either From Sand and Ash or Remember When. I also considered Before We Were Strangers, but I think I may have already read it.I'm starting Royal Atlas now unless I hear different, Lisa! How many different books are you reading right now? lol
Omg...I totally recommend From Sand and Ash. That one still sticks with me a couple weeks after. And I am good at multi-tasing, so if you are rwady for Royal Atlas, let's do it. I have a feeling Larks is gonna be one I will need emotional breaks from
