Nay (4ukcats) I'm reading!

Paula White | 800 comments Need to finish my beta! Then if you are still reading I will join in

message 5: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Paula--I'm just waiting for the call for my transplant and, at the same time, making sure that as much of the day-to-day stuff around here is as caught up as possible so that my husband and 3 sons won't be too overwhelmed during those 2-3 weeks I'll be in the hospital.

Soooo, there's a very good chance that I'll still be reading when you're ready (or I'll be taking a break until I'm coherent enough to finish the book, lol). I was put on the list 2 weeks ago, and they told me that the average time is 1-1/2 to 2 weeks, so we're all biting our nails and waiting...

Everything is just so up in the air with me right now!

Nay (4ukcats) Lisa--anything yet? I haven't read enough to tell yet...

And btw, I'm going to pick Royal Atlas next! Squee!!!

Paula White | 800 comments Loved Royal Atlas!

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments So, I'm at 40% and I needed this book. It is beautifully written. This story has everything I love. My heart is like goo right now!!

Best line ever.....Two pleases!!

And p.s....I'm gonna go buy Royal Atlas right now so I'm ready for ya!!!

message 10: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I won't be able to read any until tonight and I'm only at 5%. Read your other book, Lisa! What was is? I know I saw that you were 'currently reading' something else as well. I think?? So that I can catch up!!

message 11: by Lisa (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Deal - I'll go back to the other one (It's Closer by Aria Hawthorne...it's an ARC I got and I'm actually loving it to pieces too!!)

message 12: by Lisa (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Renee, I finished my other book and I'm thinking of starting this one back up. Were you able to get any reading in yesterday? If not, I can start another ARC and wait till you can catch up...I don't mind in the least :)

Paula White | 800 comments OK - Beta finished - just downloading this now and will start reading! :0)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments So far I am really enjoying. Hope you do too

message 15: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I did get some reading done early this morning and got to 20% and then I was busy today, but I'm getting ready to sit down and have a marathon!

message 16: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) OMG this book is breaking my heart! I'm at 48%.

Paula White | 800 comments Nay - I am at 41% and can I say I am not looking forward to Prom - it's like a car crash waiting to happen! I am off to make bacon sandwiches for lunch - will pick this up after but am dreading what is going to happen

message 18: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Just wait, Paula!

I'm at 81%, and I love this book!!

You done, Lisa??

Paula White | 800 comments 70% - hoping for only happiness ahead!

Paula White | 800 comments Sigh - loved that ending

Leslie | 2430 comments Ok, so will this one break me??

message 22: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) After I got all my morning stuff done, I sat down to finish it and I fell asleep! I'm at 92%, so I'll let you know, Leslie!

Paula White | 800 comments Leslie - you will be fine - lovely story

message 24: by Nay (last edited Dec 31, 2016 06:13PM) (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Finished, and I absolutely loved it!

Leslie--I definitely suggest you read it!!

message 25: by Lisa (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I am done too and loved it hard! It wasn't a heartbreaker per se, but it sure pulled the heartstrings for me!!!

message 26: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Me too! What a neat concept! Now see, I can go with this one because things fit and didn't seem to be made up to make different parts of the story 'work' at different times for different characters. It all flowed and made sense. Very well thought out!

And unfortunately, reading this right after reading the other fantasy book made me realize that the other one really REALLY needed more content editing to make sure it all fit together and made sense.

message 27: by Lisa (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Are you ready for Royal Atlas, Nay....or you gonna figure out and do your January challenge first?

Paula White | 800 comments I loved the concept and how it all fit together - nothing left unexplained.
Enjoy Royal Atlas guys!
It's 2.30am here and should really go to sleep...but it is NYE!

message 29: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) i'm ready for Royal Atlas!! I need to decide on my Jan challenge book. I'm thinking either From Sand and Ash or Remember When. I also considered Before We Were Strangers, but I think I may have already read it.

I'm starting Royal Atlas now unless I hear different, Lisa! How many different books are you reading right now? lol

message 30: by Lisa (last edited Jan 01, 2017 08:18PM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Omg...I totally recommend From Sand and Ash. That one still sticks with me a couple weeks after. And I am good at multi-tasing, so if you are rwady for Royal Atlas, let's do it. I have a feeling Larks is gonna be one I will need emotional breaks from

message 31: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I'm on it, Lisa! I'm at 29% and I'm getting ready to close the laptop and settle in to read. I could read 1 sentence or 100 pages, depending on how long my eyelids decide to stay open!!

Do we need a thread? Unless you've already started one, I'll do so.
