I'm doing the same blog hop, so once J.C. has filled up all her spots, anyone who's still interested should contact me...
Does this have to just be fantasy/romance as I can probably get some others from outside the genre? Is it the more the merrier?
More the merrier - all genres. At least none of the info I've been given states otherwise :)I now have five authors and my slots are filled. But please keep posting here if you are interested in joining as some of the above will need authors to link to as well.
(I have A.L., Lee, Shannon and Rebecca all covered)
I've said recent release too. I have posted on FB and emailed a few people. NR I can use your details if you like.
All my spots are filled - but in theory there should always be a spot needing to be filled. My slots are filled, but the 5 authors I recruited will need to fill 5, then their 5 will need 5 etc. I'm wondering if this would work more smoothly if those interested in participating posted their email address here (as some have already done) - then once you've taken a slot in the tour, DELETE your email post in this thread so that others looking to fill slots don't contact you again. Then when you need to fill a slot yourself, just take someone who still has their email in this thread etc. Does that work?Short version (lol) : List your email - join the Blog - delete you email from the thread. Visit thread to find your recruits. The end.
This sounds like fun. I got a bit a lost in the back-and-forths so am not clear about whether anyone is still looking for anybody else. If you are, message me on GR!
Man, I completely whiffed on posting this on Monday. Just totally forgot about. Anyway, I've posted it today. Better late than never, amIright?I gotta stop signing up for these scheduled posting things, because I suck at remembering to do it on the proper day.
Unfortunately, the two people I was going to link to both failed to get me their website links, so I didn't actually have anyone to pass the Hop on to.

:)
Hi there, I think I'd like to take part, though may need to give me a bit more explanation please, as these things don't come easy to me :)
Is this the same blog tour that Kyra Halland is doing? I'm supposed to be following her but need someone to pass to after. If not, I can do this one as well using a different character...in fact, a husband/wife team. Send me the info at fabsfan419@aol.comMy website is www.fabsfan419.wix.com/edireland and my blogsite is www.crazyenoughtowrite.blogspot.com
Fun! I'm interested too (gladney.ryan@gmail.com) if any spots are available. Was it agreed that recently released books are appropriate as well?
I need to fill some spots on my tour... I post this Monday so I need to hurry up and fill those spots. Please email me at Erindianemusic@gmail.com if interested. Put character tour in subject line. Give me your details and I will contact you! Thanks!!

Thanks, Erin! I will send you info by tomorrow at latest!
Erin's blog post went up today, and mine is next week. If anyone else wants to join this tour, I can tag you in from my post next Monday. Email me at gladney.ryan@gmail.com and I'll send you the deets!

I am editing this original post of mine, as I have filled all my slots but there will be a continuous flow of authors participating in this Character Blog Hop so all interested should still post their email/contact info here.
Here are the details of the "Meet My Character Blog Tour"
If interested, post in this thread - then once you have taken a slot in the Tour, DELETE your post (so that others visiting the thread don't contact you to fill their slot). Then re-visit the thread to enlist other authors keen to participate.
MEET MY CHARACTER BLOG TOUR
This tour highlights a main character from one of your WIP or soon to be published work. The person who invites you will have a set day to post. You will post ONE WEEK after that. The authors you tag will post one week after you - so on and so on. To find authors to tag, visit this thread. Remind the author, once they've agreed to participate, to delete their post here so that others don't try and recruit them too.
Here are the questions to answer about your main character from a WIP (work in progress):
1) What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or a historic person?
2) When and where is the story set?
3) What should we know about him/her?
4) What is the main conflict? What messes up his/her life?
5) What is the personal goal of the character?
6) Is there a working title for this novel, and can we read more about it?
7) When can we expect the book to be published?
Remember, when you post it to your blog tag the person who invited you, their blog/Amazon page/books - whatever they suggest. Then answer the 7 character questions followed by linking (hyperlinks) to five other authors. I have seen some have linked as little as 1 other author though – so it’s really up to you. This should be a quick and fun promo and you shouldn’t feel pressured.
My post will be going up at www.jcmells.com on June 9th - so you can use that as an example.
