Well I can see you've all got amazing standards when it comes to your own characters, so I think each character should have a decent sized paragraph at least for their personality and history, like that's a minimum?

Also, I'm gonna cut down on the scholarship student, so I'm thinking of making a thread where people can request and see any left over slots and we can also identify who is what?

Ah also, an added bonus of being a mod is that your characters are automatically approved so you guys don't need to post in finished just in approved

Yeah, sounds like a good idea to cut down. Maybe with that you could also add a thread where you can claim scholarship students, rich kids, nerds etc?

Alright so I've thrown down a roleplay request thread alongside a dormitory one. I've also made one for the scholars and I've decided the decision should be made by all mods for each scholar, the ones accepted now are still valid but from now on people must request.

Oh also guys, if possible could you chase everyone to find out what social group they believe their characters to fall into just so I can fill out this thingy

For the request thing, maybe you could make a form for them to fill in, something like

So we can see if their idea is unique, something that hasn't been done in the group already? Besides, it's probably a given that they get a scholarship because they're academically smart, or they have a sports-related talent that will be good for the school if they play in any interschool tournaments. Also, maybe we could encourage more partial scholarships as well so not everyone has a full scholarship?

Also for the social group thing, what a lot of other groups do is that they have a list to choose from, and they have to "claim" a slot from the list. It's sort of a way of keeping track the ratio of types of characters and number of characters, really.

From what I can see, the social groups we currently have are:

1. Super Rich Kids
2. Rebels
3. Arts Students
4. Nerds (STEM kids basically)

But I could be missing some :)

i was thinking, for the scholarships, something like, idk, 10 full scholarships and 20 partial (it depends on how many characters there are total)

say, for every seven ordinary students, there can be two partial scholarships and one full scholarship? idk, just throwing ideas out there so hopefully it helps

(there are currently 5 full scholarships and 2 partial out of the 18 characters that have been approved so far)

Yeah it's from now on, all previous approved characters are fine! I think a tracker would be a good idea? Sorry it's taking so long to get things started guys I'm just hella busy trying to get myself sorted with other things
