Obviously I'm struggling to do this all alone, so I'm going to give out some moderator positions! I'm only going to ask one question, but make sure you give me an in depth answer!

Why should you be a moderator?

Alrighty, here goes! (I keep editing this because I keep missing stuff)

Numero uno, the obvious stuff: I’ve been RPing for at least six years now and been on Goodreads for at least two of those, and during these two years on this website I’ve been part of many groups (and also modded in some) so I know how everything is usually run, what kind of threads are set up, how to make things easier etc.

Numero dos, the other stuff: I like to consider myself decent to good with graphics and stuff, so if you need any help in that regard me and my fifty million fonts on my computer can help out. Also, I like to think of myself as being pretty approachable and friendly, but won’t take crap if people disrespect others or me.

Number tres, the kind of a good thing kind of a bad thing stuff: I’m always online, which I assume for you should be a good thing, but my timezone is probably quite different to everyone else’s, so when everyone is asleep, I can be awake approving characters and fixing threads, etc.

I hope this is good enough and I hope you’ll consider me as one of your choices for moderator!

Why should I be a moderator? Idk, man, mostly because this group's already dying and it's no fault of anyone. It's the holidays and, obviously, people have their own agendas. However, I do notice how people have already discussed collabs and made really great characters and I would hate to see that effort to go to waste. More than one moderator means the group runs with more efficiency and maintains a nice flow for characters to be approved, and finally kickstart roleplaying.

That being said, I'm pretty much a slave to the Internet and I've modded my fair share of groups as well, so I'm aware of the different phases these kinds of groups go through. I'm negotiable and, if I get picked, will do my best to prevent conflict before it can escalate. Finally, I guess I just don't want to see this group die, so? I'm willing to help in any way your need, I've got the time and experience to do so.

why should i be a moderator ?

i'm a perfectionist about... everything to do with goodreads, really. if people's characters have a flaw, there's a 90-100% chance i'll spot it and it'll annoy me until they fix it. also i'm really active (especially for the next 4 weeks, because it's school holidays) so i can approve characters/read over them a lot and answer people's questions.

i'm quick to pick things up (mostly languages, but also other things, like running a group) and i've modded a fair few groups here, including multiple advanced and reasonably active groups.

while i'm bragging about myself, i'm pretty good at making edits and finding pictures (call it a talent, call it luck, whatever), so if you need good pictures for topics, i can help with that.

i'm reasonably good at solving conflicts, having had much experience both online and in the real world.

but basically, what this group needs in its second mod is activity and approving characters. i think i can offer both of those, plus a little extra.

so, aside from my lack of tact, flippancy, pedantry, nitpicking, short temper, constantly failing computer and spelling nazi qualification, i'm a great candidate (i thought it would be fair to list some of my flaws too)
